My brother has Sonos speakers throughout his home so staying in the Sonos ecosystem and using the app to control music throughout his home is important to him.
One problem...
He has outdoor pool speakers that are not Sonos brand.
So, a few years ago I gave him my old Sonos PORT. He plugged that into an Audiovox amp and was able to use the Sonos app to control those pool speakers.
The Audiovox amp is no longer working and we are trying to find a cheap solution to get his pool speakers back up and running.
Looking on Amazon I came up with a few 300 watt amps that are dirt cheap in price but have mostly favorable reviews. All he would need to do is plug the PORT and his pool speakers into the amp.
I want to order from Amazon as in most cases, I can get it next day and it’s easy to return if it doesn’t work out.
Do you guys feel any of these amps at a $100 pricepoint or less will work?
