I have a “problem “ with my Sonos arc ultra : every time when i turn off my tv I still hear on the soundbar the sound of another tv channel for  30 seconds, every time its the sound of same tv channel , I don’t understand what is the problem, where I’m wrong, can someone tell me what to do? Regardless of which TV channel I watched, after turning off the TV, the sound of the same channel can still be heard 30 seconds from my Sonos arc ultra sound bar , after 30 seconds sound it’s gone and silence. 

Hi all. I have just got my new 4k player, having looked at the back of it, it has holes for putting the audio straight into the back of it, is it better to connect my sonos setup directly to this or not? It is currently setup via the tv so would it make any difference changing it to the 4k player? Thanks for any advice all much appreciated 😊👍

I’m new to the Sonos family and was so excited to set up my Sonos Arc Ultra after hearing it in store. I have wall mounted my product, connected it to my network via an ethernet connection and it’s connected to a new LG OLED C5 TV using the HDMI eARC option.Sound from the TV is amazing. I rarely move above level 35 because it’s loud. If I play music via my TV using the Spotify app or Apple Music app the sound is also amazing. Level 50 is loud and level 70 would generate a noise complaint from my neighbours.If however I use the Sonos app or connect directly from my phone via bluetooth the sound is muffled and faint. At 70 the speaker from my iPhone would be louder and at 100 the sound you iis so soft you can talk comfortably. Sound is so underwhelming it seems like something is wrong. I want to be able to play music directly from my phone. Why would music from my phone be so quiet? I have had two friends connect via both wifi, the app and bluetooth and they exper

No audio from tv amp to arcI have a sonos amp to tv with in ceiling speakers. All worked fine for a couple of weeks, now no audio from tv but all fine streaming music just no tv audio. I see the sonos amp hdmi connection I even see the equalizer bars moving in the icon on the tv screen however there is no audio .i looked expensively online rebooted both Samsung tv and sonos amp without success. Any ideas?

Hello 👋🏼… I have a problem here that I can’t solve .. as I connect my era 100 as surround to my arc ultra … as the app tell me to choose witch one makes the sound to select it as right or left surround … after completing and successfully saves the surrounds .. the don’t play … instead they are at the system as arc ultra not registered x 2 I deleted the app and reinstall it .. I did factory reset the eras over 5 times.. I reset the network .. I did everything .. and nothing works .. when I reset to factory and put them again to my system they work as standalone or as a pair just fine … but not as surround set for the arc ultra ..: need help here plz !!!

Hi,i have an old home theather setup, including amplifier, speakers, lp player and pre amp. I want to replace the system with something more simple, getting rid of the multiple cables. What would be your suggestion for replacing this system with sonos? Ideally, I would be happy with just the Arc - but it doesnt support LP player. It also feels stupid to buy and era 100 just to connect my LP player or spend nearly 400€ for the port (highly more than my old LP player). What would be your suggestion for replacing my old set up?

Changed internet to Virgin and wow what a nightmare again, this time much worse tbh, having to reset all speakers, can’t connect bean to Sonos 1 surround or the sub, I was okay with using the s1 app before but seems my beam connected to the new Sonos app but S1 not so can’t link surround help prior to all in the bin 

I have the following setup.Apple TV Connected to TV using a HDMI Port. | Sonos ARC Ultra connected to TV using the HDMI eARC port.Everything works fine via CEC, I am able to control the volume and TV Power ON/Off using the Apple TV remote. Most of the time during the day usage, when I switch on/off the TV it goes to the standby mode and wakes up quickly.However, in the morning after 8-10 hrs of sleep time, when I power on the Apple TV , the TV restarts [shut down and starts] . I have tried switching the HDMI cable & performed HDMI refresh also, didn't resolve the issue. This doesn't happen when I connect the Sonos ARC Ultra to the Apple TV using the AirPlay, so I assume this is to do with the HDMI connection. Looking for a solution here. 

Does anybody have a list of what specific 2.4 GHz network settings are required to have my Sonos sub hook up to my Sonos arc? The sub is GEN three. Arc is an older model. The sub used to work just fine. I did not do any auto update updates nor did I Change any wireless settings. Somehow it just suddenly stopped working. When I connect the sub to the 2.4 GHz network it shows as an item in my list then it lets me add it to my arc. It immediately stops working and then I get an error message Soonest wants me to wire the connection, which would be a complete pain in my balls. Anybody have any ideas I can try. Thank you in advance for your time. 

