Hi, After a factory reset, I have successfully installed a Sonos Play:1 in wireless mode using the Sonos app 2 (I had initially tried with the Sonos app1 and it said my Sonos speaker version wasn’t supported). When I tried to install the second (also after factory reset), I couldn’t do it. I had to connect it to the Ethernet cable, and even though I was successful at connecting it to the network, I could not then get it registered. I looked into the settings details and the first speaker shows as WN1 and the second one shows as WN0. I have tried going into « manage my networks » to switch my second speaker to a wireless network but it won’t even let me click on the tab because apparently this version of the app doesn’t support my Sonos product. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
The “S” has fallen off my Move 2, so it just says “SONO” and a little glue mark, can you get replacement letters form anywhere?
Looking for some help please. I have two One speakers in my restaurant as stereo. They work via my iPad on AirPlay. What’s happened for a few days now is that the volume on all apps (Apple Music app, Spotify and sonos) is automatically adjusting itself back to about 10% on the volume bar. Regardless of where you put the volume it snaps back to about 10%. It’s infuriating and despite being around 10% you can’t hear anything. I’ve seen some articles about overheating but they’re not hot. I’ve also seen articles about software updates but the speakers seem up to date (the Sonos app doesn’t offer updates) and my iOS is up to date. I will also mention volume settings such as ones that won’t let it go above a certain level are turned off. if anybody has a remedy for this I would be thrilled. Thanks Moderator edit: changed “Bluetooth” to “AirPlay” for clarity
I currently utilize a Google Wifi mesh network with three hardwired nodes strategically placed throughout my house. Working remotely with my wife, the Wi-Fi coverage in our home has been consistently reliable without any previous internet-related issues.Recently, I acquired a set of Sonos Era 100 speakers and configured them in Stereo mode within my living room. However, I've encountered poor Airplay quality. The music streaming keeps cutting off and sometimes just one of the speakers works.I'm reaching out because I have confidence in Sonos products, and I'm curious if there might be a compatibility issue between Google Wifi and Sonos Airplay for music streaming.Prior to seeking assistance here, I exhaustively explored potential issues with my Wi-Fi network, including placing both speakers in close proximity to the Wi-Fi access point. I can confirm that the Wi-Fi connection throughout the house is impeccable, boasting a robust signal strength. Additionally, I use an iPhone 15 with the
I had four Play 1's on an S2 system, and recently acquired two Play 5's, which I had on a separate S1 system. Everything worked fine until I tried to Reset the Play 1's and add to the S1 system. Not sure, but I may have missed a step before deleting the S2 app. I have one Play 1 connected to router via network cable (I'm adding them one at a time) while the S1 system searches for it to add. S1 finds the Play 1, but the only options I get are "Review your options" and "About downgrading to S1". I view both "Review" and "About", but then see no option to continue. Solutions appreciated!
Hello! I recently purchased a used play 5 (gen 1) to use with my current play 1. I was able to setup the play 5 on the S1 controller without issue. I have downgraded my current play 1 to be compatible with the S1 controller but I keep getting ‘product not found’ in the S1 controller app. The play 1 is blinking green, any ideas why the controller cannot find this product?
Currently enjoying my living room music via two fives grouped with a beam and two ones. The sound is deep and rich but will a Sub improve it further given I have the two fives in the set up?
I’m new to the chat thing….i have a mesh system for internet in my home…half of the speakers drop off every morning at startup….so damn annoying….I have a pair of Era 300s a pair of Fives and a Sub…..Sonos checked the system out via their system in California, they claim it’s seamless and checks out good on their end…any suggestions for how to fix this problem…? Thanks, Ben
My beam has an alarm with a radio station playing every weekday at 6am. I’m sure that I set up the alarm using my iphone a long time ago but I’m unable to determine which app or platform I set it up with and so I can’t turn it off. I’ve checked the Sonos app, google assistant, Alexa, Siri, the radio station app and I’ve turned off every alarm I could find on my iphone but it still plays the same radio station every weekday at 6am.I don’t think it’s an issue with Sonos but I’m wondering if it’s possible to determine the source of the alarm through a diagnostic or by other means.
If my neighbor doesn’t like my music I have to go to Sonos and create new password and email
HiI just sold my 3 Sonos One SL and want to remove them from the Sonos application. What can I do?Thank in advance
Hi, I have a question regarding my play 5 gen 1. After moving the play speaker cannot connect with the new wifi. The white led keeps flashing, also incase of the reset (mute button + power cord plugging in ). After this I connected it successfully with a ethernet cable to my network, after about 20 seconds of test playing Spotify it lost the ethernet connection. Now, trying to reconnect, the ethernet lights on the rear stay off. I already tried several cables but no luck. Did anyone have this same problem (and hopefully solution :-)) ? the reset nor wifi still doesn't work either, only the white flashing led...
Anyone know why every single update I have to run twice we because of a a fail/try again error, and then the second time fails, shows a disconnected sub (using arc, sub and 300 surrounds), but then when checking the app, the latest update is there and appears everything is working. These are the screens I get for the first and second fail.
I am trying to link my sonos one with google or alexa and can not get it to work.Below is the latest message I am getting. Please can someone tell me where on the sonos app I find the “more" button or the settings button….. Update I have found the account settings, but can't see how to link speakers to my email address.... Thanks Register your speakersYou need to link speakers to your emailaddress Sonos account before you can add this skill.Open the Sonos app on a mobile device, and go to More > Settings > Account Settings. (If you don't see Sonos Account, your Sonos system needs an update.)
Is there any way I can switch off notification sounds in Era 100, i.e. of a succsessful bluetooth connection? It’s really irritating (and for some reason it triggers my dog). I know if the connection was sucessful anyway - I can see it on my app and there the light is indicating it.
setting a pair of Ones and Sub to the lowest volume via the app (1) is still too loud. any way to set lower?
Can you separately control volume of each speaker in same room.?Arc → eras → sub
I have two One SL’s running on wireless. Both connected to the same router and on the 2.4ghz channel. The cast button within the Pandora app has disappeared. Pandora within the Sonos app still works. Downloaded Spotify and it casts to either device. The cast button appears and is functional if I power down either One SL. I’ve rebooted everything and did factory resets on both units.
I have tried resetting with fast forward/pause button and join button neither effect speaker. I am trying to move it into another room
I have purchased the Era 300 but sonos won't let me set it up up due to an update required on the system. It says my play 5 is incompatible I think it's missed some updates as I have had it switched off for six months. I can't remove update the play five I get error 30. I have tried updating with network cable still not working I'm stuch help would be much appreciated.
I have at least 12 sonos products and when they work it’s lovely, but really they are so glitchy it’s really annoying, I presume you’ve used the industry standard of premeditated obsolescence well you’ve lost me in future.
always issues when connecting my barely used Play 3. I have absolutely no problem with Bose: none...Sonos...Oh! for goodness sake…. I have tried delating the old App and downloading a new one. Tried everything a seventy year old technophobe can do ...it’s beyond meThis whole issue of connecting is utterly clunky. Sonos get your perishing act together!!!!! Waste of money!
I have the original Sonos (Gen 1?) and have a sonos Beam. I do not have any Sonos 2 products but have just bought bought a pair of Ikea Symfonisk speakers (104.873.07) which turn out to be gen 2 speakers. (which was not clear on their website) any way I can use these or do I need to return them?
CAN NOT connect the BT between Symfonisk and my projector at: https://he.aliexpress.com/i/1005005951612762.html
