I just purchased a Sonos Roam - probably my 9th piece of Sonos equipment. I tried to hook it up to my system and basically it says that I cant connect this thing unless I throw out all my old SONOS gear. Are you guys short on money or something? This just seem pretty pathetic for a real company to brick all their old equipment. My father has Bose speakers from the 70 that work great.... I just cant believe you would do this to your customers. Is there any way to just listen to this thing with my blue tooth or do I need to register and have the app? What about my friends... Do they need to register and have the app too? If I want to listen to this at my friends house and he has existing Sonos can I use it without him having to brick his old Sonos gear? So many questions abut your goal here??

I own a Beam, 2 Sonos one and a Sub, I love watching movies and listen to music. What's your best setup for the speakers? I've found myself lowering the volume of the sub and having the volume of the one's all the way up. I'd love to read the setup of your choice.
Any news on iPad 8th gen trueplay support please please please

Ready for my next purchase. Which is better, Move or Roam?
I just bought a Sonos sub that I want to use in a covered patio. Can I use it with a cover over it to protect it without losing performance?
We recently purchased a Sonia ARC, Yamaha RX-V4A and an Epson Home Connect 4010. We have an HDMI cable plugged into the ARC and run to the receivers HDMI output eARC/ARC. Sonia ARC says it can not find the connection when we try it in the Sonos app, hence no sound. HDMI is plugged in to the receiver and the projector. Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated.

I bought the Roam to use as an external speaker for the Xfinity app on my iPad. I only want to use it in Bluetooth mode but, every time you turn on the Roam, it starts up in WiFi and you have to press and hold the power button to turn on BT. Any way to have the Roam default to Bluetooth when you first turn it on or turn off WiFi connection permanently or something?
I have read a few of the questions similar to my issue and tried a number of the recommended fixes, yet I cannot resolve my intermittent audio issues related exclusively to my “Line In” configuration, could use some brain muscle… I have 10 devices linked to my Sonos system along with multiple audio sources from which to hear the sweet sounds of Sonos in pretty much every room of my home. However, no matter where I access my “Line-In” source, I cannot solve this intermittent sound hiccup, going silent from a millisecond to a few seconds at most. Guaranteed to happen on any average 3.5 minute song as an example, and would expect 3-4, maybe more of these quick but painful black outs in this example, but nothing consistent to be clear. Here is the configuration for this source… I create hiking/travel trail review videos as a hobby and spend probably too much time on my PC (Windows 10 OS). I wanted a better audio sound than my PC speakers so I physically installed my Play 3 in the sam
On my Android phone I have a LARGE music library (almost 10K tracks, mostly flac).Black player manages fine, and I have all my playlists there. The Sonos app struggles with the libary size, AND cannot see my playlists. How do I play to the Sonos One speaker from the Black Player app?
Hi there,Was looking the Never Stop Exploring radio, the one co-created by Sonos and The North Face, but I do not find it.Any clue? Thanks!!
Are there near-term plans to let me play SONOS radio on my phone, so that I can connect it to a Bluetooth speaker? I love SONOS radio and subscribe to the upgraded service. But I travel 2+ weeks a month and can’t play SONOS radio on the road.
HiI have got 5 speaker rough ins done in my new home for surround sound. 3 in the back and 2 in the front. I want to use Sonos AMP with those speakers but I am not sure how I can connect them the right way. I was told that Sonos amp can connect only 2 left and 2 right speakers. not sure how to handle the central speaker in the back

Hello everyone,I’m about to buy my very first Sonos product. My plan is to buy a Beam and 2 One SL for the TV, 2 One SL in the kitchen (right near by the living room) and 2 One SL in the bedroom (right near the living room too). I have a Playstation 5, a Nintendo Switch and an Apple TV.How to connect everything to be sure that it works as simply as possible? My wife will kill me if it takes too long to start the whole thing or if you want to switch from the Apple TV to the Playstation. In addition to this, there is wifi everywhere and RJ45 right behind the TV and in the bedroom. Thanks a LOT for your help :)
Hi everyone,After some advice here.I recently had 2 Sonos in ceiling speakers installed and sold my 2 existing Sonos Ones being used as surrounds. This is something I’ve done many times now and I’ve always remembered to reset the Sonos before sending. For some reason I had a brain snap and have mailed these 2 speakers but forgotten to reset them (I only remembered afterwards). What is the best way to ensure my account details aren’t immediately available to the new owner? Is it best to reset all my passwords?I’m kicking myself on how stupid I was to forget this, but would appreciate any advice. Thanks
Hey all, I’m redoing our main family room and looking to go Amp+Bookshelf speakers. We mostly listen to music in this room, but want to be able to pipe the TV from time to time, so looks like Sonos amp. I haven’t shopped for HiFi speakers in years. Prior to switching to Sonos, I had a Focal 5.1 that I really liked. Curious what lines I should be looking at? KEF Q150 is on my radar. It’s a little more than I wanted to spend, but hoping y’all might help me narrow the field a bit. TIA!
Hey all, I currently have a beam and really like it, for more esthetic reasons, looking to move to an Amp plus bookshelf speakers. Wondering if anyone can speak to phantom center on Amp vs Beam. Obviously the quality of the sound you’d be getting with an amp would depend on what you’re using. I am leaning toward Q Acoustics 3030. I feel like you’d get better stereo separation with two speakers vs Beam, but wondering what the dialogue experience is like with the Amp. We use the dialogue boost on all our Sonos products. Thanks all!
