Thinking of purchasing an Arc. My entertainment center soundbar shelf is 4” high and 58” across. Considering the Arc dimensions, side, and upward firing speakers will the sound be adversely affected?

Usually when reading about frequency ranges the "treble range" is 2.5k-5k and the "brilliance range" is everything above 5k. Does this possibly mean also the Sonos treble EQ boosts/cuts only 2.5k-5k? Or does it affect everything above 2.5k all the way to the 20s? Is lowering treble a linear equalization? (all affected frequencies cut/boosted the same).  

I purchased an Arc. Also have the sub and 2 Gen 2 5's as surround speakers. Replaced a Playbar. May I use the Playbar in a different room and create a 2d home theater with a surround system? I have Playbar 3s to use as the surround speakers.

We recently added a Sonos Arc, Sub and a pair of One SLs to our Sonos system to replace a Denon AVR (with B&W surrounds and Emotiva subs) that died. I love the Sonos system and have been a Sonos customer since the company first started - we have speakers in almost every room in the house.But something is definitely odd about the Arc. The new system sounds great when listening to music or watching video with no dialog. Dialog, however, is muffled and almost impossible to hear. It doesn’t matter what settings I use in the Sonos app.It may be that I’m simply getting old (I’ve been an audiophile since the mid-70s) so I decided to try a set of bluetooth headphones with a new preamp/transmitter or go back to the wired system. Lo, there doesn’t appear to be a way to connect the Arc to anything but an eArc input (not output) on a TV. As I understand it, the Arc wants to use the return channel for audio, not the primary, so there’s no way to connect it to a preamp/AVR even if it does have H

Is there a Sonos product that combines a speaker with the Port/Connect functionality?  ie. has a line-out

I have placed an order on an Amp and a pair of stands to place my Wharfedales. The idea at first was to sell the Arc and use the speakers and Sub with Amp as a stereo music/HT setup. Now I'm beginning to think what if I am disappointed with the stereo+phantom center performance for DD+ material. So I thought if that's the case i would keep Arc and Sub for TV and just use the Amp and speakers for music. The Wharfedales have a big woofer and go down to 40Hz so should be awesome for music.The issue is the speaker stands which would be obstructing the Arc side speakers. The side speakers vacancy would be around 30cm. Is this enough? I should mention my room is terrible, I get 0 virtual surround effect and my sound stage is very ordinary. So I am guessing I'm not loosing much by obstructing the side speakers? Thanks. 

I really wish the Sonos Amp software would support true low-level output for subwoofer and not just LFE like today. I would like to use the crossover filter on my sub instead of the filter in the Amp. I’d like to send full range to my front speakers even with a sub connected, as my fronts can go a lot deeper than the 50 Hz which is the minimum crossover in the Amp settings. The filter in the Amp also color the sound pretty badly. I don’t know what kind processing it does, but the sound gets bright and muddy.Since the Amp is a product not aimed at the most average consumer, but someone with at least slightly higher demand on sound quality, I really think the option to bypass the built-in filter of the Amp should  be enabled. You don’t need to be an audiophile to appreciate that.

It would be very interesting to have the possibility of correcting the volume on each song, volume adjustment which would of course be saved.I don't think it exists on Sonos and it would be a very useful improvement.Christian

It's not possible to select more than one room when setting up a alarm. You can select play on grouped rooms, but you are not always certain that the desired rooms is in the group. It would be so nice if you could select more rooms. Drop the radio buttons and make check boxes instead

Has there been any discussion about adding bluetooth media volume sync to the Move? Aside from the on-the-go / camping charging woes, having to adjust the phone and speaker volume independently is my biggest gripe with the Move speaker. Every other bluetooth speaker/headphones I’ve used can be adjusted on either the phone or the speaker/headphones and the volume adjustment is communicated/synced to the other device. Am I alone in this gripe or do others share this same sentiment?    It would be nice to see this feature added to the Move speaker. 

Qobuz is now available in Australia as of today, Tues 13 April. I am unable to add it to my Sonos S1 environment as Qobuz does not appear in the music services list. When will this be remedied, please?

Replaced Playbar with Sonos Arc Connecting:ATV4K + Xbox + ATT Osprey + Nintendo Switch To Roofull HDMI Switch To HDFury Arcana To HDMI port on Samsung One Connect box To 2016 Samsung JU7100  and the Arcana e-arc output to the Sonos Arc + 2 Play1 surrounds + Sonos Sub   Controlling with Logitech Harmony companion remote, switches everything on / off perfectly so far. Well worth it  the sound is amazing and definitely noticeable better than Playbar.  The Atmos content is immersive  If you have an older TV and external devices that support Atmos this setup works well.  A few more cables than before, but no need to mess with any Arc from the TV  as all the devices are external.Ps: The Arcana has a loose USB-C connector, HDfury  responsive and they are working on an RMA. 

Hello!I’m currently working on my future appartement and would like to have multiple Sonos amp. I would like to have a 3.1 configuration with : One Sonos Amp in my “Automotation closet”, with 2 Front Speaker Wired (with phantom center) One Sonos Amp near my TV, connected to the TV through HDMI ARCIs it possible to have this two sonos amp working together ? Thanks!   

I recently bought the SONOS Arc + Sub + One to use it with my LG CX tv and I configured the system along with setting up the Magic Remote.  When I just want to use the Arc without turning on the tv (eg. for playing songs using Alexa) I cannot control the volume of the Arc with the Magic Remote. Is there a way to make this work?The volume control works when the tv is on though.

