I want to play my old Sony HiFi (CDs a d minidiscs) through my Sonos speakers via the WiFi network. Is there some way of doing this?

HiFi to Sonos
Two ways. You can rip the CDs and add them (and the minidisks) to a local library:

Or you could hook the play device up to a Line-In (Sonos device with a Line-In required):
