Feature request: Add Dolby Atmos logo to Mac/Windows app for songs that are in the mentioned format. 

Using the S2 app on Win11, I don’t see any mechanism for doing basic care and feeding of my Sonos system.  All I see is essentially a glorified music player.In particular, I would like to control the balance, but cannot find a control to do that.

I’m looking at purchasing the Pro-Ject T1 turntable and would like it to play on my current Sonos system in the home - I have the move, ray, one SL (x3) all grouped.  I see that I can purchase a set, the Pro-Ject T1 turntable and five. the question I have is, if I buy the turntable and the five, will this link into my current system and play across all speakers? the other question is, do I need the five, if not what else would I need to have the turntable play across my current system  thanks in advance   

Who else is sitting in this boat with my lame butt? Lol. Was unable to get stands for these things. Much larger than I imagined so sitting on end tables isn't happening (and not positioned optimal either with this option. I just do not get why everything they launch a new product, there is never enough stands. They sound great sitting on make shift stacks to test them, but will be getting packed up until I can get stands (anyone who is married gets this). Again I just don't get how they are never ready for the stand demand every single time. 

I have a set of Spatial Audio (Dolby Atmos) compatible speakers: an Arc, 2 x Era 300s and a Sub.When I read various articles, I get the sense that the only way to play Spatial Audio from Apple Music is via the Sonos S2 app, and that it won’t be lossless. Is that right?If one plays from the Apple Music app (iOS or OSX) over AirPlay 2 to these devices, I further get the sense believe that the music won’t be Spatial Audio (or lossless). Is that right?

Our band performs regularly at a small club that has a multi-room Sonos system installed for recorded music when the band is not playing. The system sounds really great - loud, clean, excellent coverage of the venue. Our own PA speakers are high end, but they are too loud up front and not loud enough in the back, always a challenge. I would like to patch a line level output from our band’s mixer into the Sonos system when we play. Exactly what would I need to do that? Club owner is hesitant - he seems to think we could harm his setup. He has not told me exactly what Sonus gear he has. All I know is that he controls it all from his phone, and it is high end. We could run a cable to his central Sonos device assuming that it has a line level in… or we could go wireless - I believe Sonus has a device, or we could transmit over wi-fi with a non-Sonus receiver by his central device.Any advice without knowing his exact gear? Hello everyone from Rome :-)I write because I need the experts of this wonderful brand!I have a full system with Arc + Sub(Gen3) + One, I only watch movies with 4K discs and Playstation 5.I would like to understand if the addition of the Era300 gives me something more about the Atmos, given that the Arc itself already has speakers that go upwards for the Atmos effect.Does buying the Era300 increase the atmos effect? So I would have the Arc + Era300 atmos speakers?Thanks to everyone for the precious advices!

Hi. I just purchased by first Sonos SL, i set it up but i cannot find Apple Music in Sonos services. i checked the country settings, i uninstalled and reinstalled Sonos, i signed out and in from my apple subscription account ..  What else can it be? it is getting very frustrating..

P****D OFF CUSTOMER HERE!!!I got 2 ea ERA 100 and 2 ea ERA 300 for a SURROUND SOUND system, well guess what they dont wokr togther with ARC, I was told by a rep yes all good and will work, so I preordered and waited weeks.   Get them today and well the 100 and 300 DO NOT DO SURROUND SOUND TOGETHER, so I call Sono and for a SURROUND sound you need to have either 4 ea ERA 100 or 4 ea ERA 300 - YOU CAN NOT MIX AND MATCH THEM - LIKE REALLY WTF!!!!  How lame a$$ stupid is that!!!!!!! Wasted time and money!!!!

I have an Audio Technica 120-USB turntable with its own pre-amp that I would like to connect to either a Sonos 5 stereo pair or Sonos Era 100 through the new USB-C connection. Can I connect the turntable to the Sonos 5 or Sonos Era 100 on the left side and have it play in stereo with the matching speaker on the right side of my bookcase.  Also, will the turntable sound, once connected to a Sonos Speaker be listenable by streaming to my Sonos Arc in my other main room? Assuming the turntable is connected on the left side speaker, can I then connect a CD changer to the matching Sonos speaker on the right side through the direct USB-C input and if so, will the CDs play in stereo through both speakers.  Therefore, when I turn on the CD player, will the Sonos speakers in the room recognize the unit and play, and then, when I turn on the turntable in stead, will the same speakers recognize the turntable through the connection.  Will the CD player connection also stream to my Sonos Arc in my

Replace my Sonos Gen one ( pair) with a pair of Era 100. Really pleased with the new speakers. Worth the upgrade in my opinion. The setup was not straightforward. Initially used my phone to set up the first speaker only to have an error message ‘ another App using airplay’ Could not work that out so I used my iPad. All went OK.  There was an issue with Alexa in that I couldn’t get Alexa to work with the new speakers. Seems that was my fault for trying to add the new speakers with the same room name I used on the Sonos ones. Changed the room name and all was well.  Overall I am impressed with the pair of Era 100. They sound terrific as a stereo pair.

