Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

If two are watching the same TV show….. One with the Sonos Ace one listening on Sonos Arc/sub and rear speakers…… does the ace cut out the sound so the person without the headphones cannot hear or control the sound in the traditional way? 

Tengo el sistema soround de sonos, mi equipo es un Arc, 2 Era 300 y 1 sub mini, todo funcionaba perfecto pero por alguna razon se desconecto mi sub mini y no he podido conectarlo de nuevo.ya reinicie a valores de fabrica el sub desinstale la aplicacion y volvi a instalarla cambie de router reinicie la app renombre el nombre de mi sistema reinicie todo.Con los otros equipos no tengo ningun problema, los reconocen facilmente y se conectan de manera normal. El sub mini lo reconoce el sistema, me genera el pin, sale el reconomiento como palomita, y ya despues no pasa a la siguiente etapa. Lo he dejado como 2 horas y nada. Is Sonos doing anything to fix the issues with the bad update?  I'm still having nothing but problems with it not recognizing the network to playing music from any provider due to it not even loading to my screen and if I can play anything there are volume issues with multiple speakers.  

HAVE I JUMPED THE GUN???????? I just received my Ace headphones which I have been waiting for for 4 years!! One feature I bought them on the back of was the fact that you can pick up from the soundbar. I have been trying to do it for hours and just seen it only works with Arc? Is this true anyone know? I am returning if this is the case Thanks for any answers / help in advance 

Changing my Wi-Fi required a complete reinstall of the systems. Using the new S2 app, this completely failed.I have the following hardware:1xArc2xone (gen 2)  - surround1xsub (gen 1) I reset all to factory settings. Only arc plugged in initially.  open appAdd arc. This worked. Plug in two One’s and put them in reset mode (green slow flash)  In app go to settings > room > add surround > add surround (from popup) = instant “no devices found”dead end  swear  repeat with same result  I can’t see the debug logs from the app.Call support to be told there is an 80 minute wait, at 17:00 on a Friday  when they close at 18:00post here  any ideas?   

Dear Patrick Spence,Your Sonos products are crap.I did some research to find the best Bluetooth speaker, for my needs, so I purchased a Sonos Roam, bad decision.My Sonos music library is loaded onto my computer and I used to play my songs from that. As that's where I store my music. It used to be good up until the May update…………. then things got crap, but hey lets get a two year old to write the code, or even better get the opposition to write it.Now in order to have a Sonos product you must have a mobile phone to set it up, now nothing is connected to my speaker, either by phone or computer. But I can connect to the Sonos Tune In…………...Yesterday is was connected after about 45 minutes to Sonos via “Chat” he did nothing but it magically connected, but yesterday afternoon it connected multiple times, I tried again last night and again today but you guessed it, not connecting. It seems that it only connects when you wait for ages on the Sonos help li

Neither Apple stations or Amazon (prime) stations will “stick” when setting up an alarm, whether new or edited. “Selected content is no longer available” will cancel out the alarm set-up. My system, both software and firmware version is up to date. Rules have been followed to the letter re. launching app twice with forced quit in between. However, radio stations I have added outside of subscription services do function as expected and “stick” to the alarm setting and play as expected. Is this a fix we are still waiting for after the ill-fated launch of the new, ugly app?

Multiple speakers are unusable  and won’t play.volume bar shows nothing 

I thought upgrading to the Beam Gen 2 would allow me to change the audit output on my Samsung to Dolby Digital+ for Atmos, but it’s still greyed out. Anybody have any solution?

I have a Sonos one speaker directly plugged into my router via Cat 5 Ethernet cable.  The speaker is about 100 feet away from my router. But is hard wired in.  Sometimes my speaker will play all day long, sometimes the speaker will play for 30 seconds.  The Ethernet cable is good.  I have done a factory reset in the speaker.  Why do I have so much trouble using this speaker?  Do I need to set it up as a group?  I have had issues with this forever now and can’t seem to figure out what the issue is.  Please help!!

HiHave just tried to reconfigure my SONOS setup after the app upgrade (on iphone).  I’m having a major issue with adding my Play:1s which I have been using in a surround sound config with sub and playbar.  I have done factory reset a few times, the app seems to find the Play:1s ok but when I go into set up, the speakers are nowhere to be found and I have to go through the whole process again, to achieve the same result ie no Play:1s are found.  What have I missed? Playbar and sub are fine - had no issues before the upgrade. Thanks

My Roam keeps dropping out of the group when playing with my other Sonos products in my system/network. 

