Hey folks, I’m currently planning out the setup for our new yoga/fitness studio and hope to get some feed back from you. Status QuoThe room is quite big, 10m x 10m, with 3,70m ceilings. Only one pillar in the middle. RequirementMost of the classes will be quite with ambient music only, but some of them will be HIIT-bodyweight workouts. Therefore it should be a louder to motivate them, so a little bit of power is needed.  ThoughtsI was thinking of putting Fives in every corner at almost max height, vertical, facing down. Even duh I’m using UniFi AP Pro in the main room, I’m thinking of going ethernet to each Five. The Sub can be placed in the center back or on the sides in the back. On the picture you can see the yogamats facing  QuestionsIs this even enough? Do I need more? Another Sub? Shall I put some Era100 in the middle of the room on the pillar facing outwards?  Do we need more Subs? Am I using the wrong products completly?  Floorplan Thank you very much in advance! 

“sonos controller installer failed to download. lost connection with server”I realize this has been an ongoing bug with the Sonos Controller S2 app for years, It started after the release of the S2 version. I’m just wondering if Sonos support will ever try to resolve the problem. The workaround continues to be to download the latest controller app, install it, then run the Update Now to push updates to the devices. This same problem occurs on any of the three PCs I run the controller from. 

I have Sonos everywhere in the house and one room has an old Bose lifestyle surround sound system with 5 speakers and sub. I have a Sonos port and if I turn the Bose on, change to the right input, I can play Sonos.  but it’s the only room in the house that doesn’t just turn on. I have to go into the room and turn on the Bose system first with the remote, wait for it to boot up, then switch the input.  it’s a hassle. Anyone know of a better way if I keep the Bose?

Setup:  LG OLED C2 TV + Arc SL + two One SL surroundsProblem:  Within 2 seconds of changing sound output from the Arc SL to the TV Speakers, automatic return to the Arc SL.Sonos App → TV Autoplay → OFF No other external devices to simplify debugging Unable to disable SIMPLINK (HDMI-CEC) on TV.   Automatically Turns ON within 2 seconds of turning OFFWorkaround:  Pull power cord off the Arc SL and then switch sound output on TV 

I have a problem with one of the Sonos One speakers, I press the touch button on the microphone but it doesn't turn on the light or work, I have reset it several times but it has stopped working, does anyone know how to fix it? Thank you

I want to search from my music library for all songs lets say from 1980s.I am sure you are all familiar with the below / attached screen shot.I am aiming to decide which album to play based on the year. So it would list something like 1988, 1989, 1990 etc.I would then like to be able to drill down on Year » Year date» Album Artist » Album or something similar to that just like you can currently drill down on Genre » Genre type » Album Artist » Album.Which would allow me to pick an artist/ album from the year I selected. Are there any options available other than restructuring my whole library structure to create sub folders based on year and then using the Folder drill down?If not, how can I direct this feature towards Sonos Dev team / Product Owner to consider for a future release?

I do not want to do either of these things. I just spent over three hours making a 54-song playlist, and I want it played in order, NOT shuffled.I chose “play, even though it was grayed out (because there was no other choice) instead of the shuffle symbol above my playlist. But when the playlist went into the left-hand column to play, it automatically rearranged all 54 songs. This happens to ALL of my playlists; I have no control over it. But this one I wanted in order. Now it’s all jumbled up.

I am new to forum. The basics about my system- I have two 100’s and two 1’s in room. All my music is in the format of mp3s on Amazon Music. First, I’ve followed manual to the letter about setup, and am wondering if there is anything about “four in one” that might be helpful. Second, and most importantly, I’m getting noticeable distortion when listening to some classical tracks- but only orchestral music and not solo piano or jazz and rock. I’ve had a friend listen and she hears it also, so it’s not just me. I’m wondering if the distortion has anything to do a frequency problem, given that orchestral (strings, basically) sounds probably differ from others that aren’t affected. Thanks for any suggestions. Beam Gen 2 with LG C1 and Firestick 4k Max. Firestick is plugged into TV and the Beam Gen 2 is connected to the TV eArc port. Everything set to passthrough. I think all is set up correctly as some streams are fine. The problem I have is the Beam (according to the App) is detecting some streams as DD+ even though I’m pretty sure they are Atmos. Any suggestions?

I have 2 Play 5 (Gen: 2) in stereo with a sub gen 3 for lots of punch. But I figured out, that when I change the volume on my left speaker it doesn’t change on the sub, so if you put it on 10% in the app then to 0 on the speaker, both of the speakers will go quiet but the sub still plays the song  That doesn’t happen on the right speaker or the app Not a major annoyance for me, but interesting and something someone should look into

I am not new to home theater, but I am new to Sonos.  We having a custom build started and I will be meeting with the low voltage supplier in a couple of weeks and I am trying to see what Sonos system would work for my needs.  In the loft upstairs (22’x18’), we will have a TV on one wall and a sofa on the opposite wall.  What Sonos system would work best for that room?  We are also thinking about having a few other Sonos speakers around the house so I want to know what’s a good setup to have Airplay2 added in the system as well.  Thanks in advance! 

I have created two groups. Once I am playing some radio station in one group, how can I switch to the other group to 1) see (and change) the radio station 2) change the volume of this group?

New to Sonos after buying the Arc.  I read the instructions on speech enhancement, where it’s required to choose “Now Playing” when engaging in the app.  But do you have to set speech enhancement on individual channels, or does the setting remain the default for all channels or streaming services after selecting it? 

HIMesh Networks do work with Sonos as long as you choose components designed to work as a Mesh. Let me explain….The PRIMARY function of a Mesh network is to extend the coverage of your Wi-Fi across your home wherein a single router fails to do so. A Mesh network properly configured should consist of a Primary Router (Main Node) connected to your ISP modem. If the ISP modem is a combo router/modem then it should be set to Bridge mode.The device or devices used to extend the network are called Satellites (Secondary Nodes). The nodes used to extend the network should be of the same brand/model designed to work as such for the best performance. The secondary nodes can be full blown routers themselves; but when used as secondary nodes cease to function in the same manner as the Main node. Devices of a different brand/model can be used as secondary nodes as long as they are certified for compatibility to be used as such with the brand of your Primary router/Main node. I have two ERA 300’s set up in my large basement. I was thinking of getting a sub mini wireless subwoofer as they are on sale but want to make sure it will improve the sound. 

Hello,I currently have 2 era 100 in my living room (30m²). I want to expand this setting. I wonder whether it would be better to opt for 2 extra era 100 or adjust 1 sub mini. I only use them for music. Tim

I have an old URC System and a house with wired speakers in different rooms. I want to bypass the URC System and just use Sonos and attach the wired speakers in different rooms multiple zones and be able to control and listen to different music at the same time in those rooms.
