I am switching to T mobile 5, how do I connect my laptop Sonos system, and or my iPhone 11 to team mobile? I have 2 Sonos 5 speakers.

I have a T-Mobil 5G router that generates a WiFi network, and I connect any device to the WiFi network the same way I would do with any other network. The source of the network signal shouldn’t matter, it is whether it exists or not (and matches the information in the Sonos Network Requirements FAQ). There are extremely rare cases of router issues (you can search the Sonos FAQs, ASUS seems to be the worst offender), but I’ve had no significant issues with the network created by the T-Mobil device.

+18If your question is related to a router switch, the easiest is to (if possible) set the SSID and password for the old router in the new router.
Thanks for the tip on the SSID and also for helping me to feel better about switching. Just for my clarity do you have a modem and a router? It is my understanding that the modem brings the signal in and the router is the device that allows you to connect devices. Or, do all boxes from providers now serve as gateways for the signal and connection point for other devices? I have an xfinity/comcast box which says use the settings below (the SSID and the password) to connect wifi capable devices.

First, there is no Sonos 5 ;) There are Sonos PLAY:5s, two generations, and a Sonos Five, of which there is one generation. No trouble connecting any of these to a WiFi signal created by the T-Mobile modem/router in one device.
That being said, the T-Mobile software doesn’t give me access to define reserved IP addresses, something I have long done as appropriate network housekeeping, including setting them for all my Sonos devices. I am considering if I want to demote it to merely a modem, and use my own Netgear WiFi device to generate my signal. The Netgear allows me to set up reserved IP addresses. But I have moved in the last year, and just unpacked the Netgear (after much remodeling of the house, forcing me to hold off on unpacking), and the T-Mobile has been powering my 20 plus devices without an issue for a year. So it’s likely something tickling my OCD, and not something that I really should be worrying about.

You should be able to change the WiFi login credentials for a Xfinity gateway. Maybe from within the Xfinity app. Not that sure about the app as I did it from the Xfinity settings accessed from the Web. Xfinity keeps changing things so your results may vary.
