[Francais] Bonjour,Peut-on laisser son Roam 24/7 sur le chargeur sans fil? Est-ce que la durée de vie de la batterie sera compromise?Merci d’avance :)
Have Lg uhf 50 tv. Trying to add Ray. Sound out set as digital sound out auto (tried Pcm also) and simplink off as it’s not hdmi. No sound. Settings on Sonos are just standard. Tried turning on and off and reset to no avail. Does the audio out that comes with Ray different than previous? It fits fine in that but different shape on back of my tv which less than 5 years old. One on the tv doesn’t seem like it’s already in. Don’t want to push too hard as that’s what happened with the arc hdmi, it pushed the jack in so I can’t get at it. Any help appreciated.
says my email already used for sonos acct on iphone dso cannogt dnload sonos 2 ap
Hello, We’ve collected Sonos speakers over the course of a few years and ended up with two fives in stereo and two rear-facing ones in stereo. As I understand there is no way to make the front facing fives part of the 5.1 channel that the soundbar + 1’s + sub would create, correct? Is there any way to accommodate them? We really like the 5’s for listening to music, but the 1’s are not a true rear surround now while watching movies. I know we should have done our homework more, but we slowly acquired these overtime and recently moved, which yielded us a very large common space that contains all of these speakers.
Hi, for anyone who has bought the Sonos Roam, have you bought a case for it? If so, which one did you get?
Hi, I’m thinking of buying a Sonos Move to pair with my bluetooth turntable. Question is - If the turntable and Move speaker are connected via bluetooth, can I then beam the sound from the turntable (bluetooth connection) across the rest of my Sonos set up at the same time using the Wi-fi network? thanks!
Hi, I just wanted to ask for thoughts - is it better to get two Roams as a stereo pair or one five in stereo? I’m guessing the five has better sound but not really a whole lot of separation of audio...or do you think otherwise? I saw a thread on here about buying a Port or a five for a turntable and I bought a Port and now I’m using two Roams to listen to music in my office but now I’m thinking damn, maybe I should have just bought a five for everything (knowing i still need a preamp and line in)….
I’ve spent the last 3 hours trying to get my play 1 to connect to my new MacBook as a speaker following all sorts of guides and stuff. No chance. It won’t show up as a speaker. I have no interest in Radio of any kind or any service that chooses the music for me. I want to choose what music I play and when it plays. Is there anything I can do that Play:1 is capable of doing? Cheers Stefan
Order 1 Ray, charged for 2, apparently 2 on the way... have tried to contact Sonos but seems no one is responding...
Hi I’ve just bought a beam and and epson EH-TW7000 which i’d like to use to with a chromecast ultra and hopefully get dolby atmos. I now realise I need some kind of HDMI switch/matrix to get the audio out but I’m not sure exactly which one….don’t really want to spend another couple of hundred pounds on an HDfury if I can avoid it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks,
Here’s my setup:Apple TV —> HDMI to 2020 Samsung qledSonos Arc —> HDMI eArc to TVHere’s the problem:I get sound when clicking around on the AppleTV menus, but no sound when I play anything. Nothing through Netflix, Hulu, Disney, or iTunes. I DO get sound when I don’t use AppleTV and just use the apps through the TV. I know this is an issue that others have, but Apple doesn’t have a solution besides turning off all surround sound and I haven’t seen Sonos provide any support to resolve it. All new brand name tech and they don’t work together??
I have just upgraded to a nice new shiny 65 inch Panasonic 2021 OLED TV, everything appears to work perfectly in respect of optical connection from the TV to my Sonos Playbar however the Playbar cannot/will not learn the volume settings from my infrared remote whilst trying to train it using the volume up button. Has anybody come across this issue with the most recent universal Panasonic remote (mine is a R3PA265) and if so is there a known fix to get the volume up, down and mute buttons to work.
Was there another update last night? My 8 am alarm started, but no music in Office. Checked the app, Office had been ungrouped. This happens every time there’s an update.
I want to use my iphones microphone as source and sonos roam as an amplifier. Many people don’t speak very loud and are difficult to hear t.ex. When they are making a speach to a party. I have just been to a birthdayparty - 80 years- and it was very difficult to hear speaches. Maybe sonos could integrate this possibility in the app. I´m sure, that it will be very popular.???
