Hi I grouped beam and move. They were ok for music playing but the move is hardly pick up any sounds from TV play while beam and move grouped. Ungroup on autoplay was unselected. The group audio delay was set to High But it still doesn't work. Checked other threads shows the problem solved but no actual solution provided. Please help.
My move keeps cutting in and out….. It’s on the base 100% charged. In a strong WiFi location on the mesh network. Other speakers (4 right now) are working fine. Diagnostics number is below…. Do I need to call support or is there something else I can do? 508430009
Boy, I thought this would be an easy question to find an answer for. I found the same or similar question being asked in multiple ways, but none of the answers so far seem to work. I suspect this is a very basic question, so apologies in advance . . . I have an existing Sonos setup that I am using primarily for home theater & music listening. Gen2 Beam, Sub, two Play:1s. Pretty typical.I have just purchased my first Move and I’ve set it up as an independent speaker/room called “Move” (the default).I would like to add the Move to the existing setup so that it works as part of the home theater group - its main position is going to be in the dining room half of a large living/dining room area. But I also want to use this as an indi speaker when outside or upstairs in a different room. Pretty simple, eh?I thought I could accomplish this flexibility by setting up Groups on the Sonos app, but the app tells me that I need at least three rooms to begin employing groups in the way that
Sonos Move stereo pair go offline and only reconnect after daily hard reset
Hi My Move arrived this morning, but so far it seems pretty terrible from a connectivity perspective:It constantly tells me the system can’t be found, I can’t connect my Amazon Music service (despite getting the Amazon message saying it had been approved). It’s currently working, connected to my boyfriend’s phone and playing via bluetooth, but surely my app should be able to find the system? It’s just constantly whirring on the ‘searching’ wheelI’m so disappointed!
I listen to music on my Samsung phone and my iPad. With my old JBL speaker I could easily switch between the two and it also allowed multiple other devices which it stored in the register. The Roam appears not to allow this and unless I remove the Roam from my phone’s Bluetooth register, it will not pair with my iPad - also vice versa. If this an issue that can’t be resolved and I have to pair each device afresh each time, the Roam is going back to the store. A pity as it’s a lovely bit of kit, but can’t be arsed with all the faff if it doesn’t allow itself to be stored on multiple devices. any help gratefully received - thanks
Don't waste money buying Sonos Roam, does not stay connected
I have been using Roam for a few months and recently it is. I longer detectable in my products list. Attempted the factory reset many times with Roam fully charged. No Orange/White or Green light sequence every occurred. Stayed white entire time.
Anyone have simple and clear directions on how to connect my roam as an extension of my beam. thanks!
I cannot seem to get the Arc and the Move to get their WiFi signals from the same network. The Arc is connected to a Sony Bravia TV via HDMI arc, but does not have an ethernet connection. In the S2 app, I have a single WiFi network specified. But the Arc isn’t getting its WiFi signal from my primary router - the Move is. That difference is problematic when I group the Arc and Move.
A new feature on my Ubiquiti Dream Pro router (https://www.ui.com/consoles) shows my Sonos Move using the WiFi 4 standard. Is it possible to change that so Move uses WiFi 5?
I have several Sonos devices including two Sonos Move. I’ve had them for a while, and lately they have started acting wierd. Both Sonos Move (and only the Sonos Moves) suddently stops playing the music and starts with an buzzing sound. To fix this I need to start and stop the music, and then its ok for some time and then this repeats for some times.I looks like this happens in the beginning of turing on the music, and after stop/start a couple of times it works for a longer period.I have tried changing wifi channels, and ensure to only have one wifi network avalible.I have a mesh network and uses th 5Ghz net.
I have two Play:1 and one Sonos Move. The move is requiring an update, but I’m getting an Error Code 30 every time I try. I’ve tried unplugging the router (and all other WAPs), then powering down the Sonos Move, then rebooting the router, and turning the Move back on - and that still has not worked. Any other tips?
Hi, all. I have a Sonos Move. I have trouble playing via the Spotify app. I can generally get it to play via Spotify now, but I have to go through a very awkward process: after I try and fail to play through Spotify once, I have to hold the power button on the speaker for about 10 seconds (speaker won't turn off otherwise after trying to play music from Spotify) then I can use speaker as normal using Spotify. Can you tell me how I can avoid having to do this painful process every time I want to use my speaker? Thanks
I’ve had two MOVE speakers less than a week and every day I’m constantly having to either delete or restore the settings so that I can get a connection to work. I’ve done the online chat and from what questions I’m given by the robot, they would have me believe that it’s not a SONOS problem but mine. My speakers are less than 20 feet from a wifi router. My phone which I use with the speakers is less than 2 feet from the speakers. This is going on EVERY DAY that I want to use them. I mean we’re talking $800 for a system that is total crap.
He hecho todo lo recomendado: mi ISP creó una red 2.4, me puse al lado del router, reinicié el sistema. Nada funciona
I have a MOVE in fam room and one upstairs in a bedroom. If I want, can I have them play music together, like stereo? thanks

I can not find nor is there a single tradition Power Button on my Sonos Roam. Can’t find any help here either. Back to Best Buy for a Bose. Too Bad!
The microphone will not respond. Reset, still not activating. Any ideas? TY
Whenever certain devices are powered up (like our computers), the move connects to that device even though it is playing music from another device (like our mobile phone). I would like my computer not to automatically connect when I boot up but I can’t find anywhere how to do that. The only option I have found is to remove it, which is not what I want to do.
just bought roam..i did the setup downloaded the app and connected to my phone via BT however even though it shows connected on my phone (apple 12pro) and PC (macbook air) I don’t hear the sound from the Sonos Roam but i hear it from the phone and the PC as if it were not connected..Also I still don’t understand how wifi connectivity works if there is a tutorial i would appreciate it..
On holiday with my Sonos Roam initially paired with my iPad, then my wife wanted to use so I forgot the device and she paired. On reversal, I have lost all Bluetooth connection and cannot pair. Roam shows only flashing white, green or red light but no blue. I want to reset but it seems can only be done through original network - but we are in out hotel and so cannot connect. It asks if I want to reset via another I.e. hotel network but this doesn’t seem possible. Is there a way to pair the Bluetooth connection without going through initial setup via the home network? This is the second time in three months this has happened and means I will have to stop taking the Roam on holiday if I keep experiencing this level of drop out.
This would be very helpful and help with troubleshooting.
