Hi. I don’t use my surround sound much as I’m away with work. Since installing the new app I can’t seem to get anything to work. I can’t connect my 2 Sonos one SL and sub to my arc. The arc is plugged into to tv works fine but nothing else is connected can anyone help???

I have deleted and reinstalled my arc and sub, reset the router and after a little while my arc looses connection to my WiFi so no Sonos or  Alexa will work.

System consists of a Samsung TV using eARC output directly connected to Beam2 with a pair of Ones as surrounds and a miniSub using wifi. All was working, NO issues.Replaced Beam2 with Arc now NOTHING works. Samsung doesnt even see the Arc as a connected eARC speaker like the Beam 2 did?! I have the Arc connected to wifi but TV does not pass through sound also the mini-Sub and surrounds went missing?!The NEW Sonos app SUCKS as it’s NOT intuitive at all! Any suggestions as to tricks to make it work?? Thank you all!  

Hello everyone. First time here seeking answers. I have a Sonos amp with a gen3 sub. Can't seem to keep the sub to stay connected to amp. When I can  get to connect, I check for system updates and it states everything is up to date. WiFi Connection is strong in other components throughout the home and their isn't any other components that use WiFi near the sub. Any pointers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 

Hi There,Not sure if anyone here has this issue, I have an Arc and a Sub, the Sub constantly disappears from the app and I have to either factory reset it or reboot my router. When I reboot my router, it re-appears and works as normal and after a few hours it just disconnects again. Sometimes is gone-gone. Sometimes the app just says “Sub - Not Connected”. I had a hard time reaching support over the phone and when I finally got a hold of someone, the guy asked for my diagnostic and he said the only fix is to hardwire the Arc and the Sub directly to my router, I told him that my router is upstairs and I also have access point across the room, he then said, that is your issue, your wifi is bad and the only fix is to hardwire!!! I’m an IT guy and tried to explained him that this was not the case, I have great wifi coverage and… Sonos is all about WiFi, it is ridiculous that his fix is to hardwire the system. Message says Playbar added but may not appear in your system. Tells me to go to finish setup in system settings, starts all over and goes in circles.I have done the system reset numerous times and goes all the way through the set up and ends with that message. When I open app speaker is not an option to use after doing this I’ve and over. Haven’t used with app since I got a new phone.  Speaker was working (watched a movie) ½ before I decided to install app again.Thanks ahead of time.   

No logical reason for it to stop working as no changes to any other equipment. Beam will not connect to Sonos app or Spotify app on iphone. Stuck on searching for nearby products and can’t find it. I have done the following with no success:did a factory reset - it found it briefly then it dropped off again rebooted WIFI router rebooted iphone uninstalled and reinstalled Sonos app on iphone.Any other suggestionsThanks

Hi,I have had a Beam for a few years and initially it seemed to work fine with my then very old Sony television. It went unused a while and then I acquired a newish Sony tv and thought I would make use of it again.  i connected it to my Apple TV and it is easily selectable as an Airplay receiver and works fine. The issue was when watching broadcast tv, or content from my Amazon stick - the tv would not recognise it and the app - which is a horrible thing to use - could not recognise the tv.  Now acquired another newish tv, a Samsung, connected via the one Arc port but exactly the same issue as with the Sony while working fine when used via the Apple TV.  I’m quite annoyed at the time I have spent on this just to achieve a simple goal of my Beam working in whatever mode I need it to. It should surely be a lot more plug and play? Any advice very welcome  Thanks, Craig        

The configuration disappear after 2 days. for example I configurate : tweeteer 4 bass 1 and  true play but after a couple days everything is reset again. why that? Someone that has the same problem?   

Hello,I have a ARCANA HDFURY (with the latest firmware 0.87), SONY XBR-65X900F TV, APPLE TV 4 K and SONOS ARC. Before I wasn't able to get DOLBY ATMOS now I've got it but now I can't turn off my SONY TV  with SONY or APPLE TV remote,Have tried couple set ups on the ARCANA without success Any help will be appreciated thanks

I have a Play 1 (in my office) a Play 3 near my reading chair in the living room and a Beam Sound Bar also in the living room.  Prior to the new controller updates, I could pair the Play 3 with the Sound Bar so I didn’t have to crank the Sound Bar up for the entire room.  If the new app can still do that, it’s no longer obvious as how works now.  Every time I try pair it to the TV, it still wants to play the radio station it was originally connected to,

I have 3 yr old arc which was working fine until sometime ago I turn off for few months. Now after on it won’t detect, it won’t factory reset(press join + insert power)  does anyone face similar issue? what is solution

I have a last generation sound bar I am trying to connect to new network. it continues to come back “wrong password”. I know the password is correct

After a dozen uses my arc does not power up. It is past the warranty since I have not been living at this house which I now am. I have spent several hours on hold. Not able to reach anyonr. From what I gather Sonos does not repair their products. It is a lot of money to spend when I am looking at buying several additional speakers to add to my Arc. I am perplexed. I will try one more time to conact them. If that does not work I will spend a lot of money on a different system. Also I happen to have a Sonos 1 in my Florida home that is 8 years old. Several speakers with it and non of it ever gave me any issues. Has Sonos quality gone down?

