Well, I’ve been experiencing issues with my Arc, Sony Bravia and Directv box and with the help of Support, have narrowed it down to this...I go to TV Setup, unplug the eArc and Directv HDMI cables, then go thru the TV Setup steps to connect Arc to TV and it works.  I watch for a while, then turn off the system via my Directv remote.  Hours later, when I turn the system back on, Arc is no longer working and has disconnected from TV.  What’s going on?  This is very frustrating.

I have my Sonos Arc and sub hooked up to a TCL television. I have the sub connected to the router with an ethernet cable because I was having issues with that previously but that hasn't been a problem anymore.  This morning it has started randomly switching to the TV sound and then it'll switch back to the Sonos.  I turned off TV autoplay like I saw somewhere but I don't know what to do since it is still having that problem.  I turned it off and on I made sure everything is plugged in. What else can I do? This is really annoying me.

I have an older Beam and I would like to get surround sound out of my TV (Beam connected to TV via HDMI ARC).  Thinking of buying a couple of ERA 100s for rear speakers, but some of the stuff I read seem to indicate I’ll get a 75ms delay out of the ERA 100s.  Is this true?  What does the community recommend for this config?

Having troubles connecting epson projector with roku and sonos amp.

I am having a hard time finding what everything in the app does and what each option does.  I see lots of people saying their ir repeaters aren’t working.  How do I know mine are.  Is it just for the volume adjust   Do I need all the options for IR turned on. The ir light repeater   Where do I find a description of everything available in the app and if it needs to be on or what each does.   Even called support and well chatted and they told me go to support online and that’s it.  Guess I was asking too many questions for him. So he just gave me the link for support which is where I started the chat from.  So please any info on the IR would be helpful. Thanks

Have seen similar cries for help but the solutions suggested pointed to setting changes I either dont have (or cannot find!) LG OLED 55C 14LB   Connected to SKY Stream Puck  SONOS BEAM GEN 2  connected to TV via HDMI port 2 (eARC) but output on Netflix, Prime and Apple TV+ although showing as Dolby Atmos on TV are showing as Stereo PCM on Sonos AppLike others the sound when playing music through the Beam shows as being in Atmos and is greatWhen I disconnect the Beam Dolby Atmos shows as enabled in TV settings but when I connect the Sonos supplied HDMI lead the Advanced Settings on the TV are “greyed out”. Had 2 completely unsuccessful calls to LG support and after 90 minutes Sonos support gave upHelp required please

Good day everyone. My in-laws are having a strange problem that I can’t seem to figure out. They own a Sonos Beam that had been connected to a Samsung TV for a few years. One day, it just stopped playing TV sound and when you ask Alexa to play music, she responds and says now playing(whatever you asked for) but the music never actually plays. I’ve updated the Beam and the Tv as well as doing a factory reset on the Beam. Today, I moved it to a different room with a different tv, same issue. I’ve been using Sonos products for years and this one has me stumped. I’m open to any suggestions. 

My username is Numpty, because I am a 70 year old numpty. I have a Sonos system with sound bar, two speakers and a sub woofer.  I bought the system about six years ago and think its a a 5.2 with a beam bar - my sons sorted it out. I’m with Sky who are now trying to persuade me to buy their glass system - the whole works. I dont think Sky (expensive)  has a compatible Glass system with Sonos. Suggestions please for something that works with Sonos and wont cost me an arm and a leg. Please remember I am a numpty and technical jargon will fly over my head faster than an F16.

I have a Sony Bravia, Arc and Directv.  Every time I start up the system, the Arc shows its screensaver on the screen through eHDMI.  By messing with the inputs, i eventually find the Directv picture, but I’m never sure how I got there.  What am I doing wrong?  Help

My tv remote is adjusting the Arc volume just fine. Arc "Set Up  TV Remote" Step thus fails because sonos can't tell the remote is working. Sonos states it didn't notice a signal from the remote. This even though the light on the arc is winking as I select volume up. What gives? How do I complete this set up? Do I need to complete this srt up?

I have bought a sonos arc this week, however I cannot get Dolby Atmos to work, I have it hooked up to an LG 55UP770066lb. I have tried to connect it through HDMI using the ARC outlet, and also through Optical, jet in the app it keeps saying Audio In: Dolby Multichannel PCM 2.0 .

Anyone have issues with sonos bar update taking hours.  Can I restart it?   Do I need to unplug and bar and have it start over?

OK, I am about to pull my hair out and bin this SONOS. . but before I do this, can someone please help me. I have 4 Play 1 Originals. ( admittedly dated now but they are only speakers) and have just bought a SONOS beam two as the Play 5 does not have an optical cable, ugh! and there is an issue.  Anyways, I digress, can anyone please help me set up the SONOS BEAM GEN 2 with my PLAY 1 gen 1 please, it says there is an option for surround sound but the APP 2 cannot see them speakers.. This system is becoming way over complicated to be honest, was great when they started but now, they are getting on the band wagon.. and stuff not compatible. 

