Hi,I have 2 Amp's tot support my surround setup. Once the Amp that is connected to the rear speakers is set to act as the surround set I'm not able to use them as a separate room, both Amp's are assigned tot the same room, playing the same music…Can I keep the rear and front Amp separated? So they can play independent from each other while not using them in the surround TV setup?ThanksGG

Pretty often I have to unplug my Beam gen 2 and reboot it for voices to be normal. When I turn on my LG OLED, Apple TV and Beam the voices/sounds are pretty often more bass and deep (thus distorted and not the correct voices of actors etc). If I unplug everything it usually goes back to normal. The issue has becoming more and more frequent. Any ideas?

I have this device from CORSAHD: https://a.co/d/5o6AZirIt works great with my bedroom LG TV that does not have eArc and my Sonos Arc. It also has four HDMI In ports so you don’t need a separate splitter like you do with the Arcana. Lossless Dolby Atmos passes to the Arc just fine. The one issue I’m having is with any DTS-HD track. It converts every DTS-HD track to lossy DTS Surround. DTS-HD 2.0 becomes DTS Surround 2.0. DTS-HD 5.1 and 7.1 both become DTS Surround 5.1. When I tried changing my Blu-ray player from Auto to PCM, I just got stereo PCM for DTS-HD 5.1 and 7.1 tracks. I can’t find a way to get Multichannel PCM 7.1 like I can when using TV with eArc. I don’t think changing any settings on the TV should matter because I’m sending the audio directly to the Sonos Arc. The CORSAHD device should just be passing through audio, so I’m not sure why I would not get Multichannel PCM. Any ideas?

Why does my beam suddenly make a crazy loud buzzing noise when I pause Netflix?System was fine and suddenly started acting crazy. Using hdmi-earc from tv to beam.

Hi Everyone, My surround sound system is not working when tv is first turned on. The work around is to unplug the TV after it has been turned and plug it back and only then the surround sound would work. I have changed HDMI  a couple time, problem persist. Also, I would ensure that the output is set correctly. The surround sound works fine with music from when using the Sonos app.  I have two Era 300, two subwoofers gen 4, and one arc ultra.  Thanks.

Mein TV Gerät hat heute keinen Ton über die Sonos Beam, gestern ausgeschaltet-alles normal- nichts verstellt, aber ich bekomme keinen Ton

It has been confirmed that when using two Sonos Ones as rear speakers with Sonos Arc, they operate as 5.1. When playing the following 7.1.4 test tone, the sound of Ls and Lrs is simulated exactly the same, which proves that the Sonos Arc + Sonos One surround pair operates as 5.1.https://music.apple.com/kr/album/sequence-pink-noise-7-1-4/1748110988?i=1748110990&lsBut I found one article : https://www.sonos.com/en-us/blog/5-1-vs-7-1-surround-soundThis article says that if you pair a Sonos Arc with a pair of Sonos Era 100s, it will work as 7.1.So my question is... if you pair Sonos Era 100 with your Sonos Arc, in a 7.1.4 test tone, can you feel the difference between Ls and Lrs?https://music.apple.com/kr/album/sequence-pink-noise-7-1-4/1748110988?i=1748110990&ls

Hi, just set up a new LG OLED C4 with my new Beam gen 2.when I configured system initially it didn’t work (just Beam and Sub) until I spotted in Sonos app beam needed to connect to tv. I then added 2 x play 1 as surround speakers. Now the eARC hdmi on TV is not being seen by the Beam.  any suggestions?

So I have a strange one. I have added my remote control to my playbar by doing the remote control setup.it learns my remote volume and mute buttons successfully. In fact it successfully recognises my remote just by pressing volume up.Once setup is complete when I press volume up, it doesn’t work. No indicator light, nothing. Even through it successfully just learned the remote. Weirdly, volume down works fine.I have even used other random remotes and taught it random buttons for vol up, vol down and mute. And it accepts and learns them fine. But again, when I actually press the exact volume up button after successful completion it doesn’t work. Any ideas?

I have been trying for some time now different hdmi cables (including the stock cable that came with arc ultra), system options in horizon ultra proyector and sonos app, I own an arc ultra and sub4. So far this xgimi projector model is supposed to support Atmos in its eArc output but no luck yet. Is there anyone in community who could confirm my suspicion or possibly share some feedback on how to make this setup deliver Atmos? Thanks a lot.

I am following directions on how to connect my era to my bar on the tv and it’s not connecting. My Bluetooth is on   I have this issue often

I have a 2024 Samsung Frame TV with a Sonos Arc. the HDMI is in the correct socket. (3rd HDMIarc). question is: When I mirror a movie to the TV from computer the TV defaults to TV sound. the Sonos is disconnected, can’t run mirrored movie sound through Sonos Arc? Moderator edit: Changed “Sonos Arc Beam” to “Sonos Arc” for clarity

I just purchased the speaker Sonos Era 300 and I tried to connected with my Sony TV ( on parallel with the TV’s speakers) without result. It looks like that I have to choose if I want to play from TV’s speakers or from ERA 300 via bluetooth.I would like to ask what could be the possible options to connect and play on parallel with the TV’s speakers. Is the only option to purchase a Sonos soundbar, connected with the TV with HDMI and then from the application of Sonos configure as a multi speaker?