I’m looking for advice on how i might improve my current system and if indeed changes will improve it.  Not able to finance multiple upgrades so need to do in phases. I’m looking at Phase 1 purchase this Easter, phase 2 next year. i currently have a Sonos amp to wing I’ve connected a Pro-Ject turntable and Terri stand alone 1990’s Polk speakers. These act as the front right and left speakers.  The surround speakers are two Sonos Fives in a vertical position so confused for stereo sound. My question I guess is what can I add to this system to make it really sound better?1: Will adding a Soundbar really make a difference, if so is the Arc the best choice?  2: Is that Preferable to adding a Sonos sub woofer, which one?3: What should i prioritise for phase 1, Soundbar or sub woofer?4: Even though i love the old Polks would the system be better enhanced by replacing them as front speakers with speakers from Sonos? Would i be better served by moving existing Fives to replace Polks and buying

Hi all, I recently moved into a house with existing wired ceiling speakers right above the TV unit and I already own an ARC, SUB and two Ones as surround. Is it possible to hook two speakers to the SONOS system? Would that be an overkill for what I already have? Thanks

Hi Sonos fan,I am currently testing in the Sonos apps, Amazon music and Apple music, in order to later choose one of the two for a permanent subscription.I test both with the same song, (Flowers from Miley Cyrus). With Amazon music, the Dolby Atmos logo is there and the sound starts on the Arc soundbar.With Apple music, if the sound comes directly to the iPad, the Dolby Atmos logo is there, but when I change the destination on my Sonos system, the Dolby Atmos logo disappears and the song starts on the two One SL speakers behind me.So I wonder if Dolby Atmos with Apple music wouldn't be compatible with Sonos, but only in stereo mode?It is curious to note that the same song is broadcast in different ways on my sonos system (Arc SL, two One SL, Sub gen 3), with amazon mainly on the arc, and with apple, mainly on the two one sl . Thanks

I have a pair of Era 300s in my bedroom. While there is an option in the app to turn off the main indicator light, the only way to turn off the microphone (voice services) indicator light is to turn off the microphone.Given that even dim lights can be annoying when sleeping (and the latest research suggest dark bedrooms are preferable), it would be good to be able to turn off the light via the app but keep the microphone on.

can i pair Era 300 with my existing Sub3 and a pair of Play5s(gen2)

 Guys the sofa cannot be moved.Should I get two SYMFONISK Frames and mount them on the rear wall, or should I get two Era 100 or One SL and place them on the side?Assuming I will do a Trueplay Tuning in either senario.

Since my iPod Touch is no longer supported, which iOS device should I buy to run TruePlay?I don’t use Apple and got the Touch just to run TruePlay and it served me well but once again I’m back asking Apple folks what I should be looking for. Hi All Im looking at getting the new Sonos Era 100 and im new to all of this.I will set it up using my phone but my question is can it work from a set devise like a firestick, android box etc so when im out the Wife and the kids can still ask Alexa to play certain things. What’s the best way that i can make it housefamily friendly. Like i said im new to this and looking at getting the house eventually Sonos throughout. Thanks

Hi All, I’ve seen several threads re the mute issue with the Beam, but understood that updates would resolve it. We have just bought the new Beam and every time we turn off the TV with the remote, it mutes the bar. If I use the Beam through the Snons App, it is muted to start (from turning off the TV) but when I stop the music, it stays at that volume. It’s not too much of an inconvenience, now that I know what is happening, but I’d like to know why it is defaulting to mute every time.

EDIT: I proofread the text, but obviously not the title: “Peel SONOS lettering off Roam grille?” First, I’ve been looking through the forums here and have seen all kinds of issues with the Roam, and I’m happy to say that mine has been working flawlessly. I’m pretty thrilled with it, and I’m thinking about getting a second to stereo-pair .Forgive my possibly sacrilegious question, but I have to ask it:I want to peel off / remove the white S O N O S  lettering from the front of my Roam unit. Why, you may ask? I have this thing about labels. This one is pretty nice, as they go, but in the long run I’d rather not have to see those white letters every single time I glance at the speaker. Some of you will understand.Has anyone attempted this? I don’t want to screw up the grille appearance in any way. Not sure if they were glued on, and what the cosmetic result would be after an attempt to surgically remove them.Any feedback would be appreciated, even if you’re reading this months from now. I

Hey, I‘m looking to buy a home theater surround system (basically a Beam and 2 Era 100s). I want to know, if I can connect the whole system to my iPad or MacBook, which streams the movie to a wired projector. Edit: The iPad/MacBook both support AirPlay 2. Thanks in advance for your response ! 

Hi all, I've got a pair of Sonos Fives that I'd like to buy stands for. I have a toddler so the speaker needs to be fixed to the stand in some way in case it gets a bump. A heavy base would be good also but I can work around this.I've seen the Flexson stands but they're very expensive here in Australia (approx $400AUD each) and also Sanus but these don't appear to have anything that holds the speaker to the stand.What stand are you using and would you recommend it?

I’ve just gotten my dad’s old music setup and am really excited to get it all set up. He’s passed along his turntable and amp, both just over 20 years old and in great condition. The only thing I don’t have is a speaker. I’m looking to get started with the Sonos Era 300, but I wanted to see how people connect their older devices to current Sonos products. Currently, I’m thinking it’s: connect the turntable to the amp, connect the amp to my analog-to-digital converter, and connect the converter to the Sonos speaker. Is there something I’m missing? I’m really not looking to replace anything; I just want to be sure I have the right pieces to press play and enjoy some music.
