Hi, my current set up has 2 sonos amps and a sonos port, all plugged into ethernet cables, creating three zones that can all play something different or the same.  I want to be able to play my TV through these zones, but the amps are located in another room.  My question is if i buy a sonos soundbar (wifi), would that create a fourth zone that i could use the source of this new zone (the TV) to synch through the other three zones?  Goal is mostly for football games to have the game play throughout the house/patio.  If there is another way to get TV to play through current set up, i am open to that as well.

Yes.  You can  use a Sonos soundbar, or another amp, to your TV, then the new 4th zone can group TV audio with the rest of your system.  There will be a slight delay in the audio, around 75ms, but that shouldn’t be an issue if the other zones are physically in a different room.

This is the best option, but you could also get a Sonos speaker that has bluetooth or an aux input.  The speaker won’t be in sync with the video at all, but if you intend to mute it, then it can group that audio to your other zones in the same way you’d group the soundbar audio.

edit - typo

Thanks Danny, will more than likely go the soundbar route
