I’m not sure which is worse, the customer service at Sonos or the incompatible app that they ask you to download. What a ******* joke this company is! Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.

I’ve got the latest app and my play5 gen 2 will not register. Each time I attempt to register the device th app just crashes. I’ve tried this both on my iPad and iPhone. I also factory reset the play5.any ideas?tried speaking with someone in Sonos but queue times are ridiculous!

I just bought a second hand Play 3 (1st gen).I factory reseted it and setup went well.I can play music on it using Sonos app but I don’t see my speaker in my Airplay list on my iPhone.What am I doing wrong?I see my Beam speaker in the living room. Thanks guys!

How can I change from a streamed service to line-in? I have attached both a CD player and turntable to my Era 100s. I want to group other rooms but it is impossible to find how with new app.The new app is one of the least user friendly apps ever designed.

Does anyone else have to reboot their systems multiple times during the month? I use my products for the sole purpose of listening to music throughout the whole house while doing chores or working out. Every few days, multiple speakers cut in and out, requiring me to go to each speaker and unplug and plug it back in. If this is the future, help me get back to the past. This is the most monotonous way of enjoying music and the least enjoyable experience for a whole-house music system. I've reached the point where I've reverted back to using my phone and earbuds to have the listening experience I thought I was investing in with Sonos. Just fix the problem or make it possible to reboot the system from the app.

I find Sonos App just keeps ‘losing’ my system. I have to reset the beam, the sub, the router and by fluke it connects. A few hours later I have to repeat which is  insane. Now I bypass Sonos app and just connect via Spotify which has no issues finding Sonos. Anyone else experiencing this?

Sonos App on IPhone and IPad goes through all steps while setting up using Wi-Fi. At the end of setup process, the screen reads “Adding Play:3 to Den.” It remains on that screen. Attempted several times using several devices. Will not advance beyond that screen. Works fine when adding using Ethernet but I need to use Wi-Fi. 

In addition to all the issues that have been identified with the new app (unable to edit the queue etc) another problem is that if you have created stereo pairs (paired speakers) it is no longer possible to balence them (as in make one louder than the other). There is still a rudimentary EQ function (bass/treble) but it is no longer possible to balance speaker pairs. Super-annoying.

I just sold my Sonos playbase.i hidden it from my system but, the man who bought it says he cannot connect because it still owns to my system.what should i do to let him free using my Sonos? thanks marco

I can see and start setup on my two One SLs, but the will not register to system. I have rebooted everything and cannot get the registration to complete… help

Since the recent update all my IOS apps are playing audio through my Sonos speakers. I do not want this. How can I turn this off???

Hello,Yesterday my Play 3 was working fine as usual. Then we moved it outside as we have done many times before. Now it's not working.The status at this moment is:Play 3 is not registered.When I try to do it, the message is "Unable to add Play 3 to the system, try again later."The following things are tested:Wiring the device with a network cable. Moving it closer to the router; I have a mesh Unify network so it's very stable. Resetting the device to factory settings. Trying to use a different phone to add it.Need some help, thank you. 

I recently moved to the UK from the Netherlands. when I set up my sub after the move, the lights come on for about half a minute and then go off and the pairing process stops there. I have rebooted whilst pressing the “pair” button but the sub stills disconnects after about half a minute. what can I do to reconnect the sub to the system 

Does anyone know if the Crosley C100BT turntable is compatible with and able to connect to the Sonos Era 300 speakers?

My speakers will appear on the list but when I try to add it says “unable to add try again later"

Hi,I have tree homes. In the different locations I have Sonos 2.0 compatible units, and S1. At the moment I have two accounts. For no good reason. But my question is, in a perfect installation with tree locations and old and new systems, how should I group them?Two accounts, with S1 in one, again in tree locations, and one account with all tree locations S2 units. Or: One account with all S1:s and all S2:s.My wishes is to without hassel go to all the addresses and start S2 app or S1 to find those old or new unitsRune

iPhone updated to S2 80.00.04 4 days ago and has now completely trashed my setup. Speakers not found in app, player, play 1 and 5 not appearing in app. Spent most of my afternoon doing factory resets and reinstallation of all my devices. Worked fine until I added Sonos boost, now everything has disappeared and I can only get the speakers to reappear if I disconnect the boost. Sonos what the hell is going on 🤬🤬

When I open my Sonos system App it's not working.

Good morning. I have around 2 days trying to connect the sub gen 3 to my arc and it is Just not posible. I dont understand why regular connection doesnt work. I have already connected the arc and the era 300s. However the sub gen 3 is impossible. It ends up as asking for the pin and in the end it doesnt connect. The sub Led is in green so i think the equipment is not damaged. I have resetted  everything around 10 times. This shouldnt be this difficult. How can i solve this? 

Hi all i have just changed wifi providers. My beam has the internet and is linked to my Alexa app and Amazon music. However whenbi ask alexa to do anything she doesnt make the start up noise to know that shebos listening, hiwever she is listening because she can control my smart plugs ok.if i ask her to play BBC Radio 2 she will say playing BBC Radio2 but no radio comes on. The same thing hspens on my Sonos1 smart speaker. All of my Amazon echo speakers are working fine. Can anyone help ? 

My speakers keep getting disconnected and unreachable from the app. It's an issue both me (Android)  and my wife (iphone) have all the time. I need to unplug the speakers between every playlist change. I'd be able to play whatever is on the playlist by pressing play button on the speaker, but unable to connect to it by the app. After unplugging and plugging back in, things would work, but after an hour or so... and we want to change the playlist, speaker would be unreachable again.

Just wondering if anyone has tried this.

The Sonos system is awful. It is so unstable. It is causing issues with our internet too. I will definitely not recommend Sonos.  We spent over 100k for a system that is offline more than online. Sonos support has been unable to help. It is unrelated to our internet service provider.  Can anyone help???

New app I can not get the tv bar to join the rest of my speakers before I tun on tv click tv and it all worked now it don’t 

You’ll have to excuse me, I’m not great with technology at all. I have a Sonos Ray connected to my TV and am waiting for my new Era 100 to arrive as I wanted some extra output for the sound. I’m thinking of getting rid of my existing CD player (I still love my CDs, as well as stream music) and wanted to know if there was a good, small CD player I could purchase that would play out of my Era speaker (I don’t know if I could/should attach Ray soundbar). I’ve looked for hours but all that I read is very technical and even more confusing. Just a simple set-up, I’m assuming it would be over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, I’d still like to play my CD collection, which is still expanding. TIA
