I have had a Beam for several years, I don't know how to tell which generation it is, and I just bought an Ace. I want to transfer the sound from the Beam to the Ace headphones, but I get a message that a compatible device cannot be found. The Beam works and is connected to WiFi

I had to reset my Ace a couple times to get it to properly hook up.
You haven’t turned off the Beam’s radio by any chance? (Called disable WiFi by the app)

I have not turned off the beam’s radio yet, I will do that test.
I’m not at home these days. I'll try it this weekend
The radio questions was checking to see if you had caused yourself a problem, not a suggestion.
Turning off the radio means no outside connection aside from Ethernet, not what you want.
