I am upgrading my Sonos One stereo pair to a pair of Era 100s. I currently point my Sonos ones slightly towards the center listening area (i.e. slightly in towards one another). Should I do the same with the Era 100s or have them facing directly straight out into the room? I couldn’t find any guidance on this in the user guide.

Thanks in advance!

Such things are best assessed by trying out alternatives and seeing what sounds best - in this case best would mean that when a stereo source is played, the music should seem to come from between the two speakers with some illusion of width across as if different music instruments or singers were placed on a stage in front of you. What you do not want is sound appearing to come from each speaker and nothing at all from between the two speakers.
