Hi,I have a setup Projector Optoma ZK400 + Era 300 + PS5.There’s no TV or PC in the setup.PS5 cannot be connected to Era300.How can i play the sound of the PS5 in Era300?

Can the ERA100’s be set up to MIRROR/extend the audio coming from the Ray sound bar?  We purchased the system (on advice from BestBuy) in order to have a sound source closer to the listening position.  (I’m attempting to keep the TV from having to be turned up so loud in order to be heard.)In surround mode, there is minimal sound (if any) for most TV shows.  As a stereo pair, I can’t seem to join them to Ray.

I have ARC/2Era300/Sub 2 Gen in my home theater and a 2018 Samsung TV only with arc not eARC. I’m debating whether to insert an Arcana unit or other converter to get full Dolby Atmos sound. I enjoy the great Sonos speakers and a full surround experience, but is it worth it to add an eARC converter and all that that entails? Will an average listener like me really notice a difference between compressed and lossless audio? I know it’s subjective but what is your experience, opinion or insight?

Hi Community,I'm currently planning my living room and would like to integrate my Sonos surround system. I own 1x Sonos Arc, 1x Sub (3rd Gen), and 2x Sonos Era 300.Due to limited space for my entertainment area, I'm wondering if I can place my Sonos Era 300s as shown in the following photos.My intention was to build a recess in the wall behind the couch so that the Era 300s can face outwards against the wall of the recess and reflect back to the couch. The recess should be about 50-60cm high.Thanks for advance for your inputs. 

hi everyone, I'm Italian I'm using a translator and I hope to be clear, my kit consists ofarc2xera 3002xsubI'm quite satisfied with the sound in general and above all with the very intuitive app but there are some things I don't like the dialogues they are very poor compared to Bose even with the (dialogue enhancement activated) why doesn't Sonos make an effort to create 3 steps (low, medium, high) of dialogue balance on the app? era 300 sounds very good with atmos but why can't I listen to music in stereo while also activating the central speaker? I paid the cash not to collect dust, I hope I managed to explain myself well, thanks

Hi all, After many years of different soundbars, bookshelf speaker/sub combos, I finally bit the bullet and bought into the Sonos ecosystem with the Arc and soon to be Sub Mini (small townhouse living room, plenty of bass for the size).The Arc sporadically emits this odd electronic chirping sound which I cannot trace back to anything in particular. I see some threads with other Sonos devices exhibiting the same.Is this a common thing with Sonos speakers, in general, or sign of an issue? I have mine connect via eARC to my Vizio P65-F1.Loving the products, so far! 

My LG magic remote works fine with the arc soundbar but not the roam units. For example if I hit the mute button only the arc soundbar is muted and the roam units keep producing sound.  

Hello I have a Beam gen 2 and a sub mini.  I would like to use my old surround speakers from Dynavoice with them in a surround system with my tv.  Is that possible? Can I connect them to my Sonos system or do I need to buy new speakers. 

I can see similar stories of this issue popping up here and on other forums but can’t see any resolution.  example:I’ve had the beam 2 a few weeks and started to notice a few days ago. First thing I noticed it on was watching Reacher on Prime Video.Two scenes across the series generated similar to what is described in this thread - squeaky metallic noise over voices which was really high pitched and coincided with talking. A few scenes later it was gone but it was really noticeable at the time and replying the scene it comes back. LG G2 TV - eARC HDMI - Oututting Dolby Atmos.Beam Gen 2. No surrounds. is this is a known issue or a hardware defect? Seems like some people have tried multiple units with the same issue?

Hi all,I recently upgraded my Beam Gen 2 to an Arc and ever since I’m only getting Stereo PCM outputted when I play a 4K Blu Ray that outputs DTS HD. This was working fine on my Beam 2 and it would convert this to PCM Multichannel 7.1.My set up:TV - LG C1 - Passthrough and eArc enabled Sound - Arc, Sub Gen 3, Era 100’s x24K Player - Panasonic DP-UB450EB-K Dolby Atmos works fine but since changing to an Arc it’s only converting DTS HD to stereo PCM.I’ve looked through all the posts on here and it seems a lot of people have had this problem before. I’ve amended my settings on the Blu Ray player but this hasn’t worked.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank you 

Hello everyone! New owner of an Arc + 2 era 300s + Sub mini. When I play Atmos files on VLC off an hdd connected to the tv, the Sonos app shows Dolby Digital Plus 2.0. When I play Atmos videos on Netflix it shows Dolby Atmos. Xbox Series X shows Dolby Atmos too.Tv is a Sony X950G https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/x950g and files are DTS HD MA TrueHD 7.1 Atmos. I have Passthrough set to Auto (other option is off). I have connected the arc to the E-arc port.

