I have 2x one’s, beam (gen 1) and a move (gen1)
can I group ( not pair ) a Era 100
also would a connect (gen 2) improve my sound quality?

As long as you are using the S2 app with all of your speakers, you can group the Era 100 with them.

The DAC, is it worth it? Will it improve the sound?
Are you planning on connecting aux sources to the Era 100, and wondering if the Connect is better for external sources? If that’s your question, then no.

What are you connecting to the Connect’s output?
The DAC chip in an Era 100 would be ‘newer’ than the older chip in a CONNECT. On the other hand, there should be zero difference in the data output of either.
