I recently upgraded from an Arc with ikea bookcase speakers for surrounds to Era 300 surrounds. Streaming content sounds great which is in typically Dolby Atmos or Dolby Digital 5.1. I tried out using my game console and am finding that the rear channels have a bit of a garbled sound. My console is outputting uncompressed 5.1 sound, and with the ikea speakers the rear channels sounded normal. My console specifically is a docked Steam Deck and I’m unable to output Dolby digital or atmos. Has anyone experienced this before and is there some remedy to fix?

I have a pair of Era 100’s set up as a stereo pair.  I have a CD player which is connected to the line input on the right ERA100.  When playing CD’s the left ERA100 suffers momentary loss of signal.  If I connect the CD player to the left ERA100, the right one suffers momentary signal loss.  I have replaced the cable and tried another CD player and also tried a hard wired connection from my iPad.  Again, no matter what the source, the transmitted channel suffers losses when using the line input.  There is no problem at all if I connect my iPad via Bluetooth, nor is there any problem playing radio or Amazon music.

Hi, I am currently have beam gen 1, 2 One SL as surround, 1 sub mini. I mainly steam movies through Apple TV. Should I upgrade to Beam Gen 2 or Arc and do I need to upgrade the 2 One to Era in order to have Atmos? Thank in advance

Hi, I know this question was already asked several years ago, so I thought maybe it’s been updated since.I’ve got an Arc Ultra, Sub 4, and 2 300s, and I’d like to use a different configuration when listening to music then when watching TV. Basically, I’d like turn off the surround sound, when listening to music.Anybody know how to do that easily?Thanks everybody.

I have 6 x Sonos Ones and SL’s, 2 x Sonos Amps and 3 x Sonos Ports which, as you can imagine, was a huge investment on my part to channel my YouTube Streaming Music via my Android phone across my property. Recently YT Music (YT) stopped working. When I try to play a YT playlist, I get the spinning circle of death on the play symbol. On the 1 time out of 15 it works, shuffle no longer works. Or it plays one different song then repeats the 4 songs its already previously played. Then it goes back to not playing at all.     I have unlinked my account, relinked, reset my router, ‘forgotten’ my entire system, reset and reconnected every one of my components, uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, relinked YT, and relinked components. Sonos S1 gives me a really helpful option to download a google chrome app instead of downgrading my system to work on the S1 App.I see you can connect to the system by bypassing the Sonos App completely and connect directly to the system via the Spotify app. Howev

Hi everyone!We are preparing for the opening of a new Pilates and Dance studio, which will consist of two rooms. The main room measures 7 x 8 sqm with a ceiling height of 4.8m, while the second room is similar in size but has a ceiling height of 2.5m.I believe that one or two pieces of Era 100 in each room should be sufficient. Does anyone have a different opinion or any advice to share?Thanks!

In the iOS app, I would like to be able to add multiple podcast episodes at once to the play que. E.g. by clicking the three dots of a podcast show and choosing “Add to End of Queue”. Today, in the TuneIn or Sveriges Radio channels, it is not possible to add multiple/all episodes in one click to the que. Unlike songs/albums/playlists in the Spotify “channel”, you have to add each podcast episode manually, one by one. Very tedious.It is a mystery why this simple ”feature” has not been added yet. After all, the ability to play podcasts has been around for 10 years or so.In the desktop app it is easier to add multiple episodes though, than in the iOS app. Another podcast related problem is to add podcast episodes in chronological order (or simply reverse the play order of the que). Many podcasts is published with the newest episode at top. But in some cases, as with audio books published by free public radio, this is creates a problem, since you want to listen to the book podcast episodes

Is the controller ever going to get better and actually be in control? Had to leave radio on today for 4 hours when out because Sonos wouldn’t let me turn off, having tried for 20 mins before leaving. Regularly have songs stopped and switched but most infuriated about simply not being able to connect whilst having speakers playing in rooms I’m not in. C’mon Sonos - SORT IT OUT!

I am redoing our office/game room and am upgrading the speakers. I have a dual monitor set up with a docking station with HDMI and 3.5mm connected to a MacBook Pro M2. I game and do some video editing and also just browse and wondering if Era 100 connected to docking station works or is there latency. Would it be be better off with a Beam?

Hi I’m building a kitchen extension with a very high vaulted ceiling.i was thinking about some in the wall speakers, this would require me removing some of the block work the guy at richer sounds thinks it a bad ideaany thoughts appreciatedtia Paul 

My sonos One wont work today as it says I must reauthorise it. It asks me to also reauthorise Tunein. Do I have to have TuneIn to make my Sonos work? Is there a work around? 

Why can’t I use separate music on different speakers in different rooms? Had it before new update. What gives?

I bought a ray sounbar and sub mini as a set. I then felt like I missed the surrround experience as I have 4 overhead speakers from before but I don't have room for two speakers behind my couch so I only bought one era 100 speaker which I was told could sync with the ray sound bar and provide a rear feed. Is this incorrect? Do I need two speakers two have any chance of rear sound? Since the era 100 is sold as a single or a pair I thought it was good to go but I can't get it to sync with the ray soundbar for tv/movies. 

I got an email from no-reply@con.sonos.com about 20 years and 25% discount on most products. Is this an fishing mail? I logged in on the mail, a little bit stupid to not check first.

I just wanted a pair of Bluetooth speakers that I could stereo pair. I didn’t realize that WiFi was required, and I wouldn’t be able to use the Move with the Arc. My bad for not researching enough $800+ down the tubes. I truly despise these speakers. The delay alone with my Mac makes them near unusable. As a retired technology product owner, I can’t believe this company is still in business.

Hey there! I am thinking of getting myself Amp but have read of some annoying trouble some of you have had after the last major update. I have 3 Sonos speakers at home, and would like to connect them, together with my passive speakers, into one system. How smooth is your experience with Amp these days? Would you still buy it today?

Hi,Can the SUB gen4 or the SUB gen3 work with Sonos Era100 Pro speakers? And if so, can they connect wirelessly? 

I had an install done by Best Buy. I purchased the Sonos - Beam (Gen 2) 5.0 Channel Smart Soundbar with Dolby Atmos. They took the manual when cleaning up.I tried downloading the PDF, but it shows up the size of a postage stamp no matter how hard I try to print it.  Is it possible to have a manual mailed to me? Who do I contact?
