Two Play:1s are a stereo pair and fade in and out of a sound that lacks body and can be described as thin and metallic. I'm no sound engineer but it's as if the bass just completely fades, or drops out, before popping back. Has anyone else experienced this?
Hi,I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue; my IOS App and desktop client is much slower to ‘wake’ since purchasing a Move.IOS: 14.2Sonos OS: S2, 12.2Move: Version: 12.2.2 (build 61183220) | Hardware Version: 1.25.1.8-2.2So, before anyone says “it’s the wireless”, no it isn’t. My system has been very quick before bringing the Move into the house. I have staggered 2.4Ghz channels (1,6,11) through the house as well as most wireless (apart from Sonos, why!!??!!) on 5Ghz. I’ve always been of the mind that most people’s App issues have been due to phone roaming issues rather than interference/WiFi Signal, but that is just my own opinion. But since having the Move a week ago, the app and desktop clients take seconds to wake and I assume it is searching for the Move. It’s always the Move that is the last to populate in the App.Is it because the Move goes to sleep while on battery and has to go through Wake On Lan?
Are the magnets in the Sonos SUB strong enough to negatively effect a PS5 or other gaming console? Is there a recommended safe distance to keep these kind of devices from the SUB?
My TV and Sonos Arc are wall mounted over a natural gas fireplace, exactly where the previous owner of the condo (I just moved in) had his TV and Sonos sound bar. The Arc is 14 inches above the fireplace. There is no mantle protecting it from the fireplace heat. Does anyone know what is the heat tolerance of the Arc? The previous owner tells me that he never had any issues with his Sonos Arc and had used his fireplace a lot. Before I start using the fireplace, I’d like to know the heat tolerance of the Sonos Arc.ThanksStephen
I wonder if there is any way to get a play 5 that is put in recovery mode to play again.
With various updates, the reliability of my Sonos system is getting worse and worse. It honestly works about one time in three. Perpetual error messages, unable, can’t, won’t, error occurred, no music playing, at really inopportune times. such a frustrating music listening experience. When it works it’s great, okay, good sound and it’s worthwhile. But just a constant reliability headache. I’ll go back to a simple radio or MP3 player in each room.
I have a pair of gen 2 Sonos Play 5 configured for stereo and hardwired into my television. Since the recent update, the sound randomly stops. The moment I open the app on my phone, the sound returns. I do nothing with the app. This happens several times an hour.
Is it possible to pair two sonos move devices in bluetooth mode to listen to stereo sound.
I must admit that I am extremely impressed with my stereo pair of Play 5’s,with the Sub…..The system is so good that I pretty much can’t believe you can get this much sound quality at these prices….I was an audiophile for years and spent a bundle on high end equipment….This set up has me impressed, but I wonder if the dream will end sooner than I’d like, since these cost “so much less” than many standard audio products of the past…..Hmm?How have your older Sonos products held up?Thanks in advance.-:)
I have 5 sons one speakers, one doesn't want to play thru airplay from an ATV 2nd gen. Its shows itself on the airplay speaker list and can be selected but only goes for a second or two before pausing video and audio. The speaker works fine with all other airplay devices and later generation ATV 3 & 4 gen. Maybe the sonos one is not compatible with this older version of TVos???
I recently bought a pair of the Sanus stands for my One SLs but noticed that the power cable can only exit the back of the stand. I plan on putting these behind my sofa that is open to the rest of the room on the back. I want to push the stands partially under the back of the sofa and would like the power cable to come out the front of the stand rather than the back so I can hide the cables under the couch. Before I take back the Sanus stands, does anyone know if any stands have an option to change where the cable exits on the base? Flexson or the Sonos brand maybe?
Is there anyone that can tell me how to call Sonos Belgium? I made an order for the Sonos Move on 26nov. First there was displayed 'back order', now there's displayed 'out of stock'. And I can't reach them at all. Please help.
Hello- I have searched the forum and haven’t seen an answer to this: How do you add multiple WiFi networks to Sonos Move? I have a SonosNet setup and the Move is the only WiFI connected Sonos device. I have multiple Wifi networks due to the area I am covering with different SSIDs, all on the same subnet. SonosNet reaches far corners due to the mesh, but a single WiFi network won’t. I read that Move can store credentials for up to 16 networks, but how to you add those additional credentials? The solutions I’ve seen involve multiple Sonos systems (which I do not have), change all access points to same credentials (which I don’t want to do), or factory reset the Move and re-setup Wifi when out of range (which makes the Move pretty immovable). Thank you.
I’m trying to do an upgrade and click on Request a shipping label and get the message ‘Missing Information - Please update all required fields in your profile and try again’. But ALL the fields in my profile are now filled in and I still get the message. How do I get past this Missing Information message?
Was wondering if I should sell them and upgrade to the Sonos One?
I'm about to upgrade my Play 5s (gen1) to the new FIVEs. Will the FIVEs still pair with my gen 1 Sub? Moving all, hardware to S2 environment and note Sub is still supported by S2. Hoping I can keep existing Sub. Any advice?
Hi FriendsHere’s a question that I can’t seem to find the answer to elsewhere: If I have two Sonos Moves stereo paired, how do I quickly unpair them and take just one out on the deck? Obviously I don’t want just the right or the left channel playing when I take one of them with me:-) Could I just pres the bluetooth button and that would seperate them? And would they then pair again when I go back on wifi? I hope this question makes sense. Kind regardsMads
So, I’ve had my Sonos system for a few years and recently had nothing but problems with it. On my partners phone all three of our devices show up (Sony) and on my iPhone I only get 2 of our three devices. Both logged into the same system. Ive restarted all devices, disconnected them from the system and rejoined them but it still won’t appear on my controller. the missing speaker works fine on his device but I can’t even see it when I search for new devices. two Sonos One devices appear on my phone but not my PLAY:3 any ideas? Fed up of the unpredictability with the system.
Hi community,I bought a Sonos base to stop my speakers dropping out. Which is working. However my move, which I know it’s not on the same base network, continues to drop out. It defaults to the weak wifi signal. How do I change its default wifi to the stronger signal, which differs from the base/other speakers. thanks heaps
Is there any way to force the hardware keys ons 1 of the speakers to control the group volume?its so frustrating that this only changes the volume of the speaker you touch.I know that i can change it via the app, but i don’t want to search for my phone and start the app every time i want to change the volume...
If someone resets my system, will I get an email or any kind of notification? I have a system set up in a rental and am worried about someone trying to reset it and take it over or even remove it from the home. Thanks for any advice.
Once the Sonos Move is fully charged do you disconnect the charger from the power supply?Im concerned about over charging the speakers battery and causing damage!
I ordered Sonos One (white) on the Oct 30th. Website indicated it would ship the same day but on Dec 3rd the status of the order is still being processed?
Hi Team,I have purchased Sonos Sub woofer for this thanks giving and I love bass with beam speaker.. however I hear same noise from the sub but only when you slow to sub and take ear to it, somewhat like a coil whine or old PC fan sound.. I don’t have any problem with surface and tried changing the place as well but I see the noise coming, If I mute the TV sound i can hear the noise clearly.. I checked the forum and I see many people are reported the same issue.. could you please provide your support to fix it or replacement thanksJay
