I don’t know if it’s just me but I’m fed up with updating most times I want to listen to a song, I have to update/ log In/ do some *** which stops me from just listening to a tune, I’ve spent a fair amount of cash on Sonos as I love how it sounds, however, if you could just make it so it just works until I decide to update, etc, it would be ace, say I get home from a do/night out, I don’t want to have to log in, update, subscribe, whatever… I just want to put some tunes on. Why oh why shouldn’t this be easy, please oh please focus on the music, not the politics of the Sonos brand, that’s why I love ya, not the feedback generation. *Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the community guidelines.*

Hi guys. I have a Play:5 (gen2) pair + Sub (Gen2) and I am just acquiring a sonos arc for my TV. I use my system both as Home theater and music system with a turntable plugged into one of the Play:5. I am planning to use the arc below the TV + my sub close to the TV and to put the pair of PLay:5 behind the sofa as an stereo pair for optimum souround sound, but I would like to ask you guys a doubt. Do you think that getting myself a wall mount for the Play:5 pair would really undermine their performance? It’s easier to mount them on the walls in my living room rather than putting them on a floor stand, but I am a bit scared because I've read some reviews saying that their performance drops quite a bit, mainly when speaking of their bass… (as I have a SUB and the arc, I don’t know if that would really be an issue...).What do you guys think? Would you encourage me to buy the wall mounts? Or would you rather recommend me to try to solve my space problem (it’s not easy) and to get some wall

i have a surround system in Living room.. soundbar   2 play 1s and a sub.. works great.. i just purchased a move.. can i somehow add that to the surround system as an extra speaker?? Thanks in advance

How can I use my sonos system when I don't have internet service

Today is my first day with sonos moveAfter turning off from the power button from back side after sometime move automatically turn back on (light on). Is there any issue in the device or common issue ???Please help me it drains battery...!!!

Not sure if this combination is possible to achieve stereo separation and enhance bass without breaking the bank and driving your neighbour nuts.2 x sonos one in stereo and adding 1 x play 5 gen1 to the group for some bass and sound stage. 

At my leaving room, I have setup Beam, Sub and two one SL already configured. I want to move my one SL to my Gym and just want to play that Gym SL only. Tried but not able to configured. Is it because it is already configured with Beam ? Can I make same SL configure for two room? 

Good afternoon,I’ve been working in AV-IT for a few years now, and the company i work for loves Sonos, as does our clients. I find that they’re great when they work. Unfortunately, because i work in networking I’m constantly having to deal with network loops on the network every time an update happens. Is there a way to prevent wifi from being enabled when updates are done?

Hi Sonos It is happing again :-[ (3rd time)I’ve got audio dropout in the morning. And it is happening at the same time and same situration as last time. Around 7 o’ clock it all begins. Last time we you magically fixed it over the web And everything was working fine. (you have already fixed it 2 times. So I guess it is time for the 3.) System setup is the same. no new stuff so I don’t understand why the dropout suddenly comes back. Please please help :-) Kind regardsP   Message from last time: (26/3-2020)Hi Sonos people :-)I am having some trouble with my Sonos equipment.I have an alarm set that starts to play everyday at 6:30 and play 2 hours. In the beginning there was no trouble. And now it automatically turn off the music at around 6:45-6:50 everyday. I have tried to redo an alarm setup. I have tried to update system. And even tried to do 6:15 instead 6:30. But no matter what it still do the same stuff everyday.  

Hi! Our Sonos soundsystem is always lagging in 2-3 seconds in the beginning of a song. It’s not lagging when we turn the TV On (it’s connected), But then we hear Music from the sonos app, it lags. What Can we do?

Daft question - turntable plugged in via aux - works fine but volume is definitely lower than playing direct via App etc.  is this because it’s aux input or maybe the power output is not high on the turntable a relatively cheap audio technica type I have add a few years.  or is that normal

First of all, when you call for support and the wait is 45 minutes each time means that you aren’t the only one having problems; you just don’t hear about 90% of them because people don’t wanna waste their time typing up complaints.  I have personally spoken with 3 other people, none of which know each other and they all hate sonos and say it’s the worst product ever.Customer service reads from cue cards and never understand what I need. The instructions online… horribly written.  I was told that Sonos was perfect for syncing up music in multiple rooms for my event business. I have 2 separate 1 gig WiFi systems set up to support 15 TVs, 15 streaming devices, cameras, nests and WiFi, plus guest access ALL GOING at the SAME TIME. When I look at how much bandwidth is actually being used at any given time, it’s not even a 20%.  Problems:Every 10 to 30 minutes the speakers lose connection and stop playing. Takes anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes to reconnect App goes gray and flashes… s

So currently I already have a Sonos Move and it sounds amazing! But I'm wondering if I should buy another Move to make a stereo pair, is it actually worth another 400$? So I have 3 options for this situation: 1) I could buy another Move and use for different rooms when I don't need it. And whenever I have a party I can stereo pair them together. That would cost around 400$ more. 2) Because the current sonos move is still refundable, I can refund this one and then I could buy 2 Xtreme 2, which have comparable sounds. The Xtreme 2 is a little lighter, not as smart. That would cost around 600 - 400 = 200$ 3) Or if it's not worth it then I'll just keep the 1 sonos move. Please let me know your opinion about this. Thank you! 

Do I need to retune my paired Sonos Play 1 or other paired Sonos One/Sub/Playbase every-time there’s a power outage or when I lose power to the outlet they are plugged into? 

What type of cord do I need to connect my Sonos Move to the router... what type of cord connection goes into the Move

I’m considering the Move speaker to use outside, but am not sure if it’s no different from any bluetooth speaker? I would only want it if it stays connected to my wi-fi when in the back yard, etc.

Doubtless a much targeted query.. recommended in store to purchase a one SL to create another stereo set in the house, using a play 1 I already have. seems this is not possible? Can anyone confirm? many thanks

I’m in the process of moving to a new broadband provider and so have two WiFi networks in my house.3 of my Sonos devices are on the new network (after I changed the Ethernet connection to one of the devices to the new network).  But one stands alone on the old network.  As i couldn’t choose the WiFi network (only the old network was listed in settings network and if I connect an Ethernet cable per support instructions it doesn’t let me change networks) So I reset the device, and with my phone on the new network I added the Sonos.  For one album playing the device was on the new network.  When I went to choose the next album the device (room) had disappeared from the list of rooms and durecenough when I switch my phone back to the old network, the device is connected back there again.how can I get it to forget the old network and stay on the new one?

If I have 2 Sonos moves in stero pair via Wifi in one room will other speakers still play sound too in other rooms? also if I use my beam for a tv sound bar I can currently also connect one Sonos move to the tv sound also- is it possible to have the 2 moves in stereo mode if playing through the beams tv audio?

I have upgraded my Play 3 units to Move units.  The move units haven’t arrived yet but my pay 3 units are now dead.  why?

I just got my Move today and since I don't own an Iphone, I was wondering if there is any way I could use the mics from the Sonos Move to calibrate my Sonos Arc surround system?

I have sonos play 1s and and arc plus a sub and the sound is very distorted.  im very disappointed as I’ve spent lots on more speak from Sonos I need to Understand what is going wrong with the sound from streamed music on Spotify before I take all the system out and change to another system. I strive for clarity on vocals and bass coming through the speakers this is not happening with Sonos.   

Sonos speakers in the living room started to pause music then start up again after a few seconds about three weeks ago! I also have speakers in the kitchen and dinning room but they work fine. Diagnostic #163414073.
