Hi Everyone, I have a LG 55NANO86, with eArc..but still don't get “ATMOS”..however is showing Dolby Digital Plus 5.1..in Amazon Prime Video (Watching Jack Ryan in the Firestick and in the TV App also)TV is configured as follows:Sound out: HDMI ARC DTV: auto Digital Sound Out: Pass Through eARC: enabledCurrently I'm using the HDMI cable provided by SONOS.  Any tips? (my system has ARC + Sub + 2 Ones) Thanks

Looking to get the SONOS Arc and Sub. I’m a little confused/concerned about hooking it up to my system. Currently I run the following into my Pioneer receiver:Cox Cable BoxSONOS Port (to stream music into current home theatre speakers)Blue Ray disc playerApple TV The receiver then controls the sounds that are sent into the speakers via wires. As I understand it, setting up the ARC, I would connect the ARC to the HDMI (ARC) connector of the TV. My TV, Pioneer Viera VT30 has just one HDMI (ARC) connection. This requires that I connect the Cox Cable box directly to the TV, presumably to one of the other HDMI connections.Would I then connect the Blue Ray player and the Apple TV directly to the TV? If this is the case, it seems that my receiver would become unnecessary. Thank you for your time to review my questions.

Hi allA convert to Sonos now I have sold my Logitech squeezebox collection. I have a Sonos one which I love and now have an itch to upgrade my sound bar to a beam. Question is, will I notice a significant improvement from my 10 year old Yamaha YHT S400, side by side listening comparisons will be difficult if not impossible I think.Thanks in advance.

good day all so i just upgraded my PC speaker system.i have a Sonos beam to my asus prime x299 deluxe MB by the optical out (using the sonos optical to HDMI ARC connector) and its working well. i then figure why not get surround sound. so i just got 2 oneSL's. i hooked them up and its not working. they out put sound (extension of the 2.0 sound from the beam) but not true surround. if i fly and play something with dedicated rear channel sound i get nothing.i have gone into the settings in win 10 to see if i could get it to push 5.1 audio. but i cant find anything. is this even possible?? is there a way to get HDMI ARC output from my 2080ti??i want full 5.1, but have yet to order a sub, and probably wont until i figure out how to get surround working. any help would be awesome. cheers,

Will the SYMFONISK remote work with the Arc speaker?

purchased new sonos beam; successfully setup then within a few mins it froze and played white noise until it was unplugged. did factory reset many times; reset router etc; replaced HMDI ARC cable with optical; overnight it has frozen again with touch buttons unresponsive and not visible in app; remove power for 5 mins and it returns until the next time it freezes.  I did send a diagnostic report but now its happened whilst writing I can’t. please help

Hi all, first post but long time lurker my Beam is having an issue where it’s muted when I turn the TV on and then the remote will not ‘wake’ it so to speak. Almost like it’s not sensing the optical input. toggling the tv on and off sometimes sorts it but then it won’t at the moment. running through the tv setup in settings gets me back working, but now the app keeps crashing! TV is a fairly new OLED C8 65” plugged in via the optical adapter 

Hi Everyone,I currently own a Sonos Connect and a Booster.I want to add a beam or arc, subwoofer and two speakers for my system.I want to add these products for my TV but also to be able to play my turn table through it.Is the connect I own enough to do this?My turntable is preamp.Thank you,Giacomo

Hey all, So I took the leap and installed some home cinema equipment 1 x Optoma UHD30 projector  1 x Beam 2 x Play 1 for rear 1 x Tendak splitter https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07PPMR8Y2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_GehQEb1JADBYH 1 x Apple TV 4K 1 x Manhattan Freesat Box The video and audio are splitting  but I’m not sure what’s the best audio setting - there’s a few options 5.1, 2.0 and Pass on the Tendak     Most seems fine.  However, when switching to the Apple TV and watching something in UHD4K 5.1 on the 5.1 setting  only the background sound seemed to come though the Sonos.   Any ideas on the best combo for settings. Hi,TLDR; FR: double click group speaker volume to equalize the volumes of all speakers in current group.Super simple feature, after clicking on the volume of my group, it shows the volume bars of all speakers in that group.I often find myself trying to equalize the volume of the separate speakers by hand.When it it showing all volumes of speakers in that group, I would like to be able to double click the volume of the speaker group to automatically equalize the volumes of all speakers in the group to an average (OR the lowest volume of any of the grouped speakers).Thanks in advance for your consideration. 

The UI only displays the track title when viewing an album.For a various artist album the App does not show the artist in the track listing of an album.Can Sonos App display the artist per track ?