Added a beam 2 to my Sony a80j. Connected using supplied hdmi cable via eARC output.  Immediately had annoying audio sync issues. Have restarted everything (tv, soundbar, cable box) multiple times with no difference. Have played with audio settings on tv to no effect.  Problems are only when watching cable tv (Arris TiVo box). Streaming apps on tv seem to work fine. Can sometimes fix cable issues with Dialogue Sync on Sonos app but it’s never perfect and issues vary by channel. Plus have to adjust sync on app every time I switch to streaming.  After several weeks of this I am very close to removing the beam altogether and accepting it is a complete waste of money. I’ve tried all settings on tv but is there an agreed upon best set of settings? Is there anything I can change in the cable box settings? Any other suggestions welcomed.  Current tv settings fyi (have tried multiple combinations)av sync autoeARC autodigital audio out PCMpass through mode auto

Trying to install Arc Ulta for first time.  Go to step in install were wanted to connect with my WiFi network.  Connection failed, so tired wired connection with same results.  Did factory reset.  Same results.  Any suggestions?

Hi, I’ve purchased the Sonos Beam Gen2. So far I’m a slightly unimpressed for a few reasons. First one, the sound is inconsistent between terrestrial TV channels.  Example, watching something on ITV, sound is spot on, clear surround sound.  Go to E4, Big Bang Theory, and the sound is tinny at best.  Then back to ITV to watch a movie and the sound is muffed, difficult to hear what is being said.  I’ve fiddled around with the settings but doesn’t do anything to improve the sound, luck of the draw per channel.  I’ve a Philips TV which at the moment is producing a more superior sound experience on terrestrial TV.  Anyone any tips to improve this?Streaming services such as Prime, Disney and Paramount so far seem consistent with the sound, but that leads onto the next thing that hasn’t impressed me.  I purchased the Sonos because I want to experience the rich sounds especially Dolby Atmos.  Imagine my surprise to find all three streaming services require premium subscription to enjoy Dolby A

Hi guys, I have problems with Arc Ultra and my surround system.I switched from Arc to Arc Ultra several days ago. From that moment, I noticed that randomly LEDs on the surround and sub blink white for a while, then it return to work good, but only surround speakers (IKEA Table lamp Gen 2). The sub gen 3, has solid orange light and not working! I can see in the app as disconnected! I have to reboot it to work again. What I can do? Thanks!

I’m trying to get my Samsung frame TV remote control to directly increase or decrease the volume on the Sonos Beam.   I’ve paired the remote control with the Sonos beam in the Sonos app. However, every time I use it, although it works correctly, the frame TV shows an optical message on the screen which is very irritating   The Beam is connected to the frame TV using a HDMI cable, and it is plugged into the optical port on the frame TV junction box via and HDMI to optical adopter from Sonos.  any help on this would be wonderful

I have an LG OLED TV and have bought a Beam 2 to add to my sub mini and era 100’s to create a home theatre. My TV has Dolby Atmos and all the settings for this are available.. until I connect my Beam through the HDMI ARC port.No sources I use show Dolby Atmos, and all the TV settings are greyed out.I had a call with Sonos support who connected to my system and confirmed all settings and connections are correct. He then convinced me that the Dolby 5.1 I am getting is better than Atmos.I am not convinced that it is based on my Sons experience with Samsung & Beam. Can anyone advise? I am considering returning the Beam as I feel I am not getting the best experience for my money which is disappointing having built up the system based on Sonos products Any advice is welcome.

I brought my Sonos system from Germany to India. It’s not getting connected.

I have a Sony Bravia TV, Apple TV 4K, and Sonos Beam. I'm experiencing connectivity issues with my audio setup. My current setup:- On my Sony TV: I've selected "Use external speakers"- On my Apple TV: I've set Audio Format to "Stereo"- I'm using an HDMI cable to connect the Beam to my TV's HDMI ARC port (HDMI 3)The Issue:Every time I turn on my TV, the audio doesn't automatically route to my Sonos Beam. The only way to get sound through the Beam is by manually accessing the Apple TV menu and selecting the Beam as an "external speaker" each time.Has anyone experienced this issue or found a solution? I'd appreciate any help!

Ich betreibe einen Arc ultra und 2 era 300 bei tv Funktion stottert ein Lautsprecher immer wieder bei normaler Musikwiedergabe ist alles in Ordnung woran liegt das? Moderator edit:Google Translate-I have an Arc Ultra and 2 Era 300s. When using the TV, one speaker keeps stuttering. During normal music playback everything is fine. Why is that?

Hi,I recently purchased two era 100’s to add to my Arc Ultra and Sub 4 as surrounds. One issue I’m experiencing is that with certain PCM/Stereo sources e.g. Skynews on YouTube it constantly tries to passthrough the audio to the surrounds but it is not consistent and I get on/off sounds which is actually very annoying. For the most part I do not have this issue and if I listen to France24 it does not try passthrough the audio to the surrounds. Why is there this inconsistency when listening to Stereo/PCM sources and is there any way to correct it other than having to disable the surrounds when listening to such sources? I would prefer and expect stereo sources to not try use the surrounds at all.Thanks.

The Sonos Beam Gen 2 is a 5-channel soundbar. It outputs sound corresponding to the L, C, R, Ls, Rs channels. If you add rear speakers such as the One SL to the soundbar, it will change to a 7.1 system. If you pair the rear speakers, the rear speakers will be in charge of the Lrs, Rrs channels. The soundbar will be in charge of L, C, R. The question is then. Will the Ls, Rs channels still be routed to the soundbar? Or will they be routed to the rear speakers?

Is there a way to set up night sound to turn on and off at certain times of the day?
