Hi all, I have recently bought some sonos kit, a beam 2, a mini sub and 2 second hand play 1s.The s2 app sees the play 1s but says they need an update. When I try to update I get an error 1002.Can anybody help with this?

I have Sonos One cables running through a wall, to reach my One speakers, and its impossible to replace them, or run new wires.My speakers have been damaged, and would like to upgrade to the Era 100.Is it possible to hack the existing wire, cut the power adapter head end off, and replace with a Era 100 head end? Is it simply two wires that need to be connected?Would that work?
Setting up new SL small speaker along with a brand new internet system and service. it just won’t connect to the new system. Using Ethernet isn’t working. I believe the Ethernet is 2.4g not 5g.

Trying to connect my Brothers two Play 3 speakers, go through the process and it says they are connected but when you reopen the app they are not there.i have taken the Play 3’s to my place and they work fine and are up to date.take them to his place, factory reset them and it goes through the process but they do not appear.i have scanned the network and they are connected to WiFi.so I suspect the router, he has an Archer 1600 which is a common router.it was all working fine on S2 appmy question is, are there any specific settings in the Archer router that need to be on or off to be able for it to work.this one has me stumped thanks in advance
Ever since the App Downgrade last month my speakers are constantly going offline. My Beam + Sub appears in my list but will not connect with the others. It says “Unable to connect try again later” and later never seems to happen.
I’m so disappointed!!!!!!!!!it is very frustrating to have a great system and now this. For all the reasons listed by EVERYONE !!! how can you not immediately not revert the app to the more stable version and apply a new fix? Planned on expanding a large system and I am losing faith for sure. I am considering going back to a Bose or wired system.

Since the new app updated, I have a multitude of issues. Music lags, volume adjustment lags, adding speakers or zones lag. Music cuts out continually. Is thus because I have several older units? (play:3 and play:1) have done a system reboot. Unplugged all Sonos products (18 in all) shut down router and internet connection for 10 minutes. Restarted internet and router. Waited another 10 minutes and plugged in all Sonia products. It fixed nothing. I’m trying to roll back to the old app (s1) and it looks like I have to down grade every speaker? Which means factory resetting each one and setting up the entire system from scratch. I’m more than frustrated that I spent so much money building my system and now it is unusable. I have no need for some of the newer features… I just want to open the app, choose music and choose rooms to play it in.
Sonos finds all products on new router. When connect to new network is applied. It won’t find the products that have been previously found. Set the new router to 2.4 gig only and still won’t connect. Any possible solutions please
Bug report-Speakers drop intermittently - app version is current and all speakers restarted within the last week. Appears to be playing in the app but no sound. In-app volume sliders disappear for speakers randomly. See photo. I must always look for the system on my network if I have joined a different system on another network. New thing in the current version of the app.

This doesn't happen if there is a constant stream of audio like music playing, but does happen if there is no sound and then I switch to something with audio (youtube, music, etc.) This happens a lot in conference calls. After I am speaking, I will see that someone is responding, but I can’t hear them.When this happens, I can always “wake” the speaker up by increasing the volume. Hi.I recently added apple music to my services but it will not play on my play 3 stereo pair.It works on my play 5 gen 2s.Is it due to Apple lossless.I know play 3s only play 16 bit but surely it can adjust track format.

Excited to be here.I recently had an issue which my sub (gen3) stopped working, even tho it was connected to Wifi (Checked the router’s clients) and the light was solid white.I did few restart (took it off the power and back on), and I even tried to factory reset and re adding it to my system, after doing it the app said that it might not be seeing in the app but all I need to do is turn of and on the sub again and it will be shown in the system setting which didn’t help.Following this I decided to factory reset my Sonos beam and rebuilding the whole system, But the same thing happened, now I can’t even see the beam even tho I'm on the same wifi, and I can even connect to it to change the wifi. But generally looks like the app doesn’t recognize the Sonos beam also.Any suggestions what to do? My system is Sonos beam using ARC and the Sub
Hi, I deactivated wifi on some of my devices in the past. Now I got the “great” new app. I try to reactive Wifi on the devices, because I restructure my hole home network. I try to reactivate it on one ikea symfonisk and two One SL devices. The app says, wifi is active, but if i remove the ethernet cable, the three devices to not join the wifi. Even more, if i try to deactive the wifi in the app, I get the error message “Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten” “Bitte versuche es erneut” and retrying creates the same error message. Any ideas what I can try?
During Era 100 setup, am asked to stop apps on my iphone from using Airplay. How can I tell which ones are using airplay? I normally have my phone audio routed to my hearing aids. I have turned that off. I don’t know what other apps could be using airplay. The set-up procedure can’t proceed until this is answered.

after update cannot find my products in the system
I have been using Sonos for several years. I have a play and a one SL. I just bought a Sonos Ray. I went to install it yesterday and the app prompted me to download an update. I did that and the Sonos is coming up in the Sonos app. But when I go through the steps to register it, it’s saying that it can’t register to my account I have, checked that it is on the same Wi-Fi account that my other devices are on and my other devices are still working. But I still can’t register the device. I gave it 24 hours and tried again and it won’t register. I have tried to call helpdesk, but it’s a 70 minute wait both times I’ve tried , does anyone know how to get it registered? I’ve rebooted and I’ve reset factory settings before and rebooted Wi-Fi. Also tried ethernet cable. Any help would be appreciated.
