Arc EQ

Question

I have the Arc, two Gen3 Subs and 2 One SL's. I thought that when the Arc was joined with a Sub that the S2 app equalizer controlled bass and treble only for the Arc. I am confused, because when I increase bass via the eq I noticed that it boosts bass on the Subs. I thought thats what the Sub level on the S2 app was for. Or when I increase bass via the S2 app equalizer is it changing crossover settings to the Sub and making it seem like the Sub is being boosted? Sorry for rambling, it's just very confusing

The crossover frequencies are fixed. Once SUB is connected it offloads much of the bass energy and extends the system’s low end. The Bass control effects all of the bass. There is a separate level control for SUB if you want more or less extreme low end.