My Sonos Beam suddenly stopped working. Voice and Alexa not working Does not connect to appleTV Does not work via Wifi DOES connect to phone / spotify / Sonos App via ethernet cable DOES NOT connect to Voice or Alexa via ethernet cableCan anyone help?  Thanks,  

My Airplay on my Arc was giving problems (I was having to reboot it every time to show up in Airplay), so I figured I’d do the update.  BAD MOVE.Now, I cannot connect my Surrounds (two Ones) or my Sub to the Arc anymore.  They did not appear at all in the app.Did a full factory reset on everything Chose the Forget system in the app Detected, Added the Arc, chose a brand new room name Detects the Ones and added them to the room went through the setup/audio chime added them as surrounds to the Arc was prompted to select the left surround as chiming appeared in the System Settings as RoomID 2, RoomID 3 (The Arc is labeled as “RoomID”) However, they both show as “Not Connected” and “We were unable to custom tune your RoomID. Hey all,My current home theater is powered by a receiver with an Apple TV 4K/Nintendo Switch/PS5/my current speakers outputting via HDMI to my television.  I’ve connected my Arc/dual 300s/ sub and they can play Sonos Radio and my connected music services fine, but I can’t get the television/receiver audio to play through the Sonos speakers. I have the receiver into an HDMI port on the television, and the Arc plugged into the HDMI ARC port on the TV. I’ve also set the television to output audio via the HDMI ARC port, but no dice.  Am I forgetting something obvious? Thanks in advance!

How to remove two ERA 100’s as the surround speakers and change them with two ERA 300’s?  Currently I am getting an error message- and I am unable to remove the ERA 100’s as the surround speakers?!My ARC/ system is up 2 date.

I was an evangelist for this brand, and I have to go back to everyone and tell them to stay far, far away.The new app sucks.  The sonos compatibility with just about everything sucks.  Things that WERE working will just stop, malfunction and never work again.For whatever reason, my Airplay now requires me to unplug the arc before it’ll even see it at all.  Every time.Random audio dropouts happen that didn’t happen when I bought the product, or I would’ve returned it.Since using the new app and installing the Arc update, the Sub and Surrounds cannot be found.  About to do factory reset on everything.The only reason I got this Arc/Sub/Surrounds that it was easy to use and set up.  Well, it’s only problems from here on out.  Stay far away.

I bought Sonos Arc, connected it, installed the App. I configure it, everything goes fine, error 1101 appears - it cannot update the device, I try again, it can't be done again, it says it adds a new system, but it doesn't add it and I don't have any device on the list, I reset the device, router, etc., nothing helps

I have a big open plan living space with a TV in the corner, and a great Sonos audio set up for music.The Sonos system is 2xOne’s set up as a stereo pair, linked to a Mini Sub.  And in addition there’s a separate Sonos One on the other side of the room just putting out a mono signal.  When I play music through this set up (which is in essence 2 Sonos systems linked together), it sounds fantastic and the sound covers the entire room, where ever you are. Love it.  I could upgrade the 2nd system to a stereo at some point, but frankly it all sounds great already. Now the TV sound is crappy, I know that.  I was watching the Glastonbury coverage the other day and the TV wasn’t up to scratch for music.  So I had a ridiculous set-up whereby I played the video on the TV with the BBC iPlayer app (volume turned down), and then used my phone to stream the audio through the Sonos system, again using the BBC iPlayer App.  Obviously, this is a silly way of doing things and the video & audio were

ERA 100 is connected in stereo + GEN3 sub.Today I updated the Sonos App (Android) and I noticed that the subwoofer is much quieter than before. Regardless of whether I'm listening to music or watching movies on 5.1 Netflix. I boosted the sub to +10db but that just doesn't work well.ERA 100 and ARC work well.I uninstalled the whole configuration and reinstalled it, but nothing changed.It seems that the problem is in the SONOS 2 upgrade!