Hello Everyone,I just ordered a pair of Sonos Era 300’s to run as rear speakers for my surround sound.Please excuse the condition of the house, we just had a flood and I’ve been tearing everything out.Right now we have a Sonos arc, Sub Gen 3 for the front and I have recently acquired a Sub Gen 2 for behind the couch. Up to this point I have been using two Sonos Play 1’s as rears which will move to a different room.The couch will be placed in the blue rectangle, and is 43” tall. We are building a half wall between the rooms outlined in red which will be 40” tall.The rear sub will be placed behind the couch as outlined in green.As for the era 300’s the placement is a little bit more tough, as you can see on the left side is a light switch and the mantle to our fireplace, so realistically I’d have to place it a

Never mind, fixed it.  My Beam Gen 2 is cutting out on Atmos content on Apple+ and Disney+. TV audio is set to pass through. HDMI cable is good. 5.1 content plays with no issues.

I’ve recently purchased the Sonos Arc Ultra. I bought the latest David Gilmour and Peter Gabriel albums for their Atmos mixes. However, the vocals on both albums sound like they were recorded in echoey caves. Horrible. They sound fine on normal stereo mixes. To say I’m disappointed is a major understatement. Is there any particular setting on the soundbar that could improve matters. 

HiI have a Samsung S90D TV and Sonos Beam 5.1 Setup and I get 5.1 from my Apple TV and Firestick fine.I also get 5.1 from my Blu Ray player for any non DTS audio discs but for any Blu Rays with DTS, I just get Stereo PCM as Samsung does not support DTS.My question is. Will a HDFury Arcana solve this for me?Ideally I want to avoid a HDMI switcher but I assume if I will need to get one for the ATV/Firestick too if I am going to use HDFury for the Blu Ray PlayerThanks

Can't set surround distance after I do quick trueplay. My right surround is more than 10 feet away and my left surround is 5 feet away. Both are set to more than 10 feet after I do quick trueplay. I can't even adjust the surround level because of the different distance between the two. Plz give users of quick trueplay the option to adjust the surround distance.

I’ve got 2 Era 300s that I’m trying to use as rear speakers in a surround setup. They’re mounted on the wall right above my sofa (about 90 cm directly above my head/listening position), as I had some custom brackets made so the speakers can point straight down toward the listening position.The issue is that the system won’t let me set them up like this – it throws an error as soon as the speakers are placed facing down toward the floor. Has anyone run into this before or found a workaround? Hope some of you guys can help 😊  

I have a multi-zone Creston system with 2 Denon Amps that I’m looking to convert to Sonos.  I’m assuming i can connect to all my wired speakers and TV’s but what Sonos device(s) do i need to tie them all together (Port or other)?  How many do I need if I’m trying to establish 5 different zones?  Thank you for your insights.  Adam

I not be able to add sub mini with Zone to create home theater2 EAR300 in front 2 EAR100 at the backWith 1 sub mini  When I connect sub mini with one of the speaker then I not beable to see that speaker when I create zone.  

I understand sonos does not support DTS:X or DTS-HD Master.  What I am trying to wrap my head around is: if the DTS:X or DTS-HD Master signal is “passed through” my tv or device, does sonos 1. play it as full dtsx/dts-hd, or 2 convert it to pcm and discard height info, or 3. not play it at all…??? Also, if I route it through an apple tv and it converts it to pcm,  does sonos then play that (without the height data?Sorry for being a noob...

Dear Sonos Team,When stereo PCM is sent over HDMI, the Arc forces playback through the front channels only. Sonos frames this as “purism,” but it actually blocks creative intent and creates inconsistency: Artists’ intent is restricted. If a stereo track is designed to fill the room, Sonos prevents rears from engaging. Other brands allow “All Channel Stereo.” Inconsistent behaviour. The Arc mirrors stereo to surrounds in music mode (AirPlay, Spotify Connect), but forbids it over HDMI. There is no technical or licensing reason — simple channel duplication costs nothing. Purism becomes interference. By enforcing silence in rears, Sonos isn’t respecting the mix, it’s imposing a design choice that neither creators nor customers asked for. Hi, this is Bart from PolandI have the set of speakers mentioned in the titleI would like to have two set ups - one for movies and one for musicNow I have set the pair of SYMFONISK speakers with SUB  as stereo and ARC as another set up for moviesI realized that actually I can play music or movies on both sets at the same time (with not a bad result)I know that the recommended set up in this case would be ARC + SUB + SYMF (as surround in the back)However my concern is that if I will use this set up, the “stereo experience” will be poor with ARC as the main front speaker and SYMF moved to the back. Or if not poor then at least worse than in case the two SYMF are the main stereo speakers in the frontDid anybody compared both set ups and have some experience or thoughts on this?
