Hi! Our Sonos soundsystem is always lagging in 2-3 seconds in the beginning of a song. It’s not lagging when we turn the TV On (it’s connected), But then we hear Music from the sonos app, it lags. What Can we do?

Daft question - turntable plugged in via aux - works fine but volume is definitely lower than playing direct via App etc.  is this because it’s aux input or maybe the power output is not high on the turntable a relatively cheap audio technica type I have add a few years.  or is that normal

First of all, when you call for support and the wait is 45 minutes each time means that you aren’t the only one having problems; you just don’t hear about 90% of them because people don’t wanna waste their time typing up complaints.  I have personally spoken with 3 other people, none of which know each other and they all hate sonos and say it’s the worst product ever.Customer service reads from cue cards and never understand what I need. The instructions online… horribly written.  I was told that Sonos was perfect for syncing up music in multiple rooms for my event business. I have 2 separate 1 gig WiFi systems set up to support 15 TVs, 15 streaming devices, cameras, nests and WiFi, plus guest access ALL GOING at the SAME TIME. When I look at how much bandwidth is actually being used at any given time, it’s not even a 20%.  Problems:Every 10 to 30 minutes the speakers lose connection and stop playing. Takes anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes to reconnect App goes gray and flashes… s

So currently I already have a Sonos Move and it sounds amazing! But I'm wondering if I should buy another Move to make a stereo pair, is it actually worth another 400$? So I have 3 options for this situation: 1) I could buy another Move and use for different rooms when I don't need it. And whenever I have a party I can stereo pair them together. That would cost around 400$ more. 2) Because the current sonos move is still refundable, I can refund this one and then I could buy 2 Xtreme 2, which have comparable sounds. The Xtreme 2 is a little lighter, not as smart. That would cost around 600 - 400 = 200$ 3) Or if it's not worth it then I'll just keep the 1 sonos move. Please let me know your opinion about this. Thank you! 

Do I need to retune my paired Sonos Play 1 or other paired Sonos One/Sub/Playbase every-time there’s a power outage or when I lose power to the outlet they are plugged into? 

What type of cord do I need to connect my Sonos Move to the router... what type of cord connection goes into the Move

I’m considering the Move speaker to use outside, but am not sure if it’s no different from any bluetooth speaker? I would only want it if it stays connected to my wi-fi when in the back yard, etc.

Doubtless a much targeted query.. recommended in store to purchase a one SL to create another stereo set in the house, using a play 1 I already have. seems this is not possible? Can anyone confirm? many thanks

I’m in the process of moving to a new broadband provider and so have two WiFi networks in my house.3 of my Sonos devices are on the new network (after I changed the Ethernet connection to one of the devices to the new network).  But one stands alone on the old network.  As i couldn’t choose the WiFi network (only the old network was listed in settings network and if I connect an Ethernet cable per support instructions it doesn’t let me change networks) So I reset the device, and with my phone on the new network I added the Sonos.  For one album playing the device was on the new network.  When I went to choose the next album the device (room) had disappeared from the list of rooms and durecenough when I switch my phone back to the old network, the device is connected back there again.how can I get it to forget the old network and stay on the new one?

If I have 2 Sonos moves in stero pair via Wifi in one room will other speakers still play sound too in other rooms? also if I use my beam for a tv sound bar I can currently also connect one Sonos move to the tv sound also- is it possible to have the 2 moves in stereo mode if playing through the beams tv audio?

I have upgraded my Play 3 units to Move units.  The move units haven’t arrived yet but my pay 3 units are now dead.  why?

I just got my Move today and since I don't own an Iphone, I was wondering if there is any way I could use the mics from the Sonos Move to calibrate my Sonos Arc surround system?

I have sonos play 1s and and arc plus a sub and the sound is very distorted.  im very disappointed as I’ve spent lots on more speak from Sonos I need to Understand what is going wrong with the sound from streamed music on Spotify before I take all the system out and change to another system. I strive for clarity on vocals and bass coming through the speakers this is not happening with Sonos.   

Sonos speakers in the living room started to pause music then start up again after a few seconds about three weeks ago! I also have speakers in the kitchen and dinning room but they work fine. Diagnostic #163414073.  

I have had a Sonos system for years and recently purchased the Move. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with it. My wife gave it to me for my birthday. I tried using is yesterday for Memorial Day outside. I had used it with a Pandora station and it worked find. However, when I tried to use it with a Sonos station, it worked for perhaps two minutes and then I got no reception at all.    Trying to start it up again was almost impossible. I have a Sonos bride and boost installed in my system. I was ready to throw it out I was so frustrated. I loved the station but could not play it.   My son had suggested connecting it to blue tooth, but that did not happen. What are your thoughts? I have always been most happy with my system but not so much with the Move.   Help   Joe

Following the latest Sonos update, my Playbase no longer appears on my Sonos system through WIFI. All other speakers on my system appear and work like before. The playbase has been moved around to try and fix the issue but this has not helped. I,ve rebooted and actually set a factory default on the Playbase. The Playbase appears on the Sonos system when it is hardwired with an ethernet cable and works as it should. When I unplugged the cable the Playbase disappear s from my system, plug it back in and it reappears.  I need help in solving this new issue. Thx

My sonos 5 generation 1 device only sounds the bass, how can I solve this problem?

Anyone experience with using a network cable for a Sonos One put on a Sonos Shelf?There doesn’t seem to be much space for a cable to go in and not bend the cable (bad for performance) as the space between the shelf and wall is so limited…Was thinking of a flexible ethernet cable, but even these connector are rather big... 

I bought my speakers in the US and brought them to a holiday home in Spain (using a basic converter). This has worked fine for over a year. Recently there was a huge surge in the building and it blew out several things. For everything else I just replaced the cord and not the appliance. Ex: my charging cable for my laptop blew out but my computer was fine. Unfortunately my Sonos One doesn’t work now even with a new cord. Is there anything that I can do?  

Hi, I have a Sonos system ( 2 Speakers Play:3 and their bridge) today I have noticed that the entire system stopped to work and be connected to the home wireless with no changes to the main internet or wireless connection.Can you please help me to address the issue and reconnect the Sonos system to wireless?Thank you Carmine 

Hello folks!I just ordered an arc + sub to replace my play base. I live in a 1200 sf apartment on the corner of the building and my living room is to the outside so there are 3 walls between my living room and my neighbor next to me (bedroom wall, 2 closet walls, and bathroom wall) I don’t think the sound from the sub will travel through all that at reasonable volumes but I am worried about disturbing my downstairs neighbor. Would an isolation pad under the sub help? Or would that not really do anything because of the force cancelling drivers in the gen 3 sub? Any apartment dwellers with the sub have any insight?  

Ik heb een Move gekocht maar die blijkt al na 24u in standby te staan (dus zonder muziek af te spelen) 70% batterij te hebben verbruikt. Dus van volledig opgeladen naar 30% zonder muziek af te spelen. Kan u me tips geven hoe ik dit moet oplossen?  Of: Kan ik het product retourneren ?

if you get a text message on your phone when playing an internet streaming service like XM or iHeart Radio do you hear the text over the speakers or through the port? If no, is it because the speakers or port is streaming the service direct from the internet and not the phone or is it just because that does not happen when on wifi unlike bluetooth?

Hi I would like to disable the touch control sound effects.  So that when I adjust the volume all I hear is the volume of the audio changing rather then Boop Boop Boop I like the sound effects generally on this device, on.off and bluetooth switch, etc.  But would like to have an Option to have no volume sound when adjusting volume using the + - touch controls  Thanksnick
