Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Are used to be able to hook my Sonos speakers up to Apple airplay. I cannot now how do I fix this follow up question if I could stream my own music from my iMac to my Sonos speaker systems I would not need to use airplay will there ever be that ability again? 

I used with the previous app RadioTunes as a streaming music hub.In my favorites all of my channels were there.. now they are gone..  can someone help me with this..pleaseEz

Before I updated the Sonos Ace headphones when I first received them, there was a sound indicating they were on or off when holding the power button. But since I updated, I don’t hear any sound making it hard to know if the headphones are on or off. I have to open the Sonos app to see if the device is connected which is a bit annoying. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

After 2 hour wait finally got tech support.  The Support Rep was very unclear and confused as if the things broken, were coming across as new bug reports. Sonos product team decided they will use customers for bug testing rather than releasing their own tested product.  I have 5 Play 1s, 1 Play 3, 1 Play 5, 1 Move2, 1 bridge, 1 SUB and 1 AMP.  The Play 5 and 2 Play 1’s are used with the AMP and SUB for surround sound system.  Here are my major issues.  App update broke EVERYTHING.  Had to do a complete reset and reinstall. After I got over the anger, was able to add all the speakers bad.   iOS- trying to GROUP the AMP with the PLAY 5 and 2 PLAY 1s to do surround with TV DOES NOT work.  But the MAC app allows that, so i’m able to watch TV but i have to use MAC to control everything. iOS app is useless. Why is so difficult to connect a Play 1 to a new wifi router?  I have spent a lifetime working in IT and this must be one of my worst experiences.    I can connect with a network cable but when I try to manage the network to set up wifi I get an error message “no products found”!  I might as well be talking to a brick. I have spent several hours reading and following guides on both the Sonos site and this community without success.  The setup guide on the sonos site for a Play 1 does not work, perhaps the person who produced it should actually try to use it.  It does not offer any further help other than to look on the community site.I also own a BlueSound system with 3 components, which is several years older, but took only minutes to connect to the new router.  The Sonos uk support is impossible to contact - wait time 106 minutes - really?.  No email contact.  It seems that Sonos are only interested in their  new products and do not support older products - less than

My music library is stored on an internal desktop drive.  My system is Windows 10.  For the app I use iOS.Since the latest app update, Sonos appears to see my library but cannot play anything from it.  The titles of my imported playlists show up but every attempt to select from one of these titles produces either “Something went wrong, try again” in the mobile app or “Unable to browse music” in the desktop app.  The web app fails too.I don’t know where to start with this.  The system sees all four of my speakers and can stream through them, just not access the stored files, which is the main reason I set up my Sonos network.  My wifi is sophisticated, capable, constantly updated and professionally maintained.  Some of the technical solutions I have researched online are either very speculative or technically above my pay-grade.  I suspect this issue can be traced to exactly how I direct Sonos to my library on my D: drive but I have experimented with that to no a

I am unable to successfully re-authorize my SiriusXM account using the new App on Android. After entering my credentials into the SirusXM login page and getting a success message, I then get a message from the Sonos App that it is unable to log in to SiriusXM. When I use my Old iPad with the S2 App, I have full access to my SiriusXM music service and I am not prompted to re-authorize the account

Installed the new app update today and am running into some bugs with Qobuz integration.  Navigating to Qobuz —> Favorites —> Artists, nothing loads, just an icon screen (screenshot below).  Same with “Tracks” (screenshot also below).  Anyone else having this issue?  It looks like the Sonos app maybe thinks they’re playlists? Qobuz —> Favorites —> Albums loads fine.   Thanks in advance!   

Here’s what I learned from a helpful, patient Level 2 Sonos tech today after I called to report the fact that I cannot play any content from my music library through Sonos:Win 10, iOS app:The problem of not being able to play from clients’ music libraries is now officially recognised by Sonos.  After the tech rebooted my Sonos system from her end, we both discovered that if any attempt is made to play from an imported playlist, the system will crash and will stay like that until it is rebooted again.  If no attempt is made to play from an imported playlist after rebooting the system, it is possible to play music from other categories within the library, such as albums, songs, artists, etc., but only from the desktop app.  The tech said this problem has emerged within the last week and there’s no timeline for fixing it...but she assured me that they are trying.This whole thing is such a disgrace, the worst consumer software meltdown I have experienced in

I have seen others run into this problem:  Sonos Roam WILL NOT register. It is connected to same wifi and communicating with my iPhone 15. I go through the steps, phone and Roam communicate. Then on last step with green & white blinking lights - the Roam turns solid white for 30-60 seconds saying it is completing registration - then Fails. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. The Roam appears in my iPhone System settings but shows as:  Not Registered.  And that means I cannot do anything with it.  So it’s there, but Sonos will not let me register it and continues to fail every time. HELP! Right now this Roam is useless to me.  FYI - I have rebooted my iPhone several times. I know my Router is fine and my other two Sonos Products (Play One and Move) are working perfectly. This is a Sonos issue and I really need some help here. 

