Sonos beam Gen2 sound buffers, or audio skips, can’t watch a game using the speaker

I had to buy a new Wi-Fi setup.  After re setting up the speakers, the sub doesn't read my network like the other speakers.  It simply says network unavailable.  Is that normal?  If not how do I correct it? 

My Connect:Amp disappeared from my Sonos app and I can’t play anything on it anymore. The LED is just slowly blinking white. Before this issue, it has worked flawlessly for 8 years in the same spot. What a mess this new update ! My Sub Gen 3 cannot be assigned or registered. It connected to some point to ARC then when transferred to FIVE went back to “not registered”. Tried every solution mentioned in the forums ie deleting the app, restarting the router, hard resetting the Sub, deleting the system etc but nothing works. Any ideas ? 

Hi. I just added a Sonos Port to my system and am triyng to add it as a component to an existing room that contains an Arc, two Sonos Ones and a subwoofer, but the app creates duplicate rooms with the same name. Any suggestions?

I have seen many Arc vs Beam threads but not one that answers my particular question.i already have a pair of ones and only want to spend around the £800 mark.So it comes down to is the arc with ones better than the beam with ones and sub mini. I can find loads on the arc v beam and sub mini but nothing that includes the surrounds.There is also the caveat that my 65” tv has a wall at one side as I am in a back to back terrace which won’t allow the recommended distance for the arc but will for the beam.Having never had a soundbar will this mismatch side wall distance render them both a bit useless. The arc would be 22cm one side and about 2m the other. Originally I wanted the amp but due to new furniture and layout the bookshelf’s no longer have a place!It is very difficult to demo my room layout and I have only ever had ones so any advice appreciated. After the last update today.  My arc was dropping out with a popping sound.  So after the hard reset of the arc.  I cannot add both of my subs. Even after the hard reset. sonos should be open till 8 pm in the netherlands.  But at 7 it says its closed.  very disappointing in this update     

Hello all,We are currently getting a house extension and we are creating a media wall (ceiling not yet built).I’m wanting to get a good sound setup for the television and thought that Sonos’ ceiling speakers and amp would be a good addition to the system.Question is will this work with my current set up which is:A Sonos playbar which we bought 8 years ago.Gen-3 subwooferWent into a tv/speaker shop near where I live and they told me I would need an Arc soundbar, Sonos Amp and two speakers along with cabling from speakers back to Amp. I’m not sure if they are upselling me or whether the playbar won’t work as it’s too old. Would be grateful if anyone could advise, had a search through previous topics but couldn’t find the answer! ThanksAndy

Hello. I’m currently undergoing major works in home, and i’m figuring out cables layout.When I think about TV setup, I was thinking the following:Front: Arc soundbarRear: Sonos Sonance in the wall controlled By AMP (which should talk wifi with ARC if i’m not wrong).Sub: A sub mini should be enough. Questions..:#1: May I believe that this setup is correct? Can Sonances be used as rear channels and does AMP  receive rear channel from ARC?#2: In future may be better to also add two front speakers as ERA 100 or 200 or 300..? or front audio is enough with the bar?  Thank you in advance for your help, and sorry if questions are a bit dumb..:)  

A week ago I purchased an Arc and a subwoofer Gen 3. Two days ago I received my Era 300s to add as rears. The system is stuck and the speakers will not register to my account or my system. It shows them in the app as unregistered. I try to fix it, it plays the tone, goes through the motions, then it says it failed to connect and to try again later. I have reset the speakers, deleted and reinstalled the app, and jumped through every hoop and prompt given to me by the POOR Sonos customer service. Any help would be appreciated. I have half a mind to save my money (and sanity) and go with a Sony or Apple system.  Thanks.

J’ai eu beau éteindre ma box, mon téléphone, débrancher l’enceinte et la rallumer en rebranchant la prise et maintenant le bouton d’association. Ça me met à chaque fois que l’enseigne n’a pas pu être ajouté. avez vous une idée ?merci

After this update I am no longer able to use my arc SL with my tv, and it has unpaired my era 100 rear speakers along with sub. I have tried about everything under the sun to get my surround sound system back up and running but after 4 hours today I still have no luck. The best I’ve been able to do is get my 2 era 100s set up with my sub gen 3 as a stereo but can’t got the whole system to work with sound bars, rear speakers, and sub.  Working on getting arc SL set up still but won’t work with tv, won’t register to my account after factory reset, and won’t connect with other speakers in system. I have tried factory resetting it a handful of times along with wifi and my phone but it still won’t register to my account and now won’t play on the tv properly. If anyone knows how to get my arc sl “registered” after factory reset let me know, it shouldn’t be a problem but with new app it just won’t work for me. 

Moved and reconnection is notoccuring. Tried everything 

Hi Sonos Community, I purchased a Sonos Arc sound bar today. I’ve tried setting it up but have only got so far, it won’t link to my account. Even though the Arc and My phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi. I have tried turning the Wi-Fi on and off, unplugging the arc etc. I have even factory reset the arc and started setting it up as a new device. Any help would be much appreciated! 

This new upgrade has not been great.  All my speakers were connected ash’s playing and all of a sudden beam stopped.  I’ve unplugged it twice and app still doesn’t find it.  Suggestions?

Hello It is since the last update AAC format have a very low soundI have reset my arc system but not okI have test with plex and vlc. Aac 2.0- he-aac 5.1 very low sound thank you

I’ve updated to the latest app version, the system is up to date. Trueplay starts but stalls when it says generating sounds. iPad Pro 5th generation IOS 17.4.1. Tablet has to be rebooted to get out of the loop. App version 80.00.04.

HelloI have a sonos amp with an external sub (klipsh amplified).All was ok before the update, but with the new one i can not find were we can switch the sub on or off.Any idea ?

I upgraded from an LG C7 to a G4. I mainly use an Apple TV with sound on Auto, not change format with an Arc. I’ve noticed that all sound except Atmos is being delivered via PCM (PCM 5.1, PCM 7.1) rather than Dolby Digital. This is different from the C7 where everything that wasn’t Atmos was just DD 5.1. Is that because the old TV was downgrading the sound?

This forced app download has sent me into a mad furry!! The TV isn't a selection anymore so I have no control over tv sound. There's no where in this app to do anything about it. This app is horrible to try and use. Has anyone been able to get tv connection?

Anyone else noticing significant difference in Dolby atmos performance since the update 16.1/16.1.1? Before the updates I had amazing sound isolation and sound placement, now everything seems less located at a certain point. I watched gravity (Dolby) and im westen nichts neues on netflix. Before I was so satisfied with the sound but now I can’t follow the objects and sounds moving around me… so disappointing. Also did the Dolby demos on my Xbox. Before I could clearly hear the ball moving behind my head, now not anymore. I didn’t change the location of my speakers. Did true play again but doesn’t change. Before I used to switch off true play and even than it was just amazing. Sonos engineers really give me a headache. I’m really regretting not going for the Samsung soundbar ughhhhhhh

I have two phones connected to my Sonos system. The phone that I updated cannot connect to any of my Sonos devices, the phone I did not update works perfectly. How do I get the phone I updated to connect with my Sonos devices?

Need a rollback. I can’t play Audio from TV over my Sonos ARC and 2 Sonos Ones in my kitchen. The old app used to allow me to direct Audio from my TV thru my Sonos system in my kitchen. It seems I no longer have that option. Instead, my bedroom Beam system automatically shows up and I don’t know how to direct it to my kitchen system. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. Now I find myself sorry that I upgraded the app - my fault.
