Can Sonos update the volume controller to show the % In volume. When you set the alarm you choose volume and can see the % of the volume. But you dont know how high the % is because you can see it when you use the volume In general. So please always make the % visible
I was using a Denon receiver with left, center and right channel speakers but no surrounds. We didn’t want to run cables to the back of the room, so we replaced the Denon receiver with a Sonos Amp and added One SL’s for the rear channels. The phantom center channel the amp creates is OK, but I would like to add the actual center channel I have back in the mix. Is it possible to add it back if I add another Amp? Certainly not my ideal situation but we don’t want to do any work in the room now.Too bad Sonos doesn’t make a version for 3 speakers, I bet there are a lot of people who would like to do the same as I do.
I am renovating my home and I don’t have space for a centerpiece like Sonos arc below the TV (TV will go on a marble fireplace). Can I use two wall speakers (or Sonos One’s) for front and two in ceiling speakers as rear speakers and achieve surround sound? If so, should I use one amp or two to connect those to TV? I have the new Samsung “the frame” 65”. Thank you!
Hi, I have 1 sonos beam and 1 sonos one. I can control the volume of the sonos beam with the tv control but the sonos one does not work with the tv control. Any solution for this, thanks.
I have the Arc, two Gen3 Subs and 2 One SL's. I thought that when the Arc was joined with a Sub that the S2 app equalizer controlled bass and treble only for the Arc. I am confused, because when I increase bass via the eq I noticed that it boosts bass on the Subs. I thought thats what the Sub level on the S2 app was for. Or when I increase bass via the S2 app equalizer is it changing crossover settings to the Sub and making it seem like the Sub is being boosted? Sorry for rambling, it's just very confusing
When the Move is operating on wifi my understanding is that you have control of treble and bass via the S2 app equalizer and the app shows the Moves battery status. My question is how do you control bass and treble and monitor battery life when operating on Bluetooth? Also, does anyone have any idea of the replacement battery price?
New Move speaker turns itself on and starts playing when I open the Sonos application on my laptop. It is grouped with other speakers. Even when the other speakers (grouped) are muted, the Move will turn on and start playing all by itself. This just started happening today. The speaker is new - only have had it about a week.
Can I use the connect to play my turntable (which has a preamp already) with my play 1 (2) and sub?
I read a few older posts that the One SLs can’t be set to Full On for TV….just for music. I was hoping that Sonos had changed this setting by now. Has anyone figured that out yet? I have 2 brand new One SL’s that are about to be returned because of this lack of flexibility. Our Beam is great but we sit far enough back from the TV that we often say, “what did they just say?” Was hopeful that 2 One SL’s would have fixed this for us vs turning the Beam up so high that others complain in the rest of the house that the tv is too loud. Please advise if there is a hack for this to set the SLs up as Full On for TV. Thx!!
Hello, i try to set my beam with two one sl as 5.0 system… with my grundig vision 7. Everything works but when i watch tv, youtube or Listen to music streamed over the tv only the beam plays the sound. The other speaker are quite..I set it up as sourroundsystem in the App.my tv sends dd 5.1 to the beam. I have recently moved to a remote area without Broadband, so am using a 4G Netgear Nighthawk MR2100 as my new router. This works well with very acceptable speeds for streaming etc. However Sonos will not connect to it. I have a PlayBar and Sonos 1 that have served me well for 3-4 years. The PlayBar is hardwired from the Nighthawk. The Nighthawk recognises that a Sonos product is connected to it, but neither the Sonos iOS app or the Mac App will connect to it. I have restarted and rebooted everything multiple times and checked for updates. The Nighthawk MR2100 is not on Sonos’s list of unsupported models. Can anyone help? Thanks
I have gone through the setup process which was cumbersome as the connect amp and speaker wires all home run to a closet downstairs. So I got a 50’ ethernet cable and direct connected the connect Amp to the playbar in the family room below the TV. I set up the surrounds and they worked.I unplugged the 50ft ethernet cable however the Playbar and the Connect Amp are still both hard wired connected to ethernet and the same router. When I unplug the 50ft ethernet cable the surrounds turn off even though I set it up as instructed and both the playbar and the connect amp in the closet are hard wired to ethernet.I have done this from scratch 5 times to make sure I am not doing anything wrong Certainly there has to be a solution other than having a 50 ft cord from the closet to the family roomAny suggestions on what to do to make these work as surrounds given my configuration?
