Have beam connected to LG tv through arc.we’ll be watching tv and sound is coming through beam and will just randomly switch sound to TV without warning. The volume drops down, so we have to turn it up, and then it’ll eventually just switch back to the beam and become really loud.have tried multiple cables and only conclusion is tv or the beam. Anyone else had this issue?

Recently I've found myself using Bluetooth speakers and more especially Bluetooth headphones to listen to a variety of media sources (particularly Audible).   A relatively simple and flexible process where I can listen on a headset without inflicting the sound on others.Achieving this for Sonos requires an expensive Amp or Connect plus a Bluetooth transmitter - crazy. I guess this rather cumbersome setup could be avoided with the advent of Sonos headphones, but probably only at some exorbitant cost.   Once upon a time, I probably would have stumped up the necessary cash, but if any headphones work only exclusively with Sonos and can't also be used as normal bt headphones, then I'll pass. 

Hi, I have a few Sonos Ports to control in ceiling speakers in different parts of the house. Right now I have a few small amps but would like to consolidate that into one multi zone amp that can control 4 different inputs and outputs independently. Any recommendations on an amp?

Hey all. We dropped our Sonos Move from counter height onto a concrete floor. No cosmetic damage but unsurprisingly, it now sounds terrible.  Does anyone have an idea where I can send it for repair or am I better off buying a new one? Thanks

According to the verge, they claim Sonos is working on a set of new speakers and they look like they are designed to play audio in multiple directions including up for atmos.The Optimo 2 looks like the flagship, a replacement for a Sonos Five, it's big and has drivers for audio in all directions. Then there is a smaller speaker, the Optimo 1 and Optimo 1 SL, these could be designed as smaller home theatre and portable music speakers but with height channels. The new speakers appears have way more RAM and memory than previous models, perhaps indicating Sonos big plans for its new products  https://www.theverge.com/2022/8/24/23319989/sonos-optimo-speaker-features-design

I need to control various Sonos sites from my IOS device.  Works fine until I leave site; using VPN to remote into the site via cellular doesn’t work.  IOS app binds only to Wi-Fi adapter on IOS and doesn’t recognise that I’m routing via the network that Sonos is on.  Anyone found a solution?

Hello Sonos community,  I would like to connect my video projector to a Sonos device, the Sono Beam Gen 2 seems most appropriate with the HDMI. Anyone already tried ? If not, do you recommend another product?  Thank you for your reply and help ;)

I am going to set up a secondary multi room system using Sonos One SL in 3 or 4 rooms.  My main system is a Lyngdorf system which is not multi room. I need to decide whether to buy new Sonos One SL’s or for half the price I could buy secondhand Sonos One (Gen 1).  What are the main differences between them ? It is possible that one of the SL’s could be replaced by a Sonos Five so the same question about Five / Play 5 Thanks

I have several Sonos speakers. I want to reduce the volume of just one speaker. How can is this best done?What I do at the moment on my Andorid app is this:(1) First tap the volume dot for the whole system. This shows the volume settings for each speaker. I often play at a low volume, such as setting number “9” which means there isn’t enough space on the slider to tap to the left of the volume indicator dot.(2) Next I tap to the right of the dot (which increases the volume) and then use the smartphone’s volume control buttons to lower that particular slider’s setting to.That’s a very clumsy way of doing it. Is there a simpler and better way?

Hi, I wired my new build for ceiling speakers. I’ve got 2 sonance in prime position for Atmos surround. The problem is that I don’t know which wire goes to which speaker when plugging them into the Amp. Is there a way to test it? It seems that 1 of them is unresponsive and can’t tell if it’s a wiring issue or Amp issue, 

I have a Connect Gen 2 manufactured in 2018.  Is the sample rate for the analog to digital conversion on the line in 44.1khz? or 48khz?  Is it the same for the Sonos Port?For example if I plugged in a DVD player and the audio output was 16bit 48Khz, would the Connect down sample to 44.1khz?

My main system is in my living room and is not a multi room system and I now want a multi room system for 3 rooms in the rest of the house. I am thinking of buying three One SL’s but need to understand  if they will do all I want.  I have a subscription to Qobuz and a sizeable collection of flac tracks on my PC and want to be able to access these. I also want to be able to play podcasts from my IPad and also listen to radio stations.  I want to create playlists which can be accessed by any speaker I want to be able to play something different through each speaker at the same time.   Will 3 One SL’s be able to do this or will I need to buy a Port as well

Hi all. I ran a S2 Sonosnet-based system in our home for some years with a Boost connected to ethernet on the middle floor of the house. All devices played smoothly and the matrix looked good.A pair of Moves was then purchased for garden use. They set up fine as a Stereo Pair and connected etc... indeed, all seemed well.However once out in the garden the Move unit which was furthest from the house experienced drop outs, freezes and general buggyness. I tried various things with wi-fi boosters and changing the wireless channel etc but to no avail.Finally I reset the entire system and started again, this time omitting the Boost and running the whole thing as a wi-fi setup. Success! - all configured fine and now the stereo pair of Moves in the garden run without issue and I can take them further from the house than before.So my question is this: because the Move relies on wi-fi and not Sonosnest, is it better to use a pure wifi setup for reliable Move performance, rather than one where th

Hello. So I currently have a beam and 2x play ones in my living room. My question is a straight choice between adding a sub the existing set up or swapping the beam for the new arc which I believe is alot more powerful. Either option would be similar in price.If anyone has any thoughts or experience with this any input would be greatly received. Thanks in advance. 

