I noticed they sell the Arc and wireless Ace headphones as a bundle. I read that other brand bluetooth headphones don’t work with the Arc. I’m assuming that they got it to work with the Ace headphone. Do you think the Ace is the only headphone that is compatible with the Arc or have they resolved the issue for all bluetooth headphones? I don’t own any Sonos but figuring out what I need to buy. Thanks.

The Arc is not Bluetooth capable, it connects to the Ace via a proprietary WiFi connection.. If you wish to use generic Bluetooth headphones, turn off the Arc by disabling CEC, then connect the headphone to the TV via Bluetooth.

How hard is it to turn off CEC? This is for my dad who is 80yrs old. Does the Ace just connect and work once you turn on the headphones?
