Wifi Ethernet

Hello - I cant seem to disable wifi on my One SL. Wifi receiver is absolutely useless so I bought an ethernet cable as I have spent 16 hours attempting to get into contact with Sonos, resetting the speaker, troubleshooting, live chatting, you name it lol. Now the ethernet cable comes in and I cannot disable the wifi. I might lose it. Does anyone have any suggestions. Attached is a picture showing what the app does for 2 miliseconds when i tap the button. It then slides back and fails to disable wifi. The new sonos app requires a dedicated therapist for all of its users.

Why do you need to disable WiFi?

Sorry, definitely needed more details. The wifi decides to disable after about 9 hours and forgets the system. Not sure why… sonos support couldnt figure it out. My wifi system still sees it as an inactive speaker when it does this and then itll reconnect, but not rejoin my system. Happens everytime i want to play music.

Can’t speak to any possible “new App” related issues but aside from them:

You do realize that by hooking your speaker to Ethernet you are putting the other speakers that can use it in SonosNet mode too, not just changing the one speaker?

Is it set up as a primary speaker or as a surround?

Is the Ethernet connected to your main router?

Can you see the speaker from the router’s monitoring tools?

What does the App say about the connection mode?