HiI know there have multiple questions similar to mine.  But, not quite the same. So here goes.I have an ageing Onkyo TX-NR1009 AV Receiver and KEF KHT3005SE 7.2 Egg Speakers and wireless subs.  I love my system and it was expensive at the time. In our old house I had wired in and it was sweet. However, we have now moved and It’s pretty much impossible for me run cables to rear positions.  So I’m thinking I maybe buy Sonos to provide coverage to the hard to reach spots.  The way I see it I have a few options.  Even though I don’t know if they are technically possible  They are in my order of preference.Buy Sonos and incorporate it into my existing setup to provide the rear speakers and other awkward positions.  But also use Sonos to playback through my existing speakers Buy Sonos and keep it separate from my existing for either music or TV only. Don’t buy Sonos and find a way to make existing rear speakers wireless - any ideas ? Buy Sonos and dispose of my existing hardware - rather no

i purchased a sonos arc from a us retailer that had a euro power cord in the box. no us cord. can i just cut the euro plug end off and put on a use plug?i am concerned since the unit came with a euro plug that the arc soundbar’s internal power supply wont work on USA AC power

Have a wedding coming up.Have an existing Move.Needed a small system to play via Bluetooth .was told via support that I could use both the Roam as well as the Move together, but not as a Stereo pair to play the same music (Spotify Playlist) through both the Roam and the Move.No wifi will be available on site, will need to be fully blue tooth.TestingController S2 is installed.Configured a “Group” to include the Roam and the Move with Wi-Fi active.Sound Playing in Roam and Move.Knocked down controller to test full blue tooth functionalitybluetooth is activeBoth speakers are connected.Any attempt to share music between the two or to move off WiFi to full Bluetooth connectivity seem to result in either loss of both speakers or the Move.What am I missing?Should I buy another Roam, will that be easier?  (I was told this configuration would work without Wi-Fi,)Any third party applications that facilitate easier configuration? 

I have a Beam 2 which is connected to a Samsung QLED TV.  I also have two B&O Beolab 6000 speakers which, using a dongle,  I can connect via Bluetooth to the TV. The overall sound is actually better using the Beam but I’d like to connect them via Bluetooth to the Beam and use them as surround speakers. Does anyone know if that’s possible or can I only do that using Sonos speakers? 

I have noticed at several stores that are showcasing the arc that the area where the LED is is bulging and the cover around  it is cracked. Just wondering if this is an inherent problem and if anyone here has this happen to their arc? 

Hi everyone  I have a Sonos Roam device since April and I feel that it’s not giving me its best performance since the two last months, the audio drops out or cuts off using Airplay and Bluetooth, it gets unresponsive with Alexa and a really bad behavior using Airplay. After about 3 months the Airplay issue with my Sonos Roam reappeared, the audio is frequently cutting off or pausing with not reason, very frustrating! I’ve got a replacement and this is the second unit that I have, awful! doing so many factory resets, rebooting my router several times,  and reinstalling the controller on my iPhone  didn’t fix my issue, still the error persists, and Alexa sometimes gets unresponsive if I ask for music or some other commands, answering with any error, the audio cuts off or simply stops working, sometimes rebooting my speaker works, but sometimes not. My Wifi signal is pretty good, so, I suspect my unit has a firmware issue, with all other devices I don’t have Wifi issues, so I think it has

My Arc has no output for headphones. 😥Is there a device available to passthrough the eARC from my LG TV to the Arc that provides audio extraction to a headphone jack or optical or even RCA stereo? The TV CEC/Simplink is preventing the use of the optical TV output for headphones.

Sony BRAVIA X90J TV audio output is not locking to the level control of the Sonos Sound bar Beam and sub. They get out of sync. 

Hi,I recently bought a second Sonos roam which I love. However I’m concerned about security & privacy.  I was listening to music using my iPhone which  was connected to my Sonos roam via Bluetooth. Frustratingly my neighbour was able gain unauthorised access and mess around with the volume and the play / pause button remotely without my permission.  He does not have access to my Wi-Fi and we are not acquaintances.  How has he gained access to control my Sonos speaker? Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening again?  Many thanks in advance
