Talk Sonos Products

I’m considering buying some Sonos products for the main living area of my home. It’s a 20x40 space with ceilings vaulted from one story to two. There’s a TV on one side that I’d like to get a soundbar for - I’m considering the beam gen 2. We’d like to have a speaker on the other side of the house so we can have music fill the space - I’m considering an era 300 for that.  just looking for advice on whether that’s a good plan, or if there’s another setup I should consider.  Thanks! 

First comes Roam, then Come Move, next is Wander, Stray, Range????? I was thinking something like the five x2 or the roam x2 or era 300 x2 in travel and weather proof form with 24hr batters and other goodies…

Buying my 1st Sound Bar…  Arc Ultra added to cart Already.Which will go better with my set up black or white…???  

I have had my Sonos Arc for over 3 years and had no problems. The Arc mute light randomly decided to switch on and is now stuck on the mute light, and has been for the past two weeks. I have tried everything to fix it. I have disconnected all the power, inlcuding my tv and left it for two days, plugged everything back in, and the mute light comes straight back on. I have tried doing a factory reset on the device by holding the back button while plugging in the plug/cable, but again the mute lights comes straight back on. I have played with settings on my LG C1 tv, I have tried turning earc on and off, have turned simplink (hdmi-cec) on and off, but the mute lights stays on, i have tried resetting network settings on my tv, have tried pressing the mute button on my tv remote, i have tried pressing the buttons on my sonos arc but no button is responsive, i am just stuck with the mute light on the arc remaining on. This is more a visual issue than a “real” issue but …..maybe someone knows so here goes: For your online profile (www.sonos.com → login) you can see all your Sonos devices you have added to your “system” over the years (My Account → System) on that email/login you have used.  It lists everything from speakers to controllers, for me it shows everything I’ve added since 2006 (ZP100) including various CR100 controllers - so everything under my email login for S1 devices.A lot of these devices I no longer own/have due to various reasons (broken/sold on/lost/upgraded) BUT they are still showing on my online profile.Note, these devices are *NOT* listed/showing on the S1 app anymore (expected behavior) as i no longer have them (broken/sold/lost/upgraded).Is there any way to get these deleted/removed from my profile??This issue is specifically for my S1 devices (and my online profile for S1).  I’ve not had to “remove” anything on my S2 profile, yet...but i suspect same issue. Yes, realise this

building a custom sauna, and I wanted to install Sonos speakers in the sauna. it’s been impossible to get a direct answer from Sonos whether or not they make speakers that can withstand the humidity and heat of a sauna. Does anyone know if you can use Sonos speakers in a sauna? When I did a chat with customer support, they said they don’t have any products they recommend, but I’ve seen lots of people have Sonos products in their sauna

My wall mounted 75” TV protrudes 4-1/4” from the wall. I am planning on wall mounting my Sonos Arc Ultra underneath using Sonos wall mount bracket which is essentially flush to the wall.  Will the upfiring speakers be affected (will I have enough clearance) ?

I currently have an original Move and would like to add a Move 2. Is it possible to link them together with Bluetooth for use in a room with no WiFi?

Gday all from Australia I recently purchased an Arc Ultra (placed under the TV - just not pictured) which has been great. Looking at adding either sub mini/4 along two era 100s?Looking for advice and placement on the basis that the space is living/dining/kitchen. (7m x 6m) Where would you place the tears?Also looking to place some speakers outside in the covered alfresco area. Any advice here is appreciated. 

I have am RT-BE96U router and a sonos system with about 9 sonos S2 speakers.   I also have a Sonos Boost directly connected to the router.  My understanding this is effectively creating its own subnetwork anyway which is the point of the boost (yet is discontinued).  However, I seem to have a lot of dropouts no matter the wifi channel.   Given the Boost is discontinued- I’m not 100% sure it’s being used the same way it was years ago to create its own network. Asus has easy setup of a IOT 2.4 5ghz network.   Would I be able to prevent dropouts and interference if I put sonos on a 2nd wifi iot network by itself? 

What would people recommend for a multi room include outdoor and outdoor garden room. I need something to stream the same music in kitchen/diner, lounge, garden room and outside

i have a pair of sonos 5 and a pair of sonos 1;s i have put the 1;s and the 5’s in the same room then bonded the two rooms together so that i can have them working together...but is their a way to connect the 5;s to the 1;s directly and not through grouping rooms

My home interiors are in progress and my day room, family lounge, dining are all interconnected open spaces.I have attached my Living Room Plan. (ALl measurements rae in milimeters)I dont have too much budget left but want to install SOnos Arc Ultra as of now. Kindly note I have never used any soundbar evr or any other speakers for TV, ever in my life.Will Arc Ultra be sufficient as per attached plan.All inputs will be welcome.Thanks in advance. 

Bottom line: Connect ALL Sonos speakers directly to Wi-Fi if you have a strong Wi-Fi 6 mesh network.Don’t connect ANY speakers to Ethernet, as often recommended for older Sonos speakers like Play:1. This solved my problems with speakers dropping out of a large group and made older Sonos speakers more responsive while grouped with newer Sonos speakers. The details: Sonos Performance Tip: When Not to Use SonosNet (WM:0) Setup Summary:  ~10 Sonos speakers (mostly Play:1 and some newer models) No speakers wired to Ethernet A Boost was available but unplugged Strong Wi-Fi 6 mesh network (e.g., eero, TP-Link, etc.) 1 Gbps fiber internet   Findings:After trying both SonosNet (WM:0) and Wi-Fi mode (WM:1):  SonosNet made performance worse in this setup — more dropouts and instability Switching all speakers to WM:1 (Wi-Fi) resulted in clear improvement Boost was unplugged, and no speakers were wired via Ethernet — relying purely on the mesh Wi-Fi proved more stable   Takeaway: If you

Hi,Reading around it seems last.fm functionality was retired around a year ago. However my scrobbles had been working just fine until the very most recent app update. Now it only scrobbles a small amount, seemingly at random. Very disappointing, but since there hadn't been any update that I can see on these forums, are the team at Sonos looking at restoring last.fm functionality?The app is close to being as it was (though still no ability to create new Sonos playlists on the app, only edit existing ones) but this is a major loss.In the meantime, if anyone has any suggestions to enable scrobbling (simple scrobbler isn't working for me, even with the Sonos player ticked) I'd appreciate it.

Hoping the many experts here can provide me some guidance :)I want to add an outdoor zone comprised of four landscape speakers and an in-ground sub. Something along the lines of the Sonance PATIO4.1 or similar.My question is on the best way to power these as a single zone. Am I correct in assuming I could use a Sonos Amp for the four satellites plus a second amp for the passive sub connected to the sub out on the amp? And if I’m correct, is this the best option or, is there a better way?Also, if this is the ideal way, any amp recommendations for the passive sub? 

I’m wondering how to make a home theater with two 5s what would be the best way to do that? Then what soundbars are able to sink with both 5s if that is the only option. thanks :)

Hello - I am setting up my outdoor system and am having issues finding an outdoor sub that will work….  Does anyone know what sub I can use with this?  There are VERY few outdoor active subs out there.  What about passive?  Does that mean I need ANOTHER amp just for the sub?? thanks!G