Hi All-New to Sonos and we are currently in the process of renovating and expanding our house and looking for the best setup to get what we’re looking for. A few notes before getting into the details:Planning on using a Samsung Frame TV Use YouTubeTV, not a traditional cable provider Would like to avoid a sound bar for aesthetic purposes Want to ensure that TV audio is easy to hear Looking for audio in 2 (Family Room/Kitchen and Dining Room), potentially 3 (Family Room/Kitchen, Dining Room+ Living Room), rooms Dimensions of rooms are: Family Room/Kitchen - 16’ x 27’; Dining Room - ~ 11’ x 12’ 6” and Living Room - ~12’ x 13’I would appreciate advice on how the best way to set this up is; I’ve provided our floor-plan with my initial thoughts on how this should be done as well as what Sonos products I am thinking from my research, but would like confirmation that this is the best way to do so and will function properly.Below is our floor-plan and I’ve denoted (proposed) speaker location
This is just feedback to Sonos.I don’t really like having to reset my router every time the Sonos app can’t find my Sonos system, whcih is becoming more frequent. Everything in my house is connected to the router, so resetting it is not ideal. I am sure there is a technical reason for needing to do this, but your users don’t care about that. All they see is that it is becoming increasing onerous to own and operate a fairly expensive sound system. From a marketing standpoint this might be a problem for you.I’ve had a Sonos system for 12 years. For the first time I am beginning to think that it isn’t really worth it.
I am about to purchase a new iPhone 13 pro. At the moment I am using my Sonos app on an iPhone XR. The app is the latest 2 version and my speaker is the Sonos 1 (2nd generation). Will Sonos automatically work when I transfer app to new phone or will I have to do anything in settings? Your help is much appreciated.

Hi there, I’ve just added the Radioplayer service. I am in Germany and Radioplayer is only listing German Radio stations. Afaik, Radioplayer is also available in other countries. Why can’t I select a French or British radio station in Germany ??? I know that I can do that with TuneIn, but TuneIn is playing ads when I start streaming a radio station, so I want to stop using their service if there is an alternative. Thanks in advance!Oliver
Until recently my Sony KD-65A1 TV and Sonos Arc have worked perfectly since I purchased the Arc over 12 months ago. The Sonos Arc is connected to the TV via HDMI/ARC. Recently the TV sound on the Arc has been dropping out after using one of the TV Android Apps such as YouTube. Even when I close the App and go back to TV there is no sound. Once the sound has dropped out the only way to get the TV sound back on the Arc is to disconnect the power or HDMI so the sound switches to the in-built TV speakers and then reconnect the Arc when the sound is then redirected back through the Arc. I have tried all combinations of settings to try and resolve the problem without success. The Sonos App does not show the type of signal from the TV when there is no sound (blank instead of the usual Dolby Digital 2.0, Stereo PCM, etc.) so I think the Arc has stopped processing the sound from the TV HDMI. Both TV and Arc have latest software and I wonder if the issue is as a result of a recent software updat
I am in Italian living in Russia. Currently I am unable to use your products because you disable the Russian music services. Although I am not sure this method is effective, I understand your marketing attempt at the expense of you clients to stop the War. Anyway, since I have nothing to do with war and since I cant use your product - will it be possible for you to reimburse me? PS: By the way if I move back to Italy and Italy get involved with NATO in an senseless war like it did in Iraq, Libia, Serbia, Afganistan - are you going to disable the music service also there?
Could you please kindly assist please…….again!I bought a Arc and installed it ok, the problem is I cannot get any atmos on it?The tv is Samsung 2017 model, if I look at the audio outputs there is no DD+ only DD and only see DD 5.1 in the Sonos app, is the DD+ format totally different to normal DD and should I be able to select DD+ in the audio settings? Maybe the tv is too old?I am aware that the Arc needs to have a minimum of DD+ for it to play a compressed atmosIf I play a blu ray with atmos soundtrack I still only get DD 5.1, there is no tv setting for passthroughwould a HD Fury Arcana resolve this? Also if I stream Amazon music ( not unlimited) via airplay should I see cd format 16bit 44khz in the app as I don’t😥Thank you 👍Martin
I'm considering a soundbar (likely Sonos Beam due to extra cost of the Arc) and due to the limited height of my TV on it's stand, I'm thinking the soundbar would need to sit at the front of this shelf as pictured below. I'd move the Tivo behind the TV and get rid of the DVD player in the pic.Would this cause any issues with sound quality coming from the soundbar at all?TV in the pic is 65”, the width of the shelf as shown is 107cm and there is 7cm behind each of the small posts at either end of the shelf.
I want to listen to all the episodes of a series in BBC Sounds, but can’t find a way of displaying the available episodes or selecting the ones I want. When I select BBC Sounds | Categories | etc, it just gives me one episode and, if I select that, I can’t find a way to choose others. And if I switch to ‘Show in Sounds’ it plays it through my phone rather than my Sonos Port. Can anyone help? Thanks.
Did sonos provide a traking number in Canada. In my account I see preparing to ship and shipped, ???
