My beam randomly plays loudly at the same time every day
I have a 13 month old Beam that stopped working today. It won’t power on. I’ve tried the hard reset. Any advise.
I have a turntable and preamp connected direct to Era 300 (in the living room). If I added a second Era 300 in a completely separate room (the dining room), would I be able to stream directly to only the speaker in the dining room or would any playback have to come form both speakers?
I will be travelling later in the year and my baggage allowance is limited. I do not want to take my Roam with me if I am going to have problems connecting it to the WiFi router of the Starlink connection that I will have in the caravan.I note that in previous topics people have been referred to the Sonos System Requirements - Unsupported Networks section. This mentions that “Wireless internet connections such as satellite...” are unsupported. Does that include a situation such as the one I will have?I will not want to just send music from my iPhone to it, rather I want to play the radio stations I have as favourites in the Sonos S2 App.
Sonos drops speaker then requires router reboot!
Hi, I’m thinking about adding a Mini Sub to my current setup, 2x Era300s + Move 2 + Roam. I know that Mini Sub cannot be paired with Move 2 and/or Roam. So if I were to add the Mini Sub to my setup and pair it with the Era300. Will I still be able to play music from all 4 speaker simultaneously?
See above title. I would never buy any Sonos product again and my advice to everyone that I speak with (and I’m a tech consultant) is never ever ever buy a Sonos product.
Hello everyone, I’ve been using Sonos for a while now, pretty easy to used once you get the hang of it. I recently discovered that for some reason even though my Apple TV seems to connect fine with my stereo pair of era 300 no sound is coming off from then, only from the YouTube app. Can anyone please help before I smash tthem To pieces
Hello I am new to the whole sonos ecosystem and I am curious if you can have a pair of Era 300’s and a sub gen 3 and have them work together. Do I need a soundbar. Thank you
Hi all Good people. During Black Week the Sub mini was down around $100 and i was able to get one.First i add it to my livingroom downstairs along with the Playbase&Ikea BS. I try different placement and try multiple Truplay-runs. Sound was like ok,but nothing more. I really enjoy this room even without the Sub mini. I think Playbase is a great soundbar. Anyway…. Then i moved the Sub mini upstairs and integrade it with the Beam Gen2& Era 100…and i got a Ikea BS stereopair as well. The Sub mini is placed in the front corner of the room. Let me say it like this: the Sub mini outplay Gen3 by far….i’m in LOVE. The tight punch, the dynamic…just WOW. Yes,i’m talking bout performance with Music, not TV/Film/Movies. Just pure enjoyable music. And the size….to be honest,i thought the Sub mini was a small unit….it’s not. It’s somehow bigger than i imagine.I have not watch any movies, only Youtube, and the sound is good(enough). I probobly gonna watch some films in the near future, but i think
Sonos Era 100 paired with Sony-PS-LX310BT turntable was working just fine. Now, no sound. Have tested Sonos speaker with tv, phone, airplay. Speaker works just fine. All updates are complete. The cartridge is not loose. Why the sudden issue with the Sony turntable? What can be done to listen to vinyl with this combination?
We have the opportunity to buy a couple of Sonos units (Sones One and Playbar) installed in the office of a bankrupt company. We will move soon in the office and I would be interested to buy this installation. My concern though is to take control of this installation and attach it to an account we would create for this occasion. The previous owner has vanished somewhere on the planet and it is impossible to get presumably actual account on this system. The question is simple : is it possible to reassign this system to an new account without the credentials of the actual one?
How do I submit a feature request. I would like to disable touch controls on individual speakers within a room rather than disabling touch controls on everything within the room. Moderator edit: changed “group” to “room” for clarity.
I have an existing set up of play:1,3, and one and symfonik. I got the symfonik so that I could use airplay with it and through the symfonik stream to the other Sonos throughout the house. now I have a xgimi home projector that supports sound through Bluetooth. What is the best way to stream to these other Sonos devices?
I would like to have 9 Sonos Era 100 to a single network..Is this possible?
I am thinking of upgrading to the ERA 300 and would like to use it while traveling. My questions are if the bluetooth works well rather than buying a portable bluetooth speaker and, would there be any issues with using it while traveling and then coming home to where it has been set up?Thanks,Alan
Hi there, i recently bought 26 sonos ERA 100. i will need to connect them all together. im not sure on the limitations of this? if i can have them all in one group/room and just link them together so they share the same feed? or if i can have them all individually. all speakers can be mono feed. i read somewhere that 32 sonos one speakers can be in one system. so im hoping its the same for the ERA 100.
Play1 and Play3 working fine on S1 yesterday. Today when I launch S1 and try to play from any service, SirusXM, Spotify etc. a white popup box says I have to reauthorize the service but have to upgrade first. I go into system and choose upgrade. This opens app store to the S2 app. I download and launch S2 and it says all products are incompatible (expcted.) I swipe close both apps and launch S1 again. Again, if I try to play anything on Sirius or Spotify it says I need to reauthorize and upgrade. If I try to reauthorize the option is greyed out as it says I need to upgrade. Amazon Music does play Any ideas how to fix?
I just bought a Sub Mini which is working well with my stereo pair of ERA 100 speakers with one major exception. The touch controls on each ERA 100 do not control the volume of the sub, only the other ERA 100 speaker leaving the sound with either way too much or too little bass depending on if I turned the volume up or down. The volume works correctly using the phone APP which even brings the volume of the Sub Mini back in sync with the 2 ERA 100s.Sonos tech support verified this behavior using the support feature which confirmed the volume was moving in sync using the APP but not when using the touch controls in 2 separate submissions.Sonos Tech support said this is normal behavior but I am a little skeptical of the agent’s response and frequently use the grooved touch volume control. Is the sub’s volume not responding to the volume touch controls on the speakers consistent with other’s experience?Any thoughts or suggestions? ty
Hello there..I’m wondering if I can group a Sonos Roam with two Sonos One and transmit via bluetooth to Roam and the Roam shares the stream to other grouped speakers. In my ongoing frustration to save about £10 a month (I know, but it’s better in my pocket than theirs), I’ve been trying to find a way to play YouTube via my Sonos stereo pair. YouTube are idiots.Their interface is so basic and clunky that I’m not even tempted to spend out on their speaker system....and it MUST be costing them money as people simply won’t spend on a platform that doesn’t work with their systems. If anyone has ideas on how to make this work, I’m all ears.I only have two Sonos One and 6 3rd gen Echo Dots.
I have purchased new Sony TV KD-55X75WL which I wish to connect to Sonos 5 speakerOn my old Sony TV worked well via Line-InThe new TV has Dolby Atmos
Its now 2023, about a year after the previous Arc Gen 2 query was posted and closed, so making a new one. Any news/rumours/updates of an ETA? We thinking by end of this year or most likely 2024?
Are Sonos devices in a surround setup using dedicated wireless connections even if all devices are connected wired via Ethernet and WiFi is disabled in the settings?I am running a Sonos surround setup (arc, sub and two era300). All devices are connected to the home Gigabit network via dedicated Ethernet cables. WiFi is disabled in the Sub and Arc settings. The Eras are connected via Sonos Combo adapter. Everything works fine.Checking the web interface of the surround devices via port 1400 there are no ath0 entries in the ipconfig report. But I am still wondering if there is a wireless connection between the surround devices. Can someone from Sonos give a „official“ answer?
Hi All I have a very quick and simple question: Can I SWITCH OFF the Wifi and Bluetooth PERMANENTLY from my Sonos One? I am keen on using Sonos One connected to my Router via a Ethernet cable and also because I want to reduce the EMF Radiation in my Flat. Thanks in advance N
So how do that?
