Hi, yesterday I purchased arc ultra and after 9 years switched from playbar. Till yesterday I had no issues streaming music via airplay. Since yesterday I tried everything to make it work and nothing helps … Few details : My setup : One and One SL as surround, SUB ( probably gen 1), sonos arc ultra. With TV everything works great, through sonos app I am able to stream the music ( even by Apple Music or Spotify app - only if I use it by Sonos App) I tried to reset the whole setup. Tried to reset the app, erased the app and installed again, erased apple music and spotify, and installed again I restored again everything to factory setting and build the system from scratch. Nothing helps.  On wireless connection everything work flawless, only when I put the Ethernet cable it the arc ultra stops connecting by airplayI haven’t tried disconnecting the system and checking each of the components separately, but what’s the sense ? I want to use it in this configuration, not separately ?  

Sometimes when the TV is NOT on, there will be a couple of seconds of audio coming from the Arc.  It happens every few days.  Any ideas?Inputs to the TV are:  Cable box;  Roku Streaming box; & Oppo BluRay player.Note:  The cable box and the Roku do not have shutdown capability via the remotes, so they usually remain powered up. 

I noticed on my Sonos  home theater (arc ultra, 300s, sub4) all LEDs keep running even product is in low power or idle mode. Sonos should roll out a feature to turn off all LEDs when they are in standby or use a diff color. There is no way for us to know that products are in low power mode.  thanks!  

This topic falls somewhere between a conversation and a question. When there is need for a multi-solution sound system with limited funds Sonos might not be the optimal choice, but with what I assume to be simple means it could be a better choice. Speaking from personal experience: I’ve previously bought 2 Era 100s and use them as TV-speakers awaiting an upgrade on the Arc to later use them as surrounds. Meanwhile I own a turntable which I’m looking to hook up to the same system (disclaimer; I am well aware that it’s sub-optimal and that there are better ways to enjoy your vinyls, though for the sake of convinience, this would be my personal preference).It is common knowledge that when the era 100s, or 300s for that matter, loses its capability to use the line-in function when used as surround speakers. I connected my TV ( Philips ) to my Sonos Play Bar and Sub, works fine, but when I ad one or two extra Play ones the signal for these extra speakers is very unstable ! Somebody any tips !? 

I don’t know if I have a TV settings problem, Roku settings problem or Sonos setting problemI have an LG 65” Class C3 Series OLEDI have my Arc Ultra cabled up to the eARC port on the TV (With a new HDMI cable)My 2 HDMI devices are an NVIDIA Shield and a Roku Ultra (2024) (Both with new HDMI cables)Anytime i shut off the TV when it is on the NVIDIA Shield input and return later (the time away seems to need to be about 20+ minutes), I turn on the TV, and the Shield is displayed just fine, but when I switch the TV input to the Roku, I’ll see the Roku Screen Saver screen for a second, and then the TV shuts off.  When I turn the TV back on everything works fine.  The TV does not shut off while I am actively using it.  I can switch between Shield and Roku just fine.  Only happens when the TV has been off for some time.I’ve checked for any sleep settings on the Roku and turned them off, no sleep settings on the TV, not sure if there is anything in the Sonos ARC I can look at, but just annoyed

Hi I have had my sonos surround working for couple of years all of a sudden it has stopped working.My setups isTwo sonos one second generation with voice assistant Sonos subSonos Playbar I have tried and resetting each speaker several times and I can confirm they all work individually, but whenever I tried too set them up as surround sound, it doesn't connect. I have even tried it with another playback that I have and it's still the same result I am getting.I am not really sure what is going in, I have updated all the software.After the setup is completed it just shows two items in the room not connected and sonos sub not connected.

Cannot get any volume on our Beam.

When watching movies the noise and music is way too loud relative to the dialogue. I have enhanced speech dialogue on as well as night mode and ambient mode. I’ve tried lowering the max volume and then I just can’t hear the dialogue. I’ve also lowered the bass all the way. Any suggestions? I have the play bar and Sonos one speakers 

Good morning! I have a 75" TV, a mini sub and an arc ultra in my room. All that equipment that I mentioned is in front of my bed. Now I bought 2, it was 300 to put them on the dry wall of my bed about 3' away From my head, the rasks I bought for the wall are annoying. My question is whether the 2 era 300s have to face the wall where the TV, arc ultra and sub mini or in direction to my head?

