Streaming to Home Audio System Without Access to Physoc Port

I have a home sound system but the RCA jack for it is across the room and a physical connection to the TV isn't practical.  I also have an Arc soundbar.

Can I run HDMI from the TV to the soundbar, then attach a Sonos Port to the RCA jack across the room and have it utilize my home sound system?  If not, what would you recommend to get the TV to the sound system without a physical connection?

Thanks!

Your plan will get TV audio to your 3rd part audio system, but note that the audio will be delayed slightly creating a lip sync issue and an echo effect with your audio system and the Arc.  This is usually not an issue if your 3rd party system is in a different room, but will be an issue with it in the same room as the Arc.

There isn’t any Sonos solution to get TV audio wirelessly playing on a non-Sonos audio system. There may some wireless HDMI solutions that work for you, but I’m not an expert on these.

Thank you.  I may have to try a Bluetooth or Wifi connection.
