My ARC stopped working with my Sony Bravia 940D75 but works trough optical connection. Spent hours with Sonos tech and had Best Buy tech out and they said it may be mother Board in 3 yr old Bravia. Has anyone had a motherboard issue happen 

Hi all,Is there any body have similar question which I mentioned on the topic?I got one Arc Ultra in the US and 2 ERA300 bought in Japan.Before the APP updated in the recent day, the connection between ultra and ERAs are OK (still not stable and don’t know why) but I cannot figure out the issue after the update after APP version 80.16.32-.So the problem resulted from the update of APP or anything else ?Hope can know the hint then figure out this issue soon.  

I have a projector with an ARC HDMI output at the back of my theater room. I have an ARC ultra in the front of the room by the screen. I’d like to route the HDMI along the ceiling totaling maybe 35-40 feet. Is there any HDMI cable  that can handle this distance? What kind of cable? I have a 50’ HDMI from walmart that skips audio about every 30 seconds for a split second each time, When I moved the ARC ultra so I could plug in with the HDMI provided with the ARC ultra, the skipping was fixed, so I do think it’s the HDMI issue as opposed to wifi or some other problem.   

There have been requests to implement TruePlay multi-profile so far, but the reason it hasn't been realized is because the flash memory in the soundbar can only store one Trueplay profile.So here's one idea to work around this limitation: store the TruePlay profile in the cloud, either in the smartphone app or in your Sonos account, rather than in the soundbar. Then, when the user wants, we can transfer the profile we wants from the cloud to the flash memory in the soundbar, overwriting the profile stored in the soundbar.

I have a Play Bar, play 1 surround sound and gen 2 sub connected on wifi, using Apple TV and Sony TV on Dolby 5.1. Since the app incident, my sub has simply stopped any output. I can see it’s connected to the Play Bar in the system but there’s no bass, vibration, sound. I’ve spent time chatting with Sonos and sent all my diagnostics, but to no avail. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hi, my system comprises a Panasonic 55” 4k tv, Sky Q 2TB, Sonos sound system (Beam , Sub and 2 Play 1 as rear speakers), I also have a QNAP NAS that is linked to my Nvidia Shield Pro and have a major issue changing between Hdmi 1 (SkyQ) and Hdmi 3 (Nvidia Shield) as all my sound disappears and the only way I can get the sound back is to switch everything off at the wall and then turn it back on again, there must be an easier way to do this but have tried so many ‘solutions’ that I am doing my head in.Cheers 

What is the best level of sound for the rear era 100’s for surround sound?

When I watch TV, football, the announcers volume is fine but when the referee speaks, I can hardly hear them; Same with crowd noise, barely audible. Is this an Ultra malfunction or a setting?

For the past month or so my Sonos Arc has been dropping out periodically while watching television.  I believe it is rebooting itself based on the white pulsing status light.  I have tried quite a few troubleshooting steps but have not been able to solve the problem.  It is occurring approximately every 45 - 60 minutes.  Using Sonos ARC, Sonos Sub Gen3, Vizio P75 television and AppleTV 4k.  So far I have tried the following.Factory reset of soundbar Two different new HDMI calbes Plugging soundbar into different power outlet Changing CEC setting on Vizio television to ARC Only Rebooted Apple TVAny other recommendations?

I recently purchased a Sony K50S30 and a Sonos Gen2 beam.  Both were installed by a 3rd party from Best Buy.   The issue is that every time I turn the tv back on the sound is coming from the tv speakers.   I can disconnect the eARC/ARC and make the beam work that way or I can press the power button on the tv remote and do a restart or I can unplug tv and beam,  disconnect everything connected to tv, plug tv and beam back in then go to the Sonos App and select TV setup and follow those instructions and then it works.   All this just seems wrong for equipment I have only had for 2 weeks.   Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

After a very frustrating phone call with Sonos customer support, I was finally told that my new Ray is not compatible with a TCL Roku IR remote.  Was told that Sonos  engineers are working in a fix.  Normally I would return this but I am 2 days out of the 30 day return window.  Does anyone know of a work around for this problem with the Ray? TIA

Hi all, quick question. I previously had a Sonos beam and 2 ones’s for about 5 years. I have recently upgraded to an arc ultra and 2x era 300’s as surrounds.  my question is does/ has anyone had a similar experience to what I’m about to describe.  Firstly I stream music through airplay, Xbox series x and sometimes my Samsung 2024 qled tv.  I expected when I upgraded for the sound difference to be night and day, my dad has one era 300 and when I listened to it before purchasing my set up I was blown away with the way the speaker filled a room much bigger than mine with ease, I listened to the arc ultra at an electronic store and again it sounded fantastic.  I then purchased and installed my set up and heavy heartedly must say that it sounds marginally better than my previous beam and Sonos ones.  I have watched every video under the sun, tried everything I can and even spoken to Sonos support who said there was a few things they needed to fix on their end (I can’t remember exactly what)

I am remodeling my basement it is 25” x 23”. I have LG 83”” TV. Sonos Arc2 Sonos wall speakers they will be mounted on both sides of TVSonos Amp2 Era 300sGen 2 and 3 SubsI would like to add 2 8”” ceiling speakers to create Atmos sound. Is this possible?