Hi All,I have an ARC, sub and rear SL’s. I previously had a Samsung Q90r. Don’t get me wrong the Samsung had many flaws but its ATMOS sound was very immersive. I don’t really get that from the ARCs ATMOS its a bit half hearted. I think Sonos should of released some rear upfiring speakers if its really wants to compete in the ATMOS soundbar market with the likes of the LG SN11 and the Samsung Q90r etc. In all other aspects I love my ARC but the ATMOS needs some more ooph to it.@Sonos if you can put this request forward. Thank you

Hi everyone - I’ve just bought a whole load of new Sonos kit for my apartment @ circa $1500 expense. My question : how long are ppl generally budgeting for that their products will last? I have a beam, 3 Ones and a move.  I like to invest in things like this, and while I don’t expect they’ll last forever, I like to get value for money. I’m also not someone that always needs the newest gizmo, so as long as the speakers still work whilst more improved models come on line, I won’t feel the need to upgrade.  Im budgeting for getting around 10 years out of all this stuff. Sonos say they support for 5 years after last sale (hopefully longer). Some of these products have been on sale for a few years but I’m hoping they’ll still sell for a couple of years yet. The bad press Sonos got recently around the issue also makes me think they’ll be a bit better around this next time. Anyone any views on how long you expect to get out of your products?In 10 years time we’ll probably no longer be steamin

So, got my LG CX, 65”. Currently the problem is that I have 2 sonos ONE speakers, enjoying them for the last 3 years, and was looking forward to buy SONOS arc for ultimate TV experience (not getting the sub atm). The problem however is the placement. I don’t have that much space. Wall mount is not an option. Any suggestions ? Based on the pictures and my calculations I know I can move back the TV to the wall to fit the Arc on the shelf, however, I might need to put “something” in the same shape for LG CX65” under so it “lifts up” so to speak. By lifting up I mean see all of the screen as ARC will block (9CM tall) the tv view.Anybody has / had similar issue? What kind of solution that would be? Thanks in advance!   

Hello Sonos-ians, I have a sonos arc and in built existing ceiling speakers (not sonos). I would like to connect them to my sonos arc for a full surround sound experience. Can you please advise what is the best way to achieve that? My TV is Sony A8H and has HDMI eARC.Typo in the title -Ceiling*Thanks!

Whilst reading the Flutter 2.0 announcement from Google, it states that Sonos use Flutter to build their apps. With the 2.0 release it means that same app can be deployed to web/windows/mac with no code changes. Do we think that Sonos will release their app on these platforms?

HelloWe’re in the process of building a garden office. It will be triangular in shape, with one side being a sliding glass door.We make extensive use of Sonos throughout the rest of the house so have been thinking through the best options given the odd-shape of the space.Mostly will be listening to Spotify as background music whilst working at the desk.Some thoughts:1x Play Five, set horizontal (red dot on diagram) at desk height. 2x Play Ones, set at either end of the corner desk (blue dots) 2x In-ceiling Speakers, set either as the green or purple dotsI’d be very grateful for any advice or other recommendations/considerations.Thanks in advance - diagram below. 

I find it quite annoying that when you select a station or a song or anything from the IOS sonos app (S2) it collapses all categories.To illustrate just search for SomaFM under stations. It will show a few under Sonos Radio (and others too). Expand that section and you will see around 10-15 different ones. Scroll down and select something from the bottom of the list. It plays it but then collapses the whole section so if you want to quickly try another station you have to expand again and scroll.

I am a long time Sonos user (years).  I have changed room config and routers multiple times.  Until now I have never had any significant problems.  Now the app hardly ever connects to all (or sometimes any) of my 4 devices without restarting my phone or the router and / or a long wait.  I am reduced to using my Bluetooth connected speaker and am considering scrapping my Sonos (seriously).  I have fairly recently added a Play1 - the issue seems to have gradually worsened since.  Can anyone help?

Bit of a strange question, I pre-ordered Roam, card charged ahead of shipping and DHL tracking information sent to me last night.All good, apart from Sonos refunding my debit card this morning, despite tracking showing my order has been picked up and on its way.Now I don’t want to seem ungrateful for the refund, but has anyone else had a similar experience?

Hello,I'm considering buying the Sanus TV mount attachment for the Sonos Arc soundbar (WSSATM1), but I'm not sure if it would be compatible with my current setup:- LG 65" OLED CX TV- Reinston Ultra EU025 full-motion TV mount (sorry, available in Polish only...)See here for a couple of photos (pardon my temporary messy cable management).As you can see, my TV mount differs quite significantly from the one used in the instructions for WSSATM1. Also note that it's tilted downwards by 15 degrees in order to get a good viewing angle while lying in bed.Does anyone have experience using this mount attachment with a similar TV mount? Or maybe someone could point me to a different solution which could work in my case?I realize that this might not be the best place to ask this. I have also reached out to Sanus’ customer support, but I’m still awaiting their response and I’m not inclined to believe they would give any recommendations outside their own product range.Any help or suggestions would be

I have severe high frequency vocal sibilance distortion. Had it bad with both Arc and Beam. Lowering treble to minimum or TruePlay doesn't help much. The problem is my auditory perception. Someone advised to place a bath towel over Beam. I thought it was a joke. It's no joke. The thick fabric absorbs much HF energy while the midrange mostly passes through. Works better than any treble adjustment for me. So now I want to implement this on Arc. Since it is so wide I would like to target the center tweeter and tape a piece of fabric. Does anyone know the exact tweeter location in the center? Right the middle where it says Sonos or slightly to the left? Slightly right?
