Treble EQ - which frequencies are affected?

Usually when reading about frequency ranges the "treble range" is 2.5k-5k and the "brilliance range" is everything above 5k. Does this possibly mean also the Sonos treble EQ boosts/cuts only 2.5k-5k? Or does it affect everything above 2.5k all the way to the 20s? Is lowering treble a linear equalization? (all affected frequencies cut/boosted the same).

I’m afraid we don’t have that information to share - perhaps it’s subject to change?

I would personally assume that treble affects all frequencies above a certain level, but I cannot confirm it.

Certainly, TruePlay adjusts at a much finer resolution than the 2 frequency bands of Bass and Treble.