Hi just to ask if any one has experienced issues On any set up with sub 3 gen + sun 3 gen ? I did have a main set up l8ke this and the second sun it lower volume  them the first ones , but I discovered thr second and setup in another room and work fine, I even try other subscribers but same issue, second one it's lower them the 1st one any body with this issue?

How do I disable the tv speakers on my Bravia TV so that the default is my Sonos Beam and two speakers become the default. I can switch off the tv speakers but I have to do this each time I turn on the tv and I am looking for a solution to resolve this permanently without getting the echoey sound produced from tv speakers and Sonos speakers each time I turn on the tv. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I just picked up the Sonos Ray on clearance on Best Buy and am aiming to use with the latest Apple TV (4K 128GB 3rd gen) and Samsung TV (65" Q70C QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen). Sadly, I cannot set the Sonos Ray as the default Audio Output on Apple TV. Each time I power Apple TV on or even evening opening a new app (YouTube TV, Hulu, Netflix, etc), I need to manually select the Sonos Ray as the audio output. once it is manually selected, I am able to change volume and mute without issue using the Apple TV remote, so I do not believe this is a remote issue. Additionally, the Sonos Ray does show up in my Home app and I’m able to play music/audio from my iPhone without issue.Any advice/suggestion on how to avoid the need to manually set Sonos Ray as the audio output EVERY time on Apple TV?

Hi,Does anyone know a way to keep speakers grouped other than when one product is playing from a TV (HDMI eARC). It would be great to keep a few products in a room grouped for listening to music other than when they are set to automatically ungroup when the AMP is playing from the TV.Thanks,David

I want to buy a sub for my arc ( not ultra ) soundbar. I have 2 first generation ikea symphonisk lampspeaker connected to the arc. Can I use every sub ( mini-gen 3-gen 4) with the arc. (And with the symphonisk also still working)

I have a pair of Sonos Five and a Sonos Amp conected to a Tv via HDMI Arc. The problem is when I play the TV sound via Amp the sound get skipped using the Sonos Five. It is very annoying and o could not fix yet. What can I do? They are at the same Wi-Fi net, I changed the HDMI cable but nothing happened! Thanks for the help 

The sound keeps dropping out on my beam gen 2, it happens randomly 

Currently have play bar with sub and amp to in ceiling surrounds. TV is 10 year Samsung. Planning on upgrading to Sonos arc ultra and a newer tv. Question is what tv is more compatible sony kxr7590 or lg g4? Want best 77” in a fairly well lite room with sliding glass doors about 10 feet away on perpendicular wall. I know a lot of info but this is important to for viewing Sunday afternoon football. Of course we watch crime dramas and movies at night. And when she’s not home I love to crank up the volume for a good disaster flick!

My Beam suddenly stopped working after 16 months and now only blinks white. I tried hard resetting and connecting directly to the internet. I called customer support and tried all of the suggested trouble shooting sets they provided. They sent me to Sonos Customer Experience which sent me an email offering to give me 30% off discount for sending back the equipment. Has anybody else had this issue and were you able to either fix the problem or get Sonos to replace the broken unit? I feel like the product should last more than 16 months and also feel like the solution from Sonos should be better than me sending back the unit so that they can refurbish and sell again and only giving a 30% off discount for a defective device. 

I have a Arc Ultra soundbar, a Sub 4, and an Amp driving two wired in-ceiling speakers in addition to a Samsung TV with HDMI ARC. The soundbar, subwoofer and amp can be connected via WIFI. Ideally I would like that the soundbar, the subwoofer and the in-ceiling speakers all be active whenever I turn the system on to watch TV or listen to music. Is there an ideal connection or order of component installation to make this process seamless and intuitive? I'd like to make this as simple as possible in the event that family members want to use the system and not have to learn any complicated sequencing in order to make it work. Thanks in advance.

FEATURE REQUEST: Add option to enable "Center speakers" for the ERA's 300, if they are added as surrounds.i saw some threads...but no news about that.Any information?Regards

can i adjust ARC sound volume separately from tv sound volume?    i have a 2023 LG Oled.  From time to time I want to listen to just the ARC, with no actual tv volume. I have the ARC connected via  HDMI cable from the bar to an ARC (Audio Return Channel)-equipped HDMI socket on the LG TV,
