Depends on your purpose. You need a much larger knapsack for MOVE.

The Move is by far a better sounding speaker, but the Roam is more portable because of the smaller size.

From Sonos:

Roam is smaller in both size and weight for increased portability, while Move's larger size enables deeper, richer sound. Roam is also waterproof and can be submerged up to 1 m (3.2 feet) for 30 minutes, whereas Move is designed to withstand moderate rain and splashes.

I would go with the Move. It is the best-sounding portable speaker I have ever used.

Well.. IF (and that’s a big IF), you can get your hands on a MOVE, because the backorder issues that the company is going through; sure go for it.