Hi I have seen that in the USA 🇺🇸 and Canada 🇨🇦 health workers get 30% discount I’m in the 🇬🇧 uk we get 15% a bit unfair really as I’m nhs frontline but I was wondering I can get a code of my sister in the USA 🇺🇸 would it work on a uk 🇬🇧 account the 30% code thanks
Hi,I have the Sonos Move and it says the battery will last for up to 900 ‘charges’. What is exactly considered a ‘charge’? Is it when I lift the speaker up and set it back down on the charger instantly? If I never take the speaker off the dock, would that just be one ‘charge’ and will help the battery last longer? Thanks!
Hi folks. I have a beam set up with my TV. Considering two One’s to create a surround sound but wonder if all 3 devices connect with each other wirelessly? I.e all the new Ones’s need is a power source… I assumed this was the case up until I started being confused with amplifiers and so on, not sure if I need an additional item to sync together wirelessly now. Any advice appreciated. Cheers,Rhys
Sonos Arc sound going down by itself. I read some of the comments and submitted a diagnostic report 2027048362 please provide information how to fix this issue
Just got the Arc, loving it, but wondering if I need to change the physical setup as it does block the TVs IR receiver. In the app I have enabled the IR repeater, but it doesn't seem to work. The TV receiver is on the far left, where is the IR repeater on the arc? Is there anything I can try?
Hey, I´d like help with confirming that the plan in my head is actually viable in reality aswell. I just picked up an old vinyl player and I want to use this together with my current and future Sonos speakers. I´m gonna buy a pre-amp for the vinyl player in order to get it to line level. I have 5 Symfonisk speakers and I´m looking to buy a Sonos Arc to pair with my TV. What I´d like to confirm is that I will be able to use the Vinyl player together with the Symfonisk and the Arc and that the Symfonisk will also work as rear speakers for the Arc together with the TV. Is that possible by only buying a Sonos Connect gen 1? A second question, do the Connect gen 1 work over Wifi or is it in need of a ethernet cable? Best regards & Thanks
I have a 5.1.2 setup (Arc, Sub, 2x One SL) for my tv, which works great. I wanted to add another single speaker in my kitchen which would also play the sound from the TV. Is that possible? In the app I don't see how to add another speaker to my existing room. Or do I make a new room and somehow group it with the TV Room set? Just want to make sure it's possible before I buy another One SL. Thanks!
I’m not seeing a desktop controller app for my MAC to link my iTunes account to the Sonos app on my iPhone. The MAcBook pro is older.
Hello, i bought a sonos surround System with sonos arc, 2 sonos One sl and sonos sub 3rd gen. But i have a projector bene w2700 Is It possible to connect the 2 device and male them work properly with surround?I tried to do so Yesterday but sonos app was giving me problems about CEC options or something likes that.
I have a playbar, sub, two sonos one(gen 2) configured using the sonos ones as surround speakers. The mic (for Alexa) works on one of the sonos ones. I believe when the sonos ones are used as surrounds, only one mic is active. Is this correct?I want the active mic to be on the other sonos one. What is the best way to accomplish this?
I have 7 devices and the system has been unstable for a few days. It drops rooms, sometimes it sends music though them, but they are not listed on the S1 controller on either mine or my wife's phones. I have reset the rooms that keep dropping, and the Linksys Velop WiFi net and it has not sorted the problem
Equipment Playbar, Subwoofer, 2x Play:1 connected to Panasonic TV 55FZ800 - All configured correctly and working. TV speakers disabled. Sonos S1 controller (due to old AMP and Play 5 in system). My issue is with the intermittent operation of rear speakers when watching sport highlights on TV.When there is studio chat this plays from Playbar only but when the chat continues and they shows some game highlight, the rear speakers kick into life and play both studio commentary and (artificial) crowd noise from the game. Does anyone else experience this and find it annoying? Is there a solution to it? Thanks in advance all for your help. Merry Christmas
S1 Controller /iMac running macOS High Sierra 10.13.6Manage Library Options are all greyed out and Sonos system not finding my iTunes Library anymore.
