I have Trueplay setup, but I also would like a second sound profile. I notice when I manipulate the EQs, it affects my Trueplay sound. Is there a way to have one profile be just Trueplay and the other a completely different sound profile?

Do all wireless speakers require a plug in to a wall outlet for power.    Are there any battery options and if so how do they perform

My twelve year old daughter has discovered vinyl and we’d like to get a turntable. We have the FIVES with the SUB. Can anyone share a good turntable we could get and how to connect it to the system? Thanks for your help!

I have a stereo pair of two Fives at one end of a large open living and dining area.  At the opposite end of the space is an open kitchen, and I would like to improve the sound on the kitchen end of the space. Does it make sense to add a single Era 300 in the kitchen?  Thank you! 

Please Help sonos desktop speakers????I have 2 sonos play:1 (convert the ethernet ports to 3.55mm) ??and one Sons one A100can these be used to create a desktop speaker system with windows 11or could I achieve this with the sonos ZP80additionally could I use 2 sonos Gen2s and achieve the goalbasically what is the easiest way to create a sonos desktop system. with the stuff I haveany help appreciated???

When trying to install my product, there is no problem when installing with ethernet, but when trying to install with wifi, I see the product after entering the wifi password, I get a failed to connect error.It says to make sure there is 802.11bg/n type routing, but I have a new modem and I specifically looked and my routing is correct.Can anyone help me if they have this problem?

Hi - I have three pairs of ceiling speakers with one amp for the kitchen and rooms directly connected to them. Currently in the kitchen the speakers are about 6 feet apart. My question is - is that too close? What issues arise if the speakers are too close to each other? 

Hi -We have a multi-room setup (rooms close together) that operates mostly as one living area but I’d like to have the option of turning one room’s volume down occasionally.Our setup is three pairs of Sonance ceiling speakers and one Sonos amp. The wires in the ceiling are in a series with just one wire feeding back to the amp. Therefore separate amps means opening walls back up and I’d like to avoid this.I heard that impedance matching volume controls is an option. However, can I just tie one control to one pair and leave the others without the matching volume control? Basically I’d use it for the dining room and can turn that room down while leaving the other two rooms at normal volume.Lastly, the other question is whether I can pair two ceiling speakers (not in the dining room) with another Sonos portable speak for the dining room and therefore could either turn it down or off if needed. Thanks for your help!

HelloOne of my two SL1 speakers will not connect to my home network via WiFi.Things I have tried.Disconnect Speaker from power 2+ minutes. Disconnect speaker and router then power router back up and then speaker back up  Disconnected all my Sonos products in the room as it was the whole room setup w/multiple other Sonos products Step 2 again but with all Sonos products included in the set up  Also did all this based on the app T.S. Instructions  In the app I removed said speakers from current set up and then tried adding them back  oh and did all this multiple times as well  Haaalp please and thank you!!!!

I’ve recently moved to a new ISP, Heybroadband, which offers full fibre 2.4g and 5g WiFi. I am struggling to get my Sonos one’s to connect to the new network. Any ideas? I keep going round in circles with the app seeing the WiFi accepting the password but then saying the network was not joined help appreciated s 

Hi all.  I have just moved some of my Sonos Play1 speakers back to my home from my recreation home.  They are on the same router they were before I had moved them initially.  At my other home they were running on S1 but I am trying to set them up on S2.  Here is what I have tried unsuccessfully:Download S2 app under my existing accountReset Play 1 per instructionsFollow all set up instructionsI have tried both with wifi and hard wired to my router.  The Play 1 seems to go through all the motions with light turning green etc. but in the end it tells me connection unsuccessful and no more help :).  It also isn’t registering my Play 1 with my account.  It seems to me like an issue of it trying to use my other router but I have even tried hard wiring to my router.I am wondering if I should set up a separate SONOS account but haven’t tried that.Thanks for reading and hopefully one of you veteran SONOS folk can help out.PS:The router I am using in my new home is an ActionTek, same as in my o

Hi,So I can play tracks on Spotify to my Sonos Symfonisk speakers no problems. However, on the Sonos app I get the error message 701. Have turned off router etc but nothing. Incidentally, the error also occurs on the Phonos paid for Windows app.

