Hi there,I have recently discovered Amazon Music Unlimited’s Atmos music offerings (as well as its Ultra HD). In my living room, I have a Beam Gen 2 + Connect Amp (S2) connected to some ceiling speakers acting as surrounds. If I play Atmos content to just this setup via Amazon Music on the Sonos App, “Atmos” is clearly displayed in the app showing that the content is, indeed, playing in Atmos. However, if I “group” our kitchen speakers (Play 1s) with the ones in the living room, the display changes to HD. Now I know that Play 1s max out at HD quality, but does this mean that the entire stream has downgraded to HD as a result of grouping? Or will the Living Room speakers continue to play in Atmos quality (despite what the display says)?I guess part of this answer depends on how the speakers and stream interfaces, and it’s beyond my understanding. I've recently purchased a new Pioneer TX55JZ1000B tv and whilst I can connect through the app my phone for the volume it will not sync to allow me to adjust the volume on the remote as all my other TV's in the house so?I currently connect via a optical cable as that is the only option on my soundbar....any help would be appreciated. 

I am an amateur radio operator and when I operate on frequencies 4 mHz or below, my arc sounds the Alexa beep and the surround speakers make rapid drumming sounds (this is with the system off).  When the system is on, the volume will increase to maximum.  This occurs at very low transmitter power (10 watts RF out).  I called Sonos support and after about an hour and talking to two different people, they said they had never had this issue and that it was outside their support.  Any other hams have this issue?  I find no FCC acceptance stickers on the Arc, Sub or Surround speakers.  My transmitter is properly grounded (for RF suppression).  

I will be moving to Australia from Canada. I know we have different power cycles and I can use my Sonos equipment on their power but where can I buy the replacement power cords? Thanks for any info.  

I have Apple TV 4K and the Sonos Surround Set (ARC not Playbar). My TV is a Sony Bravia 4K (KD 55X8509C) from 2015.I know that I won't be able to get Dolby Atmos until I either upgrade my TV or buy an HD Fury Arcana.However, when I first got my Sonos set, I could get Dolby Digital 2.0 or 5.1 on Apple TV 4K (on Disney Plus, Netflix etc). Now, everything plays in Stereo PCM. I haven't changed any of the settings. I've used the same content as I did when I got DD2.0 and 5.1.Any ideas? What's going on?

Can an arc be installed vertically? 

Does Trueplay saves after pulling the plug of Sonos Arc? Or a retuning is required?  Asking the question as I had pulled the plug to switch my sonos arc off to reset it to “reactivate” the airplay. The app still shows the trueplay has been set though.  Thanks! 

We have been occasionally getting a buzzing sound like a doorbell ringing from our Kitchen Move. I have it set with an alarm in the morning to go off with Sonos Radio HD Mellow Morning. Once it starts it does not stop until I turn it off. Does anyone have any experience with this and how to fix. The same thing happened with our Roam when we lost power a ways back. If not, I will send a case in. Thanks in advance.

I've had to reset my mobile and as a result the section on "this mobile section" in browse has duplicate Albums with some of them empty. Is there a way of resetting these listings? 

I brought a Sonos one to add airplay 2 to my system, only to find that it would then not pair as a stereo pair to a Sonos 1. So I then brought a second one so I could get a stereo pair to use as surround sound. but now because there used as surround sound I get no option to use them as airplay 2. what the hell is wrong with Sonos. What is the point of disabling airplay when speakers are used as surround sound. Listen to music how you like is now what’s happening anymore. sonos sort this out and allow tv and music to be on separate apps. 

Hi, as the title suggests a full release number bump is pretty big so I’m concerned that even with that there has been no mention of either the 7.1 to 5.1 downmix feature or the LPCM low volume bug. @Corry P can you please confirm if either of these things are still being looked at? 

Hey folks, ex-Sonos engineer here! I love what you've been doing to improve the UX after changing the router password or the router itself. Great work! I don't need to carry an Ethernet cable when I travel with Sonos anymore.My feedback: I have many Soni, and usually travel with one or two. When I get to my destination, I go to Manage Networks. In the "Select a product to change its network settings." screen, it took me quite a while to figure out why it was asking about my Beam (see pic) which was at home, rather than either device I had with me. I was super-frustrated for an embarrassing amount of time, until I realized it was a carousel of all my devices, and I could swipe to the one I wanted.The thin grey line with an black indicator at the bottom isn't enough of an affordance. Please make it more obvious that there's stuff to the right!Thanks,​​​Seth 

I have a Sonos Amp with KEF LS50 Metas with the KC62 subwoofer for stereo listening. Previously I had Dali Opticon 1 MKII on the Sonos Amp and found them muddy. I’m impressed with the LS50 Metas + KC62. This combo beats my Sonos Five Stereo Pair for music.  I’m curious how others have tuned the KC62 to match the LS50 Metas. I found the KC62 is slow to turn on at low volumes with the Amp sub at 0. I originally started with the KC62 volume at 3 o’clock and the Amp at 0. It was far too much sub gain. I dialed back the KC62 to 12 o’clock but had the aforementioned slow turn on issue. I upped the Amp gain through the S2 app to +8 and dialed back the KC62 to 9 o’clock.  This seemed to work well at volume 15, but at 20 the low end response was too strong. I’ve kept the KC62 EQ at Room. Phase 0.  Anyone else with this setup tune in the KC62? It would be great to hear settings and placement tips. 

