LG remote no longer controlling volume

Anyone having this issue with the update? My LG remote for my c2 will no longer control volume no matter what fix I try. I have attempted everything I can find on google. The volume up/down symbol shows on the television but volume stays the same. The only remote that works to control volume is now my google tv remote. 
 

Fairly annoying when it has worked perfectly the past year and a half. I have an arc, two SL and the sub.

G'day I'm also have a problem, now the TV volume doesn't go up and down with the TV remote any longer. Overall the years I think this is the first time I remember the TV remote not working on the sonos system
