I have created playlists within Sonos for years and have had no trouble moving tracks around, but now there doesn’t appear to be that option anymore, is that correct, or am I missing something?

I sincerely hope Sonos haven’t removed that feature, or it could be the final straw.

Sonos has, with the update on Monday of this week, just rereleased the ability for mobile devices to update playlists, although full functionality is gradually rolling out, per the updates notes FAQ. Have you updated your S2 controller yet? 


Hi, thanks for that.  My app is up to date, but still no option to move tracks… when I go into the playlist, then more options, it just has a play button! and to make matters worse, there’s no dismiss, have to close the app altogether and reopen.

 


Then I suspect you should call Sonos Support directly to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system. And if there are missing items, they can pass on the data to the appropriate folks.