Is there any way to have different levels of surround volume when streaming Atmos and normal stereo tracks?  At present I listen to music with my rear speakers set to ‘full’ and the surround volume set at +5, however, when I’m playing atmos mixes the music becomes unbalanced as I’ve gone from essentially 2 stereo speakers turned up a bit to the surround channels overpowering a different mix.  if there isn’t a workaround then what’s the possibility of a separate option to be added so that atmos music surrounds can default to a different volume than stereo ‘full’ surrounds? I know it’s a minor thing but it’s quite annoying to have a mixed list and have to alter levels for individual tracks manually, especially as there’s no good way to not play atmos versions when there are any. 

I am using the Sonos SL for rear’s with my Sonos Arc, but I don’t get a lot of sound out of  the two SL. Can this be improved.I am using the system for tv and sometimes for music..

If Sonos produced a screen type interface that was dedicated to “what is playing” on my player. it would also be a master control. hang it on the wall like a control panel.  I like browsing album artwork and being able to see track names at a glance.  peace.   

Hi,As a new customer looking at my first purchase, just trying to decide on which option of the following.1.Arcor2.Beam Gen 2 + One SLx2.I have listened to the beam and the arc in the shop and can tell the difference but was unable to listen to 2xOne SL speakers with the beam to make a comparison.

HICan I pair the sonos Beam (1gen) as a stereo pair with the Sonos one SL (gen2) duo Speakers? Kind regards, Georgdy

Hello,This is my first Sonos product, which I received as a gift.The network setup requirements were mildly frustrating since we were traveling for the holidays (which I mention only because I’d seen another thread about this and thought I’d chime in), but it set up easily enough when we returned home.  Reading on the functionality, I thought it could be a wireless smart speaker, but enabling Google Assistant drains the battery faster than the charger it came with can keep it going.  After discussing with Support, I disabled the assistant since it seemed to be to blame for the power drain.  Otherwise, between the assistant drain and it refusing to stay off, it would have had to be on a direct USB-C power supply permanently.  After getting it set up on WiFi, I can get my Synology music to play to it directly most of the time, and found it could integrate with SiriusXM.  Other web sources e.g. Youtube Music required upgraded accounts vs ‘just working’ on Google smart speakers, but I imag

I have a pair of monitors ( Prana Fidelity 50/90) that I would love to have in my office but need to land them on each side of a slider. Cant touch the walls/floors, and running a cable will be ugly as all get out. Instead of trying to send wireless to 2 monoblocks, the dual AMP solution would be awesome. Has anyone done this? I have seen a few topics from 3-5 yrs ago but nothing updated. There is a large community of us out there that have to agree to our partners design aesthetic and could benefit from a solution that could be a relatively simple code change/ feature request if not already possible. 

I know that others have had success with this, but I’m not sure if my receiver is compatible with the Sonos system and thought I would see if anyone had any other ideas. I am trying to connect my Port to my vi rage Sansui 5000 receiver to play vinyl records.  It seems like I am supposed to connect the “output” on the receiver to the “input” on the Port. However, my receiver doesn’t have a clear “output” setting (and also the plugs aren’t color coded!) I have tried connecting the cords to both the “Rec” and “mon” plugs and that doesn’t work. I have also tried connecting the turntable directly to the Port and that doesn’t work either. Would appreciate any ideas!

Hi, can i use my Playbase for making an home theater system with 2 in-celling speakers and a sub, all from Sonos?

Hello,I realize this question has been asked a bunch before, but to be sure of my situation I’m hoping to get some help with what I want to achieve.  Not the most technically savvy person, so hoping to get some guidance.We have a multi-Sonos speaker home and in the living room, have my old B&W speakers connected to the Connect: Amp. We also have a Marantz 2230 that we use specifically to listen to vinyl on our Technics SL-1710 turntable.  I want to bridge everything so that we can play records and hear them on the B&W’s, as well as the rest of the Sonos speakers throughout the house - as well as just listen to the turntable in the sweet spot in the living room via the B&W’s.Is this do-able?  If so, is some kind person here able to detail the connectivity process in order to make this happen?  I understand this will require a preamp. Beyond that, just curious to know about connections and such. Appreciate anything you can tell me.Thanks!Steven 

Hey everyone, Im ive moved into a new home and working on getting my sound system dialed in.  I have one balcony up and one outdoor space down, id like to have an outdoor speaker in each on different channels.  Isnt it a bit excessive to buy 2 brand new amps and have them just powering one outdoor speaker?  Can I get away with using the older sonos connect amp for each outdoor speaker? I also have 4 rooftop speakers up/2 down but will go with the newer amp here. Just hoping I dont have to splurge on newest hardware to power just one speaker. Would there be a big difference in sound quality between the amps when just powering one speaker? Thanks in advance.