Hi all,Set up: Sonos Arc, Sub (Gen 3), One + One SL paired rears (awaiting back order of 2 Era 300’s to replace as rear)TV - 2018 Samsung QE65Q9FN (ARC only). Supports Atmos through Dolby Digital Plus.I recently upgraded to the above Sonos setup from Gen1 Beam and I have been trying to get Dolby Atmos on streaming services for a few days. Finally managed to get Atmos showing in the Sonos app using a Firestick 4K Max to stream Netflix and Apple TV. It’s not showing for Disney+ or Prime TV but my understanding is this is because I don’t pay for the higher subscriptions on those; they are playing Dolby Digital Plus 5.1. I have enabled Dolby Atmos on my PS5 and tried some games that support Atmos, such as GTA V and Hogwarts Legacy but I can only get Dolby Digital 5.1 rather than Atmos or even DD+. When I try to select it on my TV audio settings they are blanked out. Does anyone know why I can’t get lossy Atmos on the PS5 with this set up. I understand without eARC I can’t get full Atmos bu

When turning on tv there is no sound coming of out the beam. I have to connect the HDMI cable from BEAM to a non-arc port on TV and wait 10 sec. Then connect back to ARC connection to get BEAM sound to work.and get the tv to rekocnice the input.Does anyone have a solution for this. Is seems it could be the that the beam is not recognized by the arc port in TV.

I have had a Sonos Arc and LG G3 tv for several months with no issues. This week the Arc stopped playing tv content. It seems this happened right after a tv update but I can’t say for certain. But when I try to see the tv up through Sonos app it says HDMI Arc not detected. This is extremely frustrating. I have tried factory resetting both tv and soundbar to no avail

Hi. I have a not uncommon problem in that my 2nd Generation Beam and Samsung TV frequently don't want to talk to each other. The problem seems to be related to the EArc capabilities of the TV, as if I disable that, they play together nicely. As a workaround I've borrowed a 1 In / 2 Out HDMI splitter from work. My intention being to feed my media system (Vero 4k+) into the switch, with one output feeding the TV for the vision and the other the Beam. However, on trying this I get no sound at all from the beam. The app shows nothing on the beam's input (I've made sure it's an allowed format being used, deliberately dropping to 2 ch stereo for the test). Swapping the splitters 2 outputs around makes no difference. I assumed the splitter was somehow blocking the audio, but, with the splitter still in circuit feeding the tv but reconnecting the beam so it's fed as normal from the EArc/Arc output I get the media systems audio as normal from the beam. Ok, so I know I probably missed a thread on here somewhere, but I’ll tell my issue anyways.  Brand new Sonos Arc, have a 75” Samsung 4K TV (QN75Q70AAFXZA), and the newest Apple 4K TV. I’m using the HDFury Arcana with brand new 8k HDMI cables. Apple TV to input on Arcana, HDMI eARC out to Arc soundbar, and other HDMI output to eARC HDMI input on TV. Everything works fine, I get Dolby 5.1, I’m ok with the black screen when content is switching, but not getting Dolby Atmos when watching 6 Underground on Netflix, I have the UltraHD subscription. What am I missing? I have majority of Arcana settings on Auto as well, confused as to what to set to other settings. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I bought today an ARC SL (connected to my Sony Bravia TV) and one ERA 300.Both are connected to my personal wifi.I would like to get the TV sound on the (alone) ERA 300 (located in the kitchen) but did not find how to proceed.Any help welcome.Cheers 

Any advice on this? I'm trying a+d then using code 33919 but my remote is not connecting to Ray. I can use my Sonos app to control volume but I need this to work with my remote so anyone can use the remote to control volume. Any help here? 

Hello. Please help. What I want to accomplish is twofold: 1. Group all 4 speakers (2 next to TV and 2 in the back for surround), hopefully giving stereo/surround effect, and allow master volume to be consistently managed by TV remote. As of right now, my TV remote only controls the volume for my Sonos Arc and the two Era 100’s surround in the back of the room. I have to turn the volume of the Era 100’s (that are next to the TV) up and down in the app2. Stream music, using Airplay at moment as I get used to setting up system, without compromising TV volume control when I switch back to TV. 

Should I set my audio on the tcl 635 tv to passthrough or auto?  Auto gives me multichannel pcm and passthrough gives me Dolby digital 5.1. I get atmos when atmos is offered from Disney plus.  kinda underwhelmed by the arc. My beam 1 seems much punchier trying to nail down these settings for the arc.  Got a mini sub to go along but haven’t installed yet. Room is smaller 14X20 

My 2 ERA 100’s will not connect to my Beam

I am in the middle of converting my garage to a mini man cave and I have just bought the Arc sound bar and 2x Era 100’s for surround effect. While they are a few days away from delivery I wanted to understand how they connect so I can have my electrician build the room properly before the new studwalls are erected…From what I understand the Eras need a USB or Optic cable (can someone please explain what the difference in between the two) connection - but does this go back to the Arc or is it hard wired to a power source? I have looked online for video / reddit or anything but I just don’t see enough detail to guide my sparky.ThanksBryan

I Have a Arc SL attached to a 65” Samsung TV via HDMI ARC.Our Sound bar shows this issue usually a couple of weeks after plugging the SB out for 20s and plugging back in. This has always resolved the issue for a couple of weeks and then the issue comes back.  I have been on to Sonos support on 4 separate occasions and also provided the diagnostic events - No Joy. Very frustrated considering this is a very expensive SB.  Firm wear - Fully UpdatedHDMI Cable replaced : Issue reoccursSupport suggested changing the WiFI channel, no impact, issue reoccurs

Why is the sound on sky q through beam gen 2 and 2 play 1, so poorhave to turn up and down all the time when changing channels
