Controlling volume on my Arc from my Amazon remote is often spotty, sometimes no reception. I usually have to turn the remote upside down to get reception. I have changed the batteries and re-paired often. Re-pairing seems to help but only a short time (only a few hours) before reception degrades again. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Any fixes?

How does the Firestick remote change the volume? With ir or HDMI-CEC?
We had an iffy Amazon remote a while back, fiddling with it usually got it working again but was a pain.
A replacement remote is only a couple bucks cheaper than a new firestick with a remote on Amazon.
