HelloFor those of you who purchased the Sonos Ace Headphones I hope you’re enjoying them as much as I am 😊! To be totally honest I do have one nic-pic…and that is Color options. I was hoping Sonos would offer the Ace in different colors similar to those of the Roam/Roam 2. Although “Sunset” (the color on far right) may be a bit overboard for the Ace. Or at least offer the latest color available for the Move 2…Well, that didn’t happen upon this initial release of the Ace. We got the (IMO) the generic “cookie cutter” Black and Soft White. 😓However, if Sonos follows trend as it has with its other portable products (i.e. Roam and Move) we may see additional colors later with this initial Ace release; or in an Ace 2 release (if that comes to be).To be clear I have no knowledge of an Ace 2 being in the Sonos pipeline; so don’t’ go starting rumors of such in the community. 😈 😕Moving on… I do have a couple of suggestions/ideas that may be to your liking. Drum roll….how about going Panda wi
I have a hearing problem that I wear Hearing Aids for.Does anyone know if/how I can configure my LG OLED Smart TV connected to a SONOS Beam, Subbase Woofer and a Pair of Play 1, configured for surround sound, so that the audio can be listened to on a Pair of SONOS Ace Headphones, and simultaneously by the rest of the family who are also listening on the SONOS Surround?Danny
Is it possible to have Ace operational and still have sound from the system. My wife has a hearing issue making watching TV difficult. Would be great if she could use Ace while normal sound comes from the system over speakers.
Hello, I very recently purchased Sonos Ace headphones. However, i’ve found that the volume is constantly too loud when listening to music. Music that I used to sleep to now averages 65-70 db at the lowest I can get it, and using the headphones is unbearable at times. It is relevant that I use an Iphone and apple music.I have tried:• Turning my phone volume down to the lowest possible amount without it cutting out.• Using the Sonos app’s inbuilt equalizer• Trying to use Apple Music’s inbuilt equalizer. Which only has customization on mac.• Using Other equalizer apps. Which don't work due to Apple music’s DRM protections.I know that the volume isn’t high enough to be damaging. But I would really appreciate any ideas on how to further decrease the volume. I find myself wanting to return the headphones only a few days after getting them even though I like everything else about them. Thank you for reading!edit: I also want to add that the high volume is an issue for most media on my device.
When, if ever will Ace be an integrated speaker (I know it’s a headphone) in the way all others are in the home? Sort being able to use without so much toggle and controlling and play music or TV out of it by simply designating it?
My Sonos Ace is working via BT without issues. Connecting it to the latest android version of the Sonos app. It took more than 5 attempts to add the ace within the app, but at least I was able to change the settings. So audio swap with Arc is working within the android app, so far so good. But after shutting things down, I am not able to find a way to get the ace active in the app. It shows the ace as a device, but within the settings it's grayed out. Tried a lot of combinations (first app started, then ace on, etc). But I probably didn't find the golden sequence). Any tips or suggestions? Regards,,Leon
Overall, I like the Ace headphones, especially when it comes to low frequencies: I can actually get my head to vibrate which is fun. However, I notice that no matter what video, no matter the hardware source, if I turn on spatial audio, all dialog becomes harder to hear. It’s like everyone is talking in a large space. I’m not exactly sure how to describe it with words. Echoey isn’t the right word, nor is reverb. It just sounds...not right at all. Like it’s being mixed incorrectly into surround sound I guess. And it doesn’t matter the space that the actors are in. For example, I notice zero difference if the dialog takes place outside, in a tiny closet, on an airplane: the dialog just sounds off. It’s hard to describe a sound. I guess “auditorium” is as close as I can get but that’s not quite accurate. If I turn off spatial sound, the dialog becomes instantly clear and sounds exactly the way it should (and matches what it sounds like on my system sans headphones). My setup:LG C9 TV, conn
Please let me know if I can use them this way: I have a hearing issue, and want to be able to play my TV sound through the SONOS headphones, while still getting the normal audio through my Arc, Sub, and Surrounds. I don't want to swap it and have it stop coming out of the speakers normally, I just want to add the headphones to the group. Is that possible? That way I can watch & listen to it where I am comfortable, and the family can still listen normally.