I replaced my old Apple TV HD with a newer Apple TV 4K yesterday and have great video but lost the audio. After taking down the wall mounted TV I noticed that the optical output from my TV was not hooked up to the optical input in my Sonos Playbar. So my question is, how did I get audio from my old ATV HD to my Playbar without the optical connection? The only way it could occur is through the ethernet connection (my entire Sonos household system is wired via ethernet rather than Wi-Fi).The reason I disconnected the digital optical input from my old ATV to my Playbar is because the optical output from my Sony TV is damaged - the connection is loose. So I would like to again get audio from my new ATV 4K to my Playbar via ethernet again, but I cannot figure out how to do that. All of the documentation I can find about hooking up my Sonos Playbar (it is the older model not the newer one - I purchased it in 2016 or 2017) directs me to hook it up to the TV via an optical cable.Any suggestion

I had a 4 year old sub that died. I sent it back for 30% off a new one. So to replace it will cost me (with tax) $600 for a 4 year old $800 sub. $150 a year to rent a sub seams unrealistic to me. Now that Sonos has become a big company they just don’t give a crap!I asked for help… fix it, replace with referb or larger discount. NOPE...not even SORRY. Just tough S___!I have a house full of Sonos & have recommended to several friends.NO more…

I recently purchased a new projector and a Sonos Arc when my last projector left this world.  I got an Arcana Fury (based on a lot of recommendations in the Sonos Community) in order to switch signals so I could get Dolby Atmos out of the Arc.  The sound quality is fantastic.  But when I am surfing content in streaming services from Apple TV, the sound and picture are constantly cutting out before switching to the new signal.Is this an expected experience?  It is borderline annoying for me, but my better half is pulling her hair out.

Is there a chance Sonos can add a third option for the surround playback to keep the surrounds in sleep mode as long as I don’t listen to surround content?  I have the following issues with the current solution:I use a Sonos AMP, my front speaker are way better than the Ikea Symfonisk I use as surrounds, hearing the same music from behind but slightly different is disturbing and not enjoyable I want to save on energy if the surrounds can stay in sleep modePlease add a option to have no audio playback on PCM Stereo no matter if its in Audio or TV Mode. this is probably the most basic feature and I’m shocked that I’m forced to hear surrounds when It is not appropriate at all.  Best regards,Tim

Hello, I am using Sonos Arc with Sub Mini and 2 sonos era300 as surround system but I cannot seem to get 7.1ch in any streaming movie such as netflix, disney plus and amazon prime.dolby atmos content plays without any problem and it shows dolby atmos on the sonos app too.have been trying to look for any shows with 7.1ch via google search but nothing came out so I also cannot really make sure whenever if the actual issue is with the streaming video file or not.the sonos app also only shows 5.1ch even when playing PS5 console with Amplifier 7.1 surround settings (audio priority is Dolby) and I also check the in game audio setting is set to 7.1 speaker setting.the TV that I use is LG CX and the HDMI eArc is also set to Passthrough.Could it be that I need to use sub gen 3 to bring the 7.1ch? or is it actually the problem with the TV limitation?Restarting the whole speaker by unplugging and plugging back the power also did not do anything. (Also waited for a few minutes before plugging back

I have Beam and 1x One and I can connect to TV each other.However, when activate the TV, only Beam can synchronize the audio.I need to enable One's checkmark from the playback source screen to connect One to TV. Is there a way to automatically link Beam and One to the TV each time?Do I need to buy an extra ONE and set up surrounds to do this?

Hi there, I couldn’t find a fitted answer, but why is the sonos arc copying my 5ghz channel with the same as my router and why isnt it selectable for the user to reduce traffic interference?I changed my router a few times but the arc moves with the same channel all the time.I know a lot of people who have there router neer the tv and soundbar so know you cross the signals within 2 meters, with that great bandwidth there is a wide choice to pick a other channel. thanks in advance. greets. thomas

Speakers and sub go in and out 

Hi. About to move to an apartment with the following layout. the only place the TV can go is circled red and where the couch can go is in blue. I'm concerned about losing one of the surrounds from the era 300s due to one side having no wall at all and extending to the other side of the apartment. Any tips on how to mitigate this when I move? My thought was to place a bookshelf in that area, next to that era 300, so as to create something that sound can bounce off of. 

Can we please get separate Height controls for the Sonos Arc and the Era 300s? On my setup I would like to keep the Arc height volume at 10 and era 300s at around 5, for me to have the Arc with a noticiable height effect the 300s are overwhelmingly high….they are superior to the Arc in height effects imo so they should have separate controls 

HiJust installed Arc to Sony Bravia 2018. (Arc, no earc) Connected, downloaded app, added Sonos, fine tuned room etc. Result-hardly better than Sony speakers. That can’t be right, can it?(Hdmi passthrough enabled on Sony, DD+ selected etc)Any advice would be much appreciated.ThanksSteve