I can’t believe this app “upgrade”. In fact, it’s a downgrade, and it’s full of bugs and renders speakers unusable multiple times. I was a huge Sonos fan, I bought the SONO stock and still own a lot. I have more than 15 speakers in 3 locations. I thought Apple did not have any chance with the Homepod, but now it seems Sonos shot itself in the foot. What is great hardware worth if you can’t use it?   Do the devs or managers at Sonos use their own speakers?   It’s a nightmare, it’s not just a question of adding songs to the queue. It’s the whole experience that is trash, full of bugs, errors saying it can’t connect to speakers and more. 😭 So sorry for SONOS, I used to love the company so much!

Yesterday the Sonos iPhone app prompted me to reauthorize my SiriusXM account. I did and ever since then all of the SiriusXM channels are greyed out and unselectable to play. I tried deleting the service and readding. No luck. I tried the Sonos iPad app and I’m experiencing  the same issue.  If I go into the SiriusXM app and connect to my Sonos via AirPlay, it will work, which is my workaround for the time being, but it’s extra steps and annoying. Is anyone else having this issue? I have the play bar, two sonos ones and the sub. Thank you.

The new app makes sonos a really poor experience I have a lot of occasions where I need to play music and edit live playlists or play next Everything has gone slow The app often can't find my system... Nothing else has changed my network was previously adequate... I've spent hours troubleshooting.. And my system is unreliable and near enough useless to use in a party scenario It's taking months and months for updates This isn't good enough Sonos 

Hello-  When using my Playbase for home theater, the sound intermittently drops out completely while watching video.  If I press repeatedly on the volume button on my apple tv remote, the sound usually will slowly ramp back up again.  Does this mean my Playbase is failing?

Unable to change music channel on sonos 5 speaker

Who designed this terrible app and WHY? I have many Sonos speakers and give them as gifts all the time. I am DONE with Sonos if they don’t fix this truly terrible app. Looking at different options and will switch if I have too. Not accepting this!

Purchased a Link Station NAS drive as requested by Sonos….Get “ Music files not available” message also saying device may not be powered on or path has changed. Van add small files/albume apround 80 mb, but get message when trying to add one folder/album at a time. any ideas?

I have just purchased a Ray sound bar and I am having great difficulty setting it up.i have followed the instructions in the app and get a white flashing light and I attempt to add my ray sound bar to the app the light continues to flash white but stops after 30 seconds and will not connect.i am hoping to attach a Sony turntable via Bluetooth eventually but can’t even add to my iPhone to stream music.PLEASE HELP!!!

Starting this morning (7/17) the Sonos Android app is just repeatedly crashing. It’s been generally terrible and barely usable since the redesign, but now it’s literally useless. Just immediately crashes. No updates were installed to the app or phones, and nothing else has changed in my system. I’ve tried force stopping, clearing cache, clearing all storage, and completely uninstalling & reinstalling. The Windows desktop app still works, but both phones we have are seeing this issue. Has anyone experienced this?My IOS S2 app can browse and select playlists that I created using the Sonos controller app. But it is unable to play the playlist. After selecting a playlist, the S2 app populates the queue for the device I want to play it on. I see this occur in the UI. BUT, when I try to play the playlist, or even a single song in the queue, the S2 app simply shows a spinning circle.All of my playlists were created with the S1 version of the controller (desktop and IOS versions). These playlists are called  “Sonos Playlists” in the desktop version of the controller. I don’t have this issue when using the desktop version of the S2 controller. I can browse, select and play any of the playlists that I created with the Sonos controller. Even more strange….. If I queue up a playlist with the desktop controller, I can then control (pause, start) play of the playlist from the IOS S2 app. I can also use the S2 app to select and play in

My Sonos Beam is current connected to our TV and works perfectly.   Where this is, we want to connect a CD player so that we can play the CD’s through the Beam, rather than have a second set of speakers for the CD player.Is this possible, and how would I go about it please? Many thanks
