Move 2 cuts in and out using AirPlay

[forgive the typo in the headline, can’t edit that]
I setup my brand new Move 2 using the app over my gigabit mesh WiFi (so speed isn’t a factor) but when I try to play music from Spotify or Pandora on the Move 2 it cuts in and out like ‘picket fencing’.   Horribly annoying.  If I use the crappy Sonos app it doesn’t do it as much, so I believe it’s something to do with Apple AirPlay.  However, I can stream to my Bose ear buds and JBL Bluetooth speakers just fine using AirPlay so what the deal. Does Sonos want to force me to use their app?

I’d agree with @John B

And while speed may not be a factor (and is pretty rarely an issue), duplicate IP addresses, or simple wifi interference may be.

First, why on Earth would Sonos deliberately provide a sub-standard function to its users? I'll assume that was just because you wanted to have a pop at Sonos and so I'll move on.

What happens if you play to your Move using Bluetooth?

Do you have any other Sonos speaker?

What mesh do you have and is it set up in access point mode?