I have set up tv audio swap with my Beam at home, and it works well. Next week I’ll go to my girlfriend’s house. At her place she has a Sonos system as well. When I am at home, I am connected to my system. At her place I connect to her system, the Sonos app takes care of it seamlessly. It just asks me once to connect to the system the first time I “switch homes”, and I am good to go. I use the same Sonos-account. It all works great. The only Sonos product I take between the two places is my Sonos Ace. So I’d like the know if I could set it up to work with her soundbar (also a Beam) for use at her home as well. And once installed in both homes, can I use the TV audio swap in both homes, without having to reinstall the Ace every time?
Hi everyone! I’ve just made the 6th Aug update on my Sonos Ace and I couldn’t connect with my Beam Gen 2 Soundbar through Sonos App (iOS) . Same message: “No compatible soundbar found…”Of course the Beam is connected to WiFi and WiFi enabled on it .Should we wait for another update or is a trick to solve it? Thanks in advance!
What is the Windows app for?It does not detect my Ace, Bluetooth ou USB, saying Not connected.
When will I be able to connect to my tv via the beam? Reason I bought these headphones
Hi, I have 2 TV rooms with 2 soundbars. Can I set up TV Swap with more than 1 soundbar? Will the headphones automagically swap the audio depending in which room I am in? Thanks

I have just received my sonos ace but I have the feeling that my noise reduction is not working or is very light compared to the world deactivate I would like to know if it is the same for you thank you in advance

Just updated Ace / App to latest version to try the Ace TV audio swap with Beam Gen 1 and Ray.Thanks for adding support for older soundbars Sonos, this works really well. I also love the head tracking feature.Only suggestion (as raised quite a lot elsewhere), would be to enable sound on both the soundbar at the same time as the headphones. Use case is that I am harder of hearing than my wife.@Corry P . Can you pass this feedback onto the powers that be if you haven’t already done so for others.Ross.
I would purchase the Ace headphones if …I am quite deaf and hoped that the Ace headphones would bring clarity to TV sound, however instead of transferring the radio from the sound bar to the headphones I need the option to still have sound coming from the soundbar so that my wife, who has good hearing, can enjoy programmes with me. Any chance of this feature option being included?
A friend just got the new Sonos Ace headphones and is really impressed with the sound quality compared to their old Sony’s. The one downside they've noticed is that when they connect the Ace to their iPhone with a USB-C cable, it seems to drain the phone's battery pretty quickly, probably because it's charging the headphones at the same time. They're wondering if there's a way to stop the headphones from charging while connected via USB-C, as they really like the lossless audio quality but don't want to have to buy an extra adapter just to use the headphone jack. Any ideas?
Hi,When will Sonos release the required software update to enable Tv-Audio swap with Beam Gen 2?Thomas
There's a Ace software update available, from 2.9.2.xxx to 2.9.3.xxxThe update process is incredibly slow, more than 10 minutes after a quick download. I assume since it uses Bluetooth to communicate with the Sonos app.It would be nice if sonos posted release notes, which I can't find, but in any case there's no hint of TrueCinema in the settings yet.
Would love for the Arc to be able to connect to two Ace headphones. This seams like it could easily be a software update.
Ace doesn’t audio swap with Arc that is connected to Apple TV 4K via airplay 2 (not HDMI). The Apple TV 4K is connected to a TV projector and not to a TV. When I attempt to Ace audio swap with my Arc the sound defaults to the TV projector audio. No sound gets swapped to the Ace. Is the audio swapping not working because the Arc is not connected to the Apple TV 4K with a HDMI?
Dear alli‘ve received the new sonos ace headphonos. It sounds great. But to use the full potential, its needed to connect them to the app. thats where the problem starts. The headphone just don‘t connect to the app. No error, but „check bluetooth“ btw. bluetooth works fine. ios and sonos app are on newest version. Phone rebootet, app reseted, ace reseted… any hints or ideas? How to connect ace to the app, to perform firmware upgrades and to use all the features? At the moment Ace is just a very expensive bluetooth headphone
