I have spent hundreds of pounds on the system from Sonos. I have two Era 100 speakers which constantly disappear from my network and app, and do not connect to the Sonos Beam 2nd gen. I have tried everything at least three times, and the Beam still does not see the Era 100s (stereo) on the app and in my system. I don’t really understand how the Sonos people can sell faulty products with a non-working app and pretend that they are high-end products. This is rubbish! I think I am going to ask for a full refund! They have also changed the streaming quality  in my opinion on the older speakers to make you upgrade, as they do not sound as good as they used to! do you guys expirience the same????Class action, anyone?

If you are trying to pair the Era 100s with the Beam as surrounds, then you will have to remove them from the stereo pairing first. Then you will be able to add them to the Beam as surrounds. I bought a pair of 100s about a month ago for surrounds to my Arc. They are a great addition.

If the 100s are just for stereo music then grouping them with the Beam should work.

Lastly, even though Sonos is markets as a wireless audio solution, if you are able to hardwire the Beam to your router/network, it may allow it to wirelessly talk to the 100s a bit better.
