I am not sure why I keep torturing myself and buying more Sonos.  The hardware is fantastic but for the life of me I don’t know how they can regress with both their app and setup of new speakers.  I just bought a Beam and an Arc for my vacation home.  What seemed like a seamless setup when completely wrong once it asked me to register my Beam.  I went through the “fix it” and it started trying to add the Beam AGAIN.  It was already added.  I looked at some prior post here from 3 years ago with 19,000 views/comments.  It is negligent for a company that has this good of hardware to consistently butcher the app rollout and setup process.  It should be getting easier, not harder.  I think this is our 14 sonos speaker and I am about to just return the last two.  The hold time for a call with tech support is 55 minutes with no call back function.  Do better.
