Hello
I have a Sonos One and I have it in the living room at home. The idea is to have another speaker in another living room that I have upstairs in the same house and another one in the garden.
I would like everyone to have the possibility to put on their music differently if they wish or the same music.
Could you tell me what device to buy for the living room and garden? And that it can create different environments?
Thank you in advance
Jose
Response:
Technically, any Sonos speaker would work, and you can group them, or play different streams in each Sonos ‘room’ that you choose.
Were it me, I’d likely go for an Era 300, or a Five, in the living room. Either would give you slightly better ‘oomph’ and better bass, although the Sonos One is pretty good. If you wanted a similar form factor as the One, I’d recommend an Era 100.
The ‘garden’ is more challenging, as I think there are different usages of that word in different locations. I happen to be in the US. But I’d probably consider a Sonos Roam or a Move in that location. Both are battery rechargeable devices, and shouldn’t be left outside permanently. They’re water resistant, but not waterproof. I wouldn’t want to leave one out in the rain, and given there operating parameters for temperature, I would be careful about when it was out, depending on excessive heat, or freezing temperatures. But when a human is comfortable, the speaker would be as well.
There is no ‘right’ answer to your request. Only you can make the correct choice for your own needs.
Respuesta:
