Arc Ultra cant connection to Roku TV

I just received my new Arc Ultra soundbar, the speaker setup itself was successful but when I run the TV connection using the HDMI Arc cord that was included, my TV does not find the connection. I see the HDMI port on my TV recognizes the connection, my CEC is enabled but it won’t display Sonos device in order to connect. No sound comes from the soundbar to TV connection.

I’ve updated the software, I’ve unplugged the hdmi connection and restarted both my tv and soundbar, then ran the setup again. Nothing works.

any ideas?? I’m super bummed I can’t use my new setup.

Where is that cable plugged in, on the TV set? The point of the question was, in general there is only one HDMI-ARC port of the several on the TV set, the Sonos must be plugged in to that one. Any device can be plugged into the others, but the TV ‘sends out’ the ARC via that HDMI port only.

What TV HDMI connector are you using to connect the Ultra to the TV the ARC or eARC?

I'm not much at TV questions but I've seen suggestions here to disconnect all HDMI cables. Power down the TV and Arc Ultra for a couple minutes then go through the setup again step by step.

Yes, the one that was included in the soundbar box.

It might help all of us if you were also to tell us which Roku TV you’re using, or perhaps even link to a manual for it.

What d you mean you can’t see the Sonos device? When following the setup for connecting to your TV the images will appear on your device (phone or tablet) not your TV screen.  Maybe I'm not understanding your issue?
