Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Is anyone else getting there Sonos settings , EQ etc cleared out and not saving? Even my trueplay is showing as if I haven’t done it, and also the all amps seem to be going “WiFi enabled” even if I had some “disabled” 

Sonos release 4 August 2024 (I'm guessing the date; I updated these on Tue 6 August):There is a fault with the Android & iOS controllers: neither display the section called "Your Sources", which, in my case consists of [1] Music Library and [2] Line-In [Amp]The Music Library is accessible (it resides on a powered-on Windows device) and (of course) I am able to see all of its contents on the Windows version of the controller.But when I start the Android controller and the iOS controller, neither controller shows "Your Sources". Note that the Windows device was already up and running and playing (using the Music Library) to a Roam speaker with no issue.I then power on both Sonos Play speakers (and the Line-In Amp) .. and magically.. the Android and iOS show up the "Your Sources" details.What could possibly have prevented seeing my sources on those two mobile versions?? I have a new iPhone and Sonos app has stopped recognising my phone and kitchen and bedroom speakers. It tells me to sign out/in which I do but just keeps repeating this order 

I have a relatively old Sonos system, Sonos Play 5, Play 3 and a Sonos Bridge. It has been fine for a long time now, but since a new router was installed I can only get connected using the mobile app about one time out of ten.

I have 15 Sonos speakers in my house…ever sense I added the eras the system does not play well at all..not connecting for playback..does anyone have thoughts on the eras 100.

I can’t pick up any Sonos radio throw my speakers anymore I just says stations are unavailable.?

I get reliable sound quality on my Roam via bluetooth connection.  But when I use that bluetooth Roam as the source for a group of speakers on my system via wifi, the sound constantly dropps for a split second---over and over again--on the wifi connect speakers, while the roam speaker remains constant.  

Hi, It always used to that changing your address to a different region within you Sonos account gave you access to that region’s services. Is this no9 longer the case> No matter what region I change to I get the same selection of services

Put in update yesterday and now I cannot add/edit/access or change the music Library. Run as Admin. Given FULL rights, Shared it. Shouted at it. I am an IT Pro of over 50 years experience. This needs fixing YESTERDAY. Contrition is good but results are better. Release rewind to prior WORKING update immediately please.

Can’t believe my system was working fine before the update and now it won’t work at all . 30% discount on a $3000+ system wow. This is sad! Very disappointed that a company would purposely make a new upgrade so all 6 speakers stop working just to get new product. Anyone else have this issue ?

There's a Ace software update available, from 2.9.2.xxx to 2.9.3.xxxThe update process is incredibly slow, more than 10 minutes after a quick download. I assume since it uses Bluetooth to communicate with the Sonos app.It would be nice if sonos posted release notes, which I can't find, but in any case there's no hint of TrueCinema in the settings yet. 

I have just unwrapped a new Sonos Port and tried to downgrade it from S2 to S1 in order to incorporate it into my system which contains some devices which can’t be upgraded from S1.I can’t see the downgrade option in the Sonos app and the Sonos website indicates that v80 of the app does not support downgrading.  Are there any other options that I can take to downgrade the Port or should I send it back and get a refund? 

Like others my Sonos speaker has disappeared from the app and it now can’t find it. Thought I would share the detailsThe above happened a while ago after Sonos updated the app. Then today I opened the app, ever the optimist, and lo and behold a picture of my One SL appeared as found. Obviously one of the recent updates has fixed it. I selected connect and after 30 seconds it told me it couldn’t connect. Now it can’t even see the speaker, again. The speaker appears on my network WiFi so I know it “exists” Ive tried the WiFi on 2.4 and 5Ghz WiFi with no joy. Admittedly the app is not essential but it is useful. This is pretty disgraceful IMO. I know Sonos have said they are going to issue updates but even finding their own products from the app is a poor reflection on them

I have an old Sonos Connect showing up in https://www.sonos.com/en-us/myaccount/system/households/devices and cannot find a way to remove it on my own. It does not show up in my Sonos mobile app (iOS).

My play 5 is not playing any sound on my tv

Hi all,I have updated my iPhone and iPad to the latest version of the Sonos App and on BOTH I have a BLACK icon with SONOS written across it.On the screens ob both It shows I have version 80.05.05 But ….. On my iMac I have also installed the latest version from the downloads page on SonoS and even though the website says 80.05 dated 7/22/2024 I can not see that version on my iMac .. It is still showing 16.3The icon is still the old GOLD icon.Is this correct ? I seem to be having many problems with my library at the moment after getting the newer versions.  

Greetings All. Been having a mare since new update as cannot add in Apple Music in Content Services.I have tried this from Android, iOS. Deleted both Sonos and Apple apps and tried again. Tried older version of Sonos app etc… On iOS and Android I cannot add any of the services listed. Strangely I tried on Windows and can add some services from there but when I try Apple Music it results in a message stating that ‘Apple Music must be added to Sonos from an iOS device or Android phone’. Anyone had any luck in resolving a similar situation>?

I have a Roam (gen 1) and I’d like to now if I get a Roam 2 (as they’re cheaper), will I be able to create a stereo pair (using wifi - I understand this is not possible with Bluetooth). Or do I need to get another gen 1 Roam?

I have not used Sonos for a few months. When I logged in today it updated my controller to 80155014When I try to access my music library it says I do not have access to the folder (C:/user/../itunes)How do I use the system now?John Cattell

Please tell me I’m not alone in seeing a huge drain my device batteries since the 80.50.04 update. I’ve had music playing since about 8am currently 11:46am and it’s used 15% of my battery. 6mins screen time and 14h in the background?!?  Same across all my devices, this can’t be right surely? Has to be know issue, this is not acceptable. What are they doing mining crypto in background to prop up the share price?  *edit - turns out I can’t type, apologies for mistake  in the title 🤦‍♂️

I just played an old playlist. On my computer, where I am still using the old app, I see that it’s playing, and I can see that there are a lot of songs in the queue. But in the new app is says the queue is empty, even though it also says it’s playing a song. Is there a way to really see what is in the queue?