When I tune to 4K/HDR content and/or content broadcasting in Dolby Atmos, I see monikers in the upper right corner of my LG OLED G4 that read “HDR” and “Dolby Atmos via sound bar”.Which device is delivering these badges to the TV? Is it the TV itself that is recognizing the video content for the “HD” logo and the Sonos is somehow confirming the content via eARC and sending the audio “Dolby Atmos via Sound Bar” badge? Just curious. Have a Sonos beam from 2/2019. All working great until now. New tv and new iPhone 16. Want to reconnect to Sonos app, which is now Sonos 2. Can’t finish set up dies with error 1,106 during update. any ideas?thanks 

Sound drop outs with Sonos Arc and crackling. I bought my Sonos Arc a couple of years ago. It had this problem to begin with, however I changed the settings and unplugged everything including the wifi and then plugged everything back in and it has been working fine for about a year or so, however recently it has started happeneing again and I’m not sure why. I have done the same things as I did before however to no avail.  I’m hoping someone here can help me with this. Many Thanks.

Hi,I just replaced my Beam (Gen 2) by a Sonos Arc Ultra, in my home theatre system.But now, the Sub Gen 3 seems to be a lot less powerful.Before, with the Beam, when I pushed the Sub level adjustment to +2 or +3, i was able to balst the entire room… Now, even if I choose +8 on the Sub level adjustment, I feel it but very light. I can’t have the same “bass blast effect”.Obviously, I completely reinstalled the system in the App and reseted each element of my home theatre system when I installed the Arc Ultra (included x2 Era 100 at the back).Does anyone knows why this is happening (maybe someone at Sonos)...?Thanks a lot.

I have had this problem for weeks now and its driving me ABSOLUTELY insane:https://vimeo.com/1043974342/466fa81a16?share=copyOnce I got my Goole Streamer (basically same as Chromecast) I connected it to an HDMI Port on my Xiaomi F2 SmartTV. My Sonos Beam is connected to another HDMI Port (eArc Port).However, I quickly noticed that the picture was flashing back and forth - HDMI 1 (Chomecast) - black - HDMI 1 - No Signal - HDMI 1.....I also noticed, that most of the time, if I turn of CEC (which also does not let me control the TV (Sonos) volume anymore), this flashing usually stops a couple seconds after turning off CEC. If I turn CEC on again afterwards, it usually works for some time, until I randomly turn on my TV a couple hours later and its back to the same glitching again..Has anyone got an idea why this is happening? Its driving ne CRAZY. 

Found some varying answers from a historical forum search so I’m hoping to find some current opinions (as well as consolidation of my questions into one thread).I am looking to build a new system which I’m guessing will be a Beam (Gen 2), a Sub MIni and 2x Era 100s.   There is a chance that I might go Sub instead of Sub Mini but I don’t think this impacts my questions:I will most likely be looking at wall mounting the surrounds.  (This a room renovation so the electricians will put power outlets wherever I ask).   Would it be better to have the surrounds mounted on the side walls (but slightly behind the main viewing area) facing inward OR on the back wall facing forward? What features should I look for in a TV purchase to make this most compatible for this system? Is it correct to say that I don’t need any other components beyond the above for great home theater? Assuming the answer to 3) is “yes”, what else would I need if I changed my mind and decided to add any legacy stereo compon

Hello,Newbie here, first time posting and new to Sonos. I’m looking into installing a surround sound system in a medium to large open room for watching movies and playing music. Was thinking of getting the Arc Ultra, Sub 4 and a pair of Sonance 8” ceiling speakers with the Sonos amp. Using ceiling speakers due to wife doesn’t want to see  speakers on stands behind couch. Thank you for ,the assistance. Should I connect amp and Arc sound bar to router with network ?Will my Samsung tv remote control my audio in tv mode?

Hello. I don t understand why my AirPod stay 2 seconds connect to my tv and after disconnect to go to my beam. Even if I change the sound settings on my tv.

Dose it make sense to add a Mini sub to my Arc Ultra? Or do I just bite the bullet and get a Sub 3 or 4?Leaning towards the Mini,but will it work?

I am trying to connect a Ray soundbar to a relatively old TV.The TV has an SPDIF Out. But it is not working at all. I have tried to use an optical cable which has a mini Toslink connector at one end.Do I need to buy a separate converter?

Himy beam gen 2 has decided to change the volume on its own if I turn it up it just goes down 

Hi.I have a playbar that i  move to my cabin , i have uppgrade to arc ultra Home.I have problem with connecting the playbar , dont have sound out from my tv.And i have TRIED EVERYTHING , is there  some trick  some have ? i will be grateful. 

Hi. Installing a new system. For some reason it has established 2 systems on the same router. This means I cannot connect my 100s to the Arc Ultra (system2) as surround sound because they are claimed by system1. Tried  ‘forget’ function multiple times. Doesn’t work. Cannot find help completely deleting a system anywhere. HELP!!