We would like to add surround sound to our Master Bedroom, and we are looking to use the Sonos Wall or Ceiling Speakers along with the Arc and a Subwoofer but we have some questions. Our dimensions are 18’4” x 14’6”:How many speakers would we need, aside from the Arc and the Subwoofer? For the rear speakers would you recommend Wall Speakers at mid back wall, or Ceiling Speakers?Would you recommend Stand Speakers (play 1, etc.) instead of the Ceiling or Wall Speakers?If money were no problem, how would you design your perfect Home theater in a bedroom?

Ok,Just asking before I get the Beam. Currently have a PS4, Switch and Sky Q going through a Sky Soundbox (huge disappointment). My setup is as follows;Sky Q goes into Sky Soundbox via HDMISky Soundbox goes into TV via HDMI and Optical. PS4 and Switch go into TV via HDMII have to switch the Soundbox to Optical to hear sound from the PS4 and Switch. Question is with the Beam, would Sky go into Beam via HDMI and then into the TV via Optical would sound still come from the PS4/Switch?Thanks. 

I am still trying to find a remedy for the lost ability to have Sonos read off iTunes/Apple Music on my iPad.  I have songs and playlists on iTunes/Apple Music that I can no longer play on Sonos because (a) Sonos reads only off of Music files on my computer (a MacBook Pro) and (b) Apple tells me I cannot sync iTunes/Apple Music to the Music files on my computer.  Has anyone figured out how to solve thsi problem?

Hi. Looking for an answer to this Q: On the Sonos site in the ARC Mount “Optimal listening” details it states “Arc smartly detects when it is attached to the mount and automatically adjusts the EQ to temper bass resonance from the wall.”What happens when you mount the ARC’s wall bracket to center channel mounting brackets attached to a FPTV on an articulating arm? (Thus the ARC and TV can move in/out, pivot L/R, and “float” above and away from boundary surfaces). I have 2 such installation projects happening in short order.Can this “automatic detection” be overridden by the user in Sonos GUI? If not currently, someone at Sonos, please consider this option. If not switchable/controllable, how will I be able to dial in the sound?TIA for a response.

Hello, I have a Samsung Q90T television and a Sonos Arc soundbar. I can use Dolby Atmos with Netflix and Vudu, but only 5.1 Audio with Disney+, Apple or Amazon Prime. Are those apps (Disney+, Apple or Amazon Prime) not compatible with one of or both of my tv/soundbar? Does Samsung not support Atmos through them? Thanks in advance.

I’m new to the Sonos world.  I have many ”lossless”  FLAC files(from CDs) on an external USB hard drive.  Is there a way for me to connect this directly with the Port to play these music files?  I don’t have an NAS, and would like to avoid using a computer in this chain if at all possible.  Right now, I plug this USB drive into the Blu Ray player and access the drive through the Blu-Ray menu.  

Hello,  I have a Sonos Arc, Sub, Amp and two Sonos Architectural in ceiling speakers.  The in ceiling speakers fade in and out while listening to Apple TV.  I submitted diagnostic 757412537.  I checked TV settings which is Sony X800H, which seem correct to me.Any suggestions appreciated,B

Boost says it creates a dedicated wireless network for my Sonos products to utilize.  Does this make it so I’m not clogging up my home WiFi?  In other words, when I’m trying to work on a VPN and my kid is playing PS4 streaming games, and my daughter is streaming Roblox on the computer and my other kid is watching Youtube and I have all my Sonos speakers playing music my work computer can get a little slow because I’m probably clogging up my wifi network with all that is going on.  Does Boost untether my Sonos speakers from the home Wifi thus freeing up bandwidth?  I’m a little fuzzy on what Boost actually does and how it helps.

Hi, I have an unusual setup and somehow cannot get it right.Main setup is a Virgin Hub,2xPlay:1’s and Soundbar connected wirelessly.I then have a Play:1 in the garden office. It did connect wirelessly but constantly drops and disappears. It must be the distance.The office does have a Wired socket at opposite end with a switch connected for 2 laptop to connect.  I tried to plug an old wireless hub into the switch also to act as a bridge.  I connected the office Play:1 into the old hub and now my Sonos system is ONLY the office Play:1, everything else has disappeared. I connected back to main virgin hub wifi and still I only see the office Play:1.Any ideas?

Hi. I’m thinking of getting a Sony Bravia KD43XH8505BU but have noticed a few posts around saying there can be issues with syncing to the Sonos Beam.Does anyone know if there’s an issue syncing the Beam with a Sony Bravia?Many thanks,Allen.

I have recently been unable to add/play an artist's top tracks list.  I have always been able to play or shuffle play the top tracks just like an album.  What happened?  Was this an intentional change in a recent update? Thanks!