I recently purchased an Era 100, am super excited to upgrade from my current Play but the rest of my house (5 devices) is S1.It doesn’t appear that I can downgrade the firmware on the Era to be S1 compatible, and only can use the S2 controller software (which weirdly couldn’t find the thing, though the S1 software did).This might be ok, except I need the Era to sync to the music being played on the rest of the devicesCan you please tell me how to sync this player to my current S1 system?  Obviously replacing the entire S1 system isn’t an option.Thanks,

Hi all, I have just recently switched provider and they have issued me with a new mesh statement , up till then all my Sonos system has been working fine. The only system that is having issues is the play 3.  I have tried on several occasions to set up the system and I keep getting the same message that it wants to connect to a temporary network. I seem to be going round in circles here, any ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance Andy

My sonons speaker works now only with Ethernet cable after ISP changed the router, I did couple of reset same issue, error 1000

I recently change routers and internet provider service from Xfinity to Verizon 5G. As I was reconnecting my various Sonos equipment items, and all came back online except one. I have a Sonos Five on top of our wall cabinets in the kitchen, and the new router is one floor below, maybe 50’ away. I was able to completely reboot the Five speaker, and it would work temporarily, but for only 3-4 min. I did this two times. I’ve also unplugged it and attempted to have the system find it, but that was never successful.  Any ideas? 

Good morningQuite mysteriously, my sonos player:3 refuses to work... it is no longer found or not connected (even though I haven't changed anything to my previous system)! I have tried every manipulation possible and imaginable…I removed the sonos bridge, which I had had for over 10 years and which has endured 3 moves!Nothing works... Do you have a tip?Otherwise, my system had two functions:- Listen to mescd which are all on my pc- Listen to the radioIf I have to change my system, which product (simple and not too expensive!) should I choose?Thank you in advance for your helpJean Marc

I constantly get error 30 when trying to update my ERA 300 - this is the first installation/setup, so I have been unable to use the speaker. Have followed all the SONOS support guidance, even replaced the speaker with vendor, but same issue

I purchased two Era 100s to create a stereo pair and connect to my iMac for computer audio. I purchased the line in adapter. Audio via line in is incredibly quiet. I went to the line in settings and set level to “mac computer”, and that barely helped. I finally set level to 10 (the highest available) but even with my iMac volume set to max, it was a very quiet sound coming from the speakers.I switched to Wi-Fi connection, and the audio was super loud, so I know it’s not an issue with the speakers themselves.How can I increase the audio volume for line in from my iMac?

I have 3 x SONOS Play 1. I’d gone off SONOS for about 18 months and not used it as I found it too glitchy and didn’t like that you couldn’t play many Podcasts through it.I was delighted when I realised it has been integrated with Audible and BBC Sounds so I decided to set it back up again. As I have recently moved I did a factory reset on all the Play 1s so I could do a fresh set up on a new router etc.After what seemed like an age and a real hassle I managed to get it set up on my and my wife’s phone with both our Audible, BBC and Spotify accounts, success……However, when I came to use it the net day I opened the app and got an “unable to connect to Sonos. Let’s fix it” message. After following the instructions, no I haven’t changed my network settings, un-plugging all the SONOS and my router it fails to get back on the system.I’ve re-tried setting it up again both with and without doing a factory reset, it seems like each time I get it set up then re-open the app I get the same messag

I have a new pair ERA100, set up as a stereo pair with a sub-mini, and have the following two problems:-No 1: Playing music in more than one zone, the pair sometimes drop out of the group unexpectedly. They can be added back immediately and without any problem (issues like this in the distant past have been “networky”, and the missing zone had lost its connection to the Sonos network and would not add back without some hassle).Could this be related to a keyboard shortcut that drops a zone from a group? I am not sure, but it seems to happen when I am typing on the keyboard of the Windows computer with the S2 client.I am not in the Sonos software when typing and this cause/effect may be my imagination.No 2: Whether grouped with other zones, or playing on their own the right speaker sometimes goes dead. It is still showing up as a device in the software settings, but unplugging the mains seems to be the only way to make it pair back up. It ha#e only happened with one of the pair.ERA100 ca

I have purchased a Project T1 BT deck and assumed it would connect via Bluetooth to my Sonos Beam and Sub wirelessly. The Bluetooth switch is on but it won’t connect. Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong or if I need a preamp?Thanks, Luke