ERA 100 is my first Sonos equipment. I attempted to set it up using the SONOS app on my iPhone. The set up went through smoothly. But at the end, I got this message: “Your Era 100 has been added but may not appear in your System. If so, unplug the power cord and plug it back in to finish setup from System Settings”. I followed these instructions, but my Era 100 did not show up in the systemI have repeated this step several times by factory resetting the Era 100 and trying again. It does not work.Any idea to resolve this issue will be very much appreciated.

I am trying to connect my Move 2 to my tv but am having issues.  I have an optical cable that goes into the back of my tv, and the other end has a toslink plug.  I know I need an adapter to plug into the Move 2, but I can’t seem to find what I need.  Can someone help me understand what adapter I need in this situation? Thank You

I have three different Sonos setups at different locations that used to work with just one phone and one app - and the old app would automatically switch between the different systems.The new app broke this. The new app appears to no longer support multiple physically separate Sonos systems on separate networks that are all linked to the same user ID/controller.I tried to reset the devices at my office and re-add them, but that made matters worse. I now get “there was a problem linking ... to your account” and the speakers appear to be just bricks. Even after a total reset, I cannot re-add the speakers at all.This may be the most incompetent consumer technology company in the history of mankind.

Detected my Beam but cannot add into my network. I have factory reset the beam but it still does not work. However it can detect my sub and add into my network.

Before the upgrade I could connect to my Sirius app for music selection. After the upgrade I cannot connect to Sirius. Is this being corrected in a future update?.

I have a Sonos Flare speaker which my iPad will connect to (via Bluetooth) without any issues.However I cannot get it to work with my iPhone. My phone can’t seem to see the speaker. Any ideas?My phone connects fine to the bluetooth devices

I’ve been having a pretty frustrating time trying to set up my Sonos system these past few weeks. It works for a bit and then things seem to disconnect and I end up having to reset everything and go through the entire drawn out setup process again and again. I have a Sonos Arc Sl, a pair of 100’s and a sub Gen 2. I know the arc set up isn’t designed for projectors but when it works it’s amazing. My projector has a eARC port but for whatever reason my Sonos arc won’t recognize it and fails to output Dolby Atmos. After buying a new highspeed hdmi cable and trying other things to fix the issue I decided to just bit the bullet and buy an HD Fury Arcana to resolve it. After installing the Arcana the everything was working for a few days, I was able to get Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision and my Apple TV remote was able to control volume of the arc. Yesterday the system decided stop letting my Siri Remote control volume of the system. I tried messing around with a few setting and some quick r

I bought the twin pack of ace so my wife and I could watch a movie together without disturbing the house. Not supported. If you have this use case you don’t need two pair. 

New home addition completed. I have a mounted TV, connected to a Sonos Amp behind it (in the wall) and it’s connected to 2 in-ceiling NON-Sonos speakers on either side of TV.I am playing music through the speakers and at other times TV through speakers. It’s a large room though, and if I want to have MUSIC extend to opposite side of room without cranking volume, I assume I can add other Sonos speakers (Era 100) to opposite side of room. Can I use same speakers in a surround-sound setup for when watching TV?  Will they function as surround sound even though front speakers are not Sonos (but are connected to Amp)? Can I use Truplay to set up?  thank you.

My Sonos set up (Arc, Sub, several One speakers) always appear as temporary audio output - see Family Room. How can I make them default? I have to update this setting every single time I turn my TV on :(My Apple TV is HD 4th Generation, if that matters.Thank you!   

I get various error codes: 30, 1000, blah blah.  It’s all nonsense.I spent 3.5 hours on the phone with two different Support people, over two different sessions, only to have the second guy tell me at the end of 2 hours that I am hitting a KNOWN issue/bug with THEIR system, and that they will email me when it’s fixed.The next day (4 days ago) Level 2 Support sends me a “try these things” email -- all of which was already tried.  The email references my case number, so it’s as if they never read the case.Factory resets were tried.  Connecting the Play:1 to wifi and ethernet cable were tried. Uploaded multiple sets of diagnostics.I replied to that email, asking when their issue would be fixed… still no reply 4 days later. Looks like the Sonos platform is not what it used to be.I’ve had issues in the past, and always received excellent support, but that was a few years ago.Seems those days are gone...

When will the ability to downgrade software be restored to the S1 app?  I just purchased a Move speaker because it was supposed to be compatible with the S1 app and my older Sonos speakers, but in order to make it compatible, it needs a software downgrade.  The latest version of S1 removed this feature.  When will the app be updated to have that feature restored?  Thank you.
